About: Hi! I've never met a dog that didn't like me. I'm a lifelong dog dad and Atlanta native. I've worked with large and small breeds as well as young and elderly dogs that need extra care. No dog is too unruly. I'm kind, calm, and attentive. While you're on a beach somewhere in the Carribean, your dog/dogs will be having their own fun back at home. We're talking walks, snacks, playtime, photoshoots, and more. They will still miss you, but less probably. I work remotely from home and my schedule is flexible enough that I'm able to schedule plenty of visits and walks with your fur baby/s. I have a fenced in 1/4 acre yard, a lot of tennis balls, and my own fur baby, Cali. Depending on your dog's personality they will be really excited or really annoyed by Cali's happy, but overly enthusiastic energy.

I only accept one dog (or dogs from the same household) at a time, so your dog gets my full attention and is cared for as if they were my own. • Plenty of proper walks. Two lengthy walks of at least 1hr each per day, usually in the park or on the Beltline, plus regular potty breaks. I will NOT go to dog parks until I know your dog very well- your pets safety always comes first. (Of course, everything is adjusted to your dog’s age, health and energy level) • Mental enrichment. Brain-stimulation toys, snuffle mats, treat puzzles, lick mats, playtime and other activities based on what your dog enjoys. • I work from home. I’ll be with your dog throughout their stay, with plenty of company, attention, cuddles, playtime and supervision. • Peace of mind for you. You’ll receive regular photos and updates throughout their stay, so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. • Just bring your dog! My background includes working alongside veterinary staff in high school, dog walking in college, and raising my own dog into their senior years. Pet care is my primary focus! I am available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for mid-day walks, potty breaks, and daytime companionship. Caring for my own 9-year-old dog keeps my day structured, allowing me to seamlessly match your pet’s exact routine while you’re busy during the workday. When caring for pets in your home, my top priority is keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible so they feel completely comfortable in their familiar environment. She truly went above and beyond—even washing Snoop’s clothes and diapers before we arrived to pick him up. That was such a thoughtful touch and meant so much to us. Snoop is a senior dog, so leaving him with someone we trust is especially important to us. He usually runs straight to us and is ready to get back home, but this time it was completely different. When we got in the car to leave, he rested his head on my shoulder and looked back through the window at Meredith’s house. 🥹 That told us everything we needed to know about how comfortable and happy he was there. We feel so lucky to have found Meredith and would absolutely book with her again. If we travel out of town again, there’s no question that Snoop will be staying with her!”

“Akeeme was the perfect choice for my Willow! She had never done any boarding or daycare and doesn’t get to socialize with other dogs often, so Akeeme met her where she was at and was able to give her to space she needed to be comfortable around other dogs. Willow is also a very anxious dog. He was able to recognize when she needed her independent time. For my trip back home, I ran into travel time delays and Akeeme was more than accommodating to me. I’m so appreciative of that! I know that Willow is is great and very capable hands with him.”

About: New to Rover, but not to dogs! I have 14 years of experience caring for dogs: from raising my beloved Pinscher Coco to years of dog sitting and boarding dogs of all breeds and sizes. Sadly, I recently had to say goodbye to my baby and I’d love to share that same care, attention and love I gave her with your dog. ❤️🌈 I’m European and offer what I like to call a “European-style dog-sitting experience”: • One dog at a time. I only accept one dog (or dogs from the same household) at a time, so your dog gets my full attention and is cared for as if they were my own. • Plenty of proper walks. Two lengthy walks of at least 1hr each per day, usually in the park or on the Beltline, plus regular potty breaks. I will NOT go to dog parks until I know your dog very well- your pets safety always comes first. (Of course, everything is adjusted to your dog’s age, health and energy level) • Mental enrichment. Brain-stimulation toys, snuffle mats, treat puzzles, lick mats, playtime and other activities based on what your dog enjoys. • I work from home. I’ll be with your dog throughout their stay, with plenty of company, attention, cuddles, playtime and supervision. • Peace of mind for you. You’ll receive regular photos and updates throughout their stay, so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. • Just bring your dog! I provide everything needed for a comfortable stay: a spacious kennel, food & water bowls, toys, enrichment activities and treats, plus basic kibble if ever needed in a pinch. You’re of course always welcome to bring their favorite bed or toys from home; I just ask that you provide their usual food to keep their routine and diet consistent. I pride myself on offering a true dog retreat. Fair warning: your dog might not want to come home! 🐾😂 I work from home and am home about 90% of the time, which means your dog will have plenty of company, walks, playtime and attention throughout the day. I do occasionally step out for errands, groceries or a workout class. During those times, as well as overnight, your dog will be safely kenneled. For this reason, I can only accept dogs who are fully crate-trained and comfortable settling in their crate. I take this job incredibly serious. I know that for many of us, our dogs aren’t “just pets” - they’re family and often quite literally our babies 🐶❤️ I am First Aid/CPR certified and own a dog first aid kit. After every boarding visit I thoroughly clean and sanitize the space and toys with non-toxic cleaning supplies. Your pups safety, comfort and happiness always come first!
