About: I’ve taken care of dogs forever. There has not been a full year in my life where I didn’t have a family dog or a dog of my own. We recently lost our pit mix to a tumor and our sr husky mix could use come company. I am home every day and have the ability to take care of your dog while you’re away I have a large fenced backyard that will allow your dog to be out and active. About: Hello! I grew up in New Jersey and have called Georgia home for the last 8 years. As early as I can remember, I’ve loved being around animals of all shapes and sizes. I bond easily with most animals because I am a kind, calm, and confident person. My friends call it a nurturing spirit because countless times I have been to a gathering or party and someone's pet decided that I was their new best friend. When I started living on my own in Atlanta, I decided it was time to adopt my first pets as an adult. I adopted two seniors who still had so much love to share. Their names were Brittanica (the cat) and Roberta (the dog). Both were diagnosed with chronic illnesses that required IV fluids and maintenance medications that had to be given on particular schedules. With advice from their care team, I made sure that each interaction for treatment was a positive experience. Sometimes I pulled out all the stops with treats, bundling them in a blanket, and setting up a soothing environment. If your pet requires such treatments, written notes would be appreciated so I can reference the process as much as possible. My current pets are younger than my first two and keep me on my toes! We have a lot of fluffy fun as Stellaluna is a sweetheart, longhaired domestic cat and Sir Waddles Von Wigglebutt is a very friendly, laid back corgi. We have a good routine where the first thing we do when we wake up is pre-breakfast cuddle time! There have been times where we’ve needed to be flexible and eat breakfast first though. My day-to-day is structured so that I can get steps in with Waddles and I can set up enrichment activities for his working dog nature. Often you’ll see us with the Atlanta Corgi group so he can be a social butterfly. If the weather isn’t great or I have a deadline to meet at work, he’ll stay home and do puzzles. Other hobbies that fit in my schedule include playing DND or board games, doing dog training classes with Waddles, and watching TV with Stella. When it comes to taking care of your pets, I will make sure that we keep to the routine they’re most familiar with too! We’ll do videos and pics as much as we can during the visit. My goal with each visit is that your pet is treated well and feels like they’re getting their own vacation even though they’ll be missing you. I work in the film industry in post production and I work remotely from home. I will have plenty of time to play and check on your furry friend for scheduled appointments. When I do not have an active contract, I enjoy taking longer walks and playing with your pet extra with your pet. To guarantee more than 30 minutes of play time, please book my 60 min visits. Safety is a top priority when I am taking care of animals. Regardless of how well trained a pet is, they are animals and are unpredictable at times. For that reason, when walking your dog, I will make sure that it is on leash unless we are in your fenced yard. If your dog is staying over with me, a crate is necessary so they have their own space where they’re safe when I’m not home. I do have a cat so if your dog is not cat friendly, we will not be able to work together. I believe in strong communication and transparency. While with your fuzzy friend, I will send you updates and photos through the app!

I only accept one dog (or dogs from the same household) at a time, so your dog gets my full attention and is cared for as if they were my own. • Plenty of proper walks. Two lengthy walks of at least 1hr each per day, usually in the park or on the Beltline, plus regular potty breaks. I will NOT go to dog parks until I know your dog very well- your pets safety always comes first. (Of course, everything is adjusted to your dog’s age, health and energy level) • Mental enrichment. Brain-stimulation toys, snuffle mats, treat puzzles, lick mats, playtime and other activities based on what your dog enjoys. • I work from home. I’ll be with your dog throughout their stay, with plenty of company, attention, cuddles, playtime and supervision. • Peace of mind for you. You’ll receive regular photos and updates throughout their stay, so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. • Just bring your dog! I provide everything needed for a comfortable stay: a spacious kennel, food & water bowls, toys, enrichment activities and treats, plus basic kibble if ever needed in a pinch. You’re of course always welcome to bring their favorite bed or toys from home; I just ask that you provide their usual food to keep their routine and diet consistent. I pride myself on offering a true dog retreat. “Misty is awesome! She took such wonderful care of our girl and sent lots of adorable photos and updates. I never had to wonder how things were going. Murphy always looked happy and Misty’s pup Kiyah was the perfect playmate for her. Misty walked Murph everyday and made sure she had lots of outside time (her favorite). She even got out a doggy pool for splashing around. Our flight home was delayed multiple times and Misty was incredible accommodating. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“So this is my first REAL time using ROVER and if all the sitters are like Oladapo then Rover is gonna make a ton of money. Oladapo was kind, accommodating, flexible and made me not feel horrible that I was leaving my dog to go on vacation because he was gonna love on my dog the same way I do. About: I adore dogs and I love figuring out what makes them happy and creating environments where they thrive. My senior dog recently passed and I find myself needing to be around dogs. I work remote, so my hours are pretty flexible. I’m in the Inman Park area and I’ve probably already asked if I can pet your dog. If your dog needs a running companion, I’m your girl!! I love to start with pets and snuggles to get the dog comfortable. On walks, I like to follow the dogs’ lead. If they want to sniff, I let them sniff and enjoy themselves. If they are more of an athlete and the owner is ok with it, I’m down to set a PR and go for a run.
About: I am taking new clients again I have excellent references and have seen some of my clients pets for years. Looking forward to meeting your fur baby! I am taking a break from accepting new customers so that I can focus on my film job and getting on a new project . I live near East Atlanta and I have a house, but it doesn’t have a fully fenced in yard but it’s centrally located in Ormewood Park.
