I provided grooming classes and puppy training (learn name, sit, stay, come, off leash, and potty training), on site as well. I am a law student in my final year, which means my schedule is much more flexible now. I am usually available in the mornings and evenings on weekdays, and I have even more availability on weekends for longer walks, park trips, or extra attention. Since I already build pet care into my daily routine, it is simple for me to adjust to your dog’s needs. Whether your pup needs structured activity or a calm companion to relax with, I can create the routine that keeps them comfortable and cared for. When I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my first priority is comfort, safety, and keeping their routine as familiar as possible. Every dog is different, so I take time to learn their schedule, feeding habits, potty timing, sleep preferences, and energy levels. If your dog is used to morning walks, enrichment time, or cuddles before bed, I keep that rhythm the same so they feel secure. In my home, dogs get walks in the morning and evening, plenty of play and sniff time throughout the day, and a cozy space to relax when they want downtime. I keep water fresh, rotate toys for enrichment, and provide a calm environment that feels like a second home. I supervise closely, especially during introductions and transitions, and I give dogs the space they need to settle in and feel comfortable. If I am in your home, I follow your rules fully. I respect boundaries, furniture rules, crate expectations, feeding instructions, and any training you are currently working on. I clean up after pets, monitor behavior, and make sure your home is treated with care. I send updates, pictures, and check-ins regularly so you always know how your pup is doing. My goal is always the same. I treat your pet the way I treat mine, with attention, patience, love, and routine. I’ll review your request to make sure the dates and times work. 2. We’ll schedule a brief Zoom call to discuss your pets and care needs. 3. If we’re a good fit, I’ll come meet you and your pets in person and go over their routine, feeding, medications, sleeping arrangements, potty breaks, and anything else I need to know. **WHICH SERVICE SHOULD YOU BOOK?** 🏠 **OVERNIGHT HOUSE SITTING** Best for vacations or trips where you need someone to stay overnight and maintain your pets’ normal routine. During the day, I may leave for other Rover drop in visits, the gym, errands, etc., but your pets will never be left alone for more than 2–3 hours at a time. 🐾 **DROP-IN VISITS** Best for pets who need care for a few hours or during the day but do **not** need an overnight stay. This includes feeding, potty breaks, walks, medication, playtime, or companionship. Multiple consecutive hours are considered a drop-in service and are $15/hour. About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and have a deep love for both dogs and cats. I’ve owned four dogs over the years and currently have three rescue pups of my own—including one foster “fail” (lesson learned: don’t foster puppies 😊). I’ve taken basic dog training classes and have worked with trainers over the years, so I’m comfortable handling different personalities, energy levels, and behaviors. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal like they’re my own—with patience, care, and lots of love. I have volunteered at animal shelters and have fostered many dogs over the years. I've learned a lot about dog behavior through that experience. I have given cats and dogs oral medication and have administered insulin shots to dogs. I require at least a week notice for all NEW client boarding and doggy daycare requests to allow for a meet and greet. I also require proof of current DHPP, Rabies and Bordatella vaccines before booking anyone. Please send those records with your request. Thanks! **during the fall semester (Aug 24-Dec 13), I am on campus for 8 hours on Tuesday and Thursday. Those days dogs get a 15 min break midday while I am away from my dog sitter. I work from home most of the time. I am usually not away from home for more than 4 hours. During the fall semester, I am away on T/R for about 8 hours a day. I have a large fenced yard and 3 dogs at home. Two of my dogs are seniors and one is almost 3 years old with lots of playful energy. I also have a large finished attic space that I use for doggy play, especially when it's super hot/cold outside.
