“Natalia loves dogs! I could tell since the first day she met Elvis. She has been very responsible with Elvis Walking schedule, always on time, very communicative and very respectful when inside our house. I can tell Elvis loves his walks with her. Thank you so much Natalia for all your help with Elvis!”

“Hannah was great with our puppy. Got her exercised and fed while we were out. Our puppy had a little fear of me people, but Hannah won her over right away and was able to win her over easily.”

“Hope, Thank you so much for walking Trixie, she absolutely loves seeing you. Thank you for your attentiveness, responsiveness, and flexibility. It’s truly been the best for us both and we hope to have you for many more walks to come! If you’re looking for a dog walker/sitter, Hope is your girl! Couldn’t ask for anyone better!”

“What can I say ? Amazing & I am so glad I came across her !! My dog has some serious reactivity / behavior issues , & after having a plan fall through last minute for his care as I had to recover from surgery & wasn’t going to be able to walk him on my own , Rebecca truly saved the day !! She was responsive and communicated well with me through the entire experience. She was beyond patient with my dog , and able to figure out and work around some of his triggers in a very short time frame . She was confident in her interactions with him despite his issues , and she was able to offer tips and things that I can implement that have been very helpful as I am feeling better and able to go on more walks with him. She was friendly , easy-going and you can tell she genuinely understands animals & their cue’s , & most of all that she genuinely cares for and about them. Such a wonderful overall experience and I can’t thank her enough for all the help as she truly saved the day for myself and my dog . I highly recommend her , & I plan to continue working with her whenever I am in need . Thanks a million !”

“Amanda was amazing! She was the first dog walker I ever booked on Rover, and she completely exceeded my expectations. She was so sweet and patient with my dog, Charlie, and even stayed with him for five minutes after the walk just to make sure he felt safe and comfortable before being left alone. It really meant a lot to me. I could tell she genuinely cared, and Charlie absolutely loved her. I would highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for someone kind, reliable, and attentive!”

About: I am a professional cat lady as I am active in TNR feral colony control in the neighborhood so i have mostly cats as pets right now. I love dogs and love walking them and playing etc, and I can't wait to meet and care for yours. Any size or breed welcome. The app has me available until 10 but am unavailable past 6 pm. I am a seamstress by trade and set my own hours most weeks. I prefer mornings but if needed, I can fit in an evening visit. I am very mindful of tidy pet places and of pet and owner needs. From scooping poop to bagging poop, I do it all! I can water plants, feed fish and grab your mail for you while you are out of town complete with lots of pet pics!
About: I grew up with many pets including 2 dogs, 2 cats, and more fish than I can count! As one of my dogs grew older, I learned to care for her, including helping with her arthritis by assisting with injections or carrying her if needed. I can also administer oral medication. I’m a full-time student in high school so I am mainly available after school (around 3) on weekdays and can be full-time on the weekends. Unfortunately, I am not available for overnight sitting. I can apply medicine and pretty much anything else needed! I promise to love your pets just as much as you do and will ensure their safety at all times.
“Alana has been amazing with my dog Birdie every day over the past few weeks as I’ve been injured and couldn’t walk. She’s also walked my foster dog previously as well! Alana is punctual, she sends great updates, she’s so kind, and you can tell she has a love for animals — and you can tell my dog loves her too! Looking forward to future dog walking services with Alana and would highly recommend her to care for your pets!”

“My experience with Brooke was outstanding. She provided wonderful care for my dog while I was out of town. I will book with Brooke again and again five star all the way. Great communication and reliable, response to any questions or concerns quickly.”

About: I have had a love for animals my whole life! I am very experienced with what is needed to make your babies feel loved + cared for! I am available to board anytime during the week and weekends! I will be available for early morning or late evenings pick up and drop offs + being home during the day so your animals have that quality time! I have multiple dog parks and a Shitzu Poodle to keep your animals company! Also, I allow animals to freely roam but if a crate is needed, I have one myself!
About: I’ve always been around animals since a kid, and honestly love them more than most humans half the time. My own pet is like my daughter, not “just a pet,” and I care for every animal with that same love, patience, and respect. I have hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and small animals, including feeding, walking, crating, administering oral medications, monitoring behavior, and maintaining routines to keep pets calm and comfortable while their owners are away. Training my own pet has taught me a lot about trust, communication, and positive reinforcement — and I’m happy to work on fun tricks or enrichment with your pet too! I work from home, so my schedule is super flexible — I can come and go as needed for walks, drop-ins, or daytime stays. I’m happy to spend several hours with your pets to make sure they’re comfortable and cared for. I can even pop by during the night if needed, even late! I just don’t do full overnight stays since I have my own fur baby at home who needs me too, but I’ll make sure your pets get plenty of love and attention while I’m there. I treat every pet like my own — with patience, love, and consistency. I follow their normal routines for feeding, walks, and playtime to help them feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection, and I always keep things clean, safe, and calm. Whether it’s my dog or another client’s fur baby, I focus on keeping them happy, healthy, and cared for like family.
About: I have had a dog all of my life and I couldn’t imagine my life without one! I use to dog sit a lot when I was younger and even had my own dog walking business. Throughout high school I use to volunteer at shelters to help clean cages and play with the dogs and cats since they don’t get as much interaction. When I attended college I was apart of the Paws and Claws club! I also worked at a boarding/daycare facility called little playhouse. I am very flexible with my schedule. I do work a 5–6 hour shift in Smyrna about four times a week, but outside of that I’m fully dedicated to caring for your pets. I make sure to plan around my pet-sitting commitments so your animals still get consistent attention, exercise, and companionship. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect and care I would give my own. I stick to the pet’s established routine, keep everything tidy, and make sure they receive their walks, feeding, medication (if needed), and attention right on schedule. I give regular updates, photos, and communicate anything I notice so you always feel connected and reassured.
About: I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for my community since I was 10 years old. Neighbors have long relied on me for everything from overnight stays to behavioral reinforcement, trusting me to keep their pets happy and their homes secure. Having raised and trained dogs since childhood, I understand that every pet has a unique personality. I pride myself on being a calm, reliable presence for your dog, ensuring they get the exercise, nutrition, and affection they deserve while you’re away. I currently work fully remotely. I have a flexible schedule to take care of your pet. I will be flexible based on your needs and the needs of your pets. Please message me for further information. I am happy to help in any way possible. I have a fully fenced-in front and back yard. I am happy to play with your pets in your yard or and dog park. I am aware of the dog respiratory virus right now. I am constantly monitoring it for my pet and your own. I will prioritize the safety of the animals during this period of time.

About: I’ve spent years fostering pets of all ages and temperaments in the Atlanta and Athens areas, giving me hands-on experience with everything from playful puppies to senior pets. I also have experience working in a veterinary setting, so I’m comfortable recognizing health concerns and following care instructions closely. Friends, family, and repeat clients trust me for reliable walking, feeding, bathing, and attentive, compassionate care. I’m between graduate programs right now, which gives me a flexible, open schedule. I’m able to plan my days around the pets in my care, so they get plenty of attention and consistency. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to keep pets comfortable in their own space. I stick to their normal routine, give them lots of attention and affection, and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away.
About: I have had cats and dogs since I was a child and have fostered and cared for several dogs to find them furever homes. I am currently owned by 3 cats. I have a flexible schedule to care for your pet. I love both dogs and cats and look forward to meeting your furbabies and caring for them. I am punctual and trustworthy, and I will take extra precautions to ensure your pet stays in whatever area/space they are supposed to be in.
Oakdale dog parents share their Rover experiences
Alana is not only an amazing dog walker (my dog is obsessed with her!). But she’s also an amazing human. I often foster dogs, and many of them can be very nervous and require specific instructions or often times, just have to figure it out as we go. But Alana is always willing to help out and test and learn on what works and what doesn’t for our fosters. She follows instructions well and is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure our fosters feel comfortable with her. It can be often chaotic with a new foster and a new routine, but she handles it with calmness and grace and I wouldn’t be able to foster dogs if it wasn’t for her! Thank you Alana for your help not only with my own dog, but helping the community as well by taking care of my foster dogs!!!

Rebecca helped me with recurring visits when my work was busy and she was such a huge help! She was flexible with my schedule each week and very reliable. She took great care of my dog and was very friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend her to a friend!

Carlos and Paula G were wonderful. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends. My dog loved them both. They kept me informed during their walks and they spent time with him after each walk. Thanks again for accepting my service request last minute and helping us out.

Anika seriously goes ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! She was so sweet to my BIG and hyper Weimaraner! She gave him all the attention, took him to his favorite park, provided multiple videos and pics and she even crammed us in to a busy schedule last minute!!!! Will be reaching out to Anika first for all future walks!!! Made my day so much happier and easier!

My dog’s experience with Khadija was wonderful. I reached out to her for dog walking / sitting services, as my day-to-day schedule doesn’t allow me to step away long enough to get my dog his much needed exercise. When she arrived, my excitable dog quickly calmed down and was ready to play and walk. She returned with a tired pup who enjoyed his time outside. My dog tried to follow her out when she left. I don’t know that I can give a stronger recommendation than that!
