I will ensure my time with them will be fun and show care and love as if they were my own. I'm retired and have plenty of time on my hands. One reason for pursuing this opportunity is to get more involved and out of the house. About: I've cared for puppies, kittens, senior dogs, senior cats, and everything in-between. I show up on time and make a special effort to bond with your furbabies. I know when I leave my own pup with someone, I want to make sure he is getting plenty of attention and I will do the same with your's. My 14 years of pet care experience is primarily being the sole caretaker for my own dog since he was a puppy and well into elder care, with a few pet sitting gigs a year. My housesitting guarantees: - never gone more than 6.5 hours at a time - with your dog the majority of hours of the day (12 or more hours) - I stay overnight - house cleaner than how I found it - custom quotes are available if your pet needs more time than what’s guaranteed here I make my own schedule so in most cases I can accommodate your's! :) Morning to afternoon is ideal but just let me know what you need. I respect your space and your furbaby. You are letting me into your home to care for your family and it's important to me that you feel at ease and can trust that everything will be as you expect it to be. I require a meet and greet for new clients to ensure we are on the same page about your fur baby and their routines. You can expect about 10 to 20 minutes of me asking you questions about your pet and you showing me their routines. Your pet needs to be there so they can get familiarized with me. If a walk is expected, I will also want us all to go on a walk together. I will send you a written summary of what we discussed to keep myself organized and for your peace of mind. Some other fun facts about me! I love to read! When house sitting I can often be found cuddled up with your dog reading a book, if they'll let me! Also, I love to cook and meal prep! When house sitting I bring with me everything I plan on eating and do not touch your food. Just microwave/coffee pot/air fryer if you have one. I also clean as a de-stressing activity. Murphy always looked happy and Misty’s pup Kiyah was the perfect playmate for her. Misty walked Murph everyday and made sure she had lots of outside time (her favorite). She even got out a doggy pool for splashing around. Our flight home was delayed multiple times and Misty was incredible accommodating. Can’t recommend her enough!”
