About: My senior dog passed away after we shared 18 wonderful years together. I know how much your family members mean to you. About: As a marine biologist, I love and adore all animals. Ever since I grew up, I have always had family pet(s) -- a dog (Golden Retriever, Shitzu, Lhasa Apso) and cat at the same time. My current cats are rescues Tip and Tiny, domestic black cats age 12, and they would love to interact with kittens or puppies! I have volunteer experience with wildlife, sea life/ aquarium cleaning, and domestic house fur babies. I am comfortable administering medication/cleaning of wounds to pets of all ages. I'm not sure what is worse, scooping poop or picking up poop! I'm happy to do either! Walks near Inman Park, Stn Mtn, or the beltline can be expected with me as your dog walker! About: Growing up with dogs, they have always been a part of my life. I got my own pup, Buttercup, when I was 21 and she was 4 months old, and she’s my ride or die and will be 12 this August. My husband and I rescued our puppy Izzy in February, and she is a bundle of energy at only 8 months old! With a senior dog, and a new puppy, I have plenty of experience with training, medication administration, walk/leash manners, and more. I can’t wait to spoil your pups like my own! About: I have had two dogs and one cat: an 11-year-old Bichon Frise, a Chihuahua who passed away at 17, and a cat who is now four and a half years old. I got my first dog when I was 11 years old, and from then on, I spent all of my allowance on my pets’ spay/neuter surgeries, routine checkups, treats, and supplements. I have an unusual amount of patience when it comes to animals, because I grew up in a family that truly loves them. I also have a lot of experience caring for very young pets under two months old, as well as experience being around large dogs. My work schedule is three days in the office and two days remote, so I have plenty of time to do the part time job during the week. When I take care of pets, I focus not only on their physical needs, but also on making sure they feel emotionally cared for. About: I've been taking care of all sorts of different pets since I was a kid. It was mainly cats for a long time but then became dogs, to sheep, to cows, and I know I can handle it all because I've been through nearly all. While I love pet sitting cats, I've grown to really enjoy my time with dogs as well. I love going outside and even sometimes jogging with them. Then we both get our energy out and exercise in for the day. I have a work from home job so typically I'll prioritize pet care above most things. I only rarely have to go to the office and that may only be a few hours at a time so I'm available nearly always to take care of the animals <3 I have a balcony dogs can go out on for some fresh air and will keep an eye on cats to make sure they don't go out, since I'll leave the door open for fresh air depending on the day. I Since volunteered at the Cat Cafe here which ended up closing I adopted 1 kitten there. “So this is my first REAL time using ROVER and if all the sitters are like Oladapo then Rover is gonna make a ton of money. Oladapo was kind, accommodating, flexible and made me not feel horrible that I was leaving my dog to go on vacation because he was gonna love on my dog the same way I do. The pictures and video he gave me while I was away definitely helped. This guy is the definition of SERVICE WITH A SMILE. He picked up my crate and food and leash from my car and carried it to his apartment and I didmt lift a finger. “Amika was timely and has excellent communication skills. She came to our home to meet Marvel, our four year old Frenchie. She was sure to learn about his favorite toys, snacks and schedule. After pickup, she sent timely updates. I still treasure her many pictures and videos. Amika is an absolute Angel! She was patient, kind, attentive and diligent in her pursuit of a friendship with Marvel, our 4-year old Frenchie. Marvel is a rescue who lived a very difficult life ahead of finding our family. Because of this, he is very distrusting of new people. Her generosity was overwhelming. As she realized his deference towards her would require more wooing. She committed to winning him over, even purchasing him a huge pack of his favorite toys– tennis balls. She even refused reimbursement. 10/10 I will book with Amika again and again!”
