About: I am a student with lots of flexibility in my schedule, and I love dogs, especially big dogs because I can match their adventurous energy. I have 5 years of experience walking and caring for neighbors and friends pets. My dog, Denali, is 13 years old and loves to go on walks and smell around every mailbox and flower! I have cared for him as he has grown from being young and active to now struggling to walk too far, so I have experience with all stages of life. I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am able to offer dog walking and stop by care anytime most days. I can also offer overnight care most nights. I am available to book for dog walking, stop by care, and overnight care! I am allergic to cats (unfortunately) so please no cats for overnight stays.

I often foster dogs, and many of them can be very nervous and require specific instructions or often times, just have to figure it out as we go. But Alana is always willing to help out and test and learn on what works and what doesn’t for our fosters. She follows instructions well and is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure our fosters feel comfortable with her. It can be often chaotic with a new foster and a new routine, but she handles it with calmness and grace and I wouldn’t be able to foster dogs if it wasn’t for her! About: I have had two dogs and one cat: an 11-year-old Bichon Frise, a Chihuahua who passed away at 17, and a cat who is now four and a half years old. I got my first dog when I was 11 years old, and from then on, I spent all of my allowance on my pets’ spay/neuter surgeries, routine checkups, treats, and supplements. I have an unusual amount of patience when it comes to animals, because I grew up in a family that truly loves them. I also have a lot of experience caring for very young pets under two months old, as well as experience being around large dogs. My work schedule is three days in the office and two days remote, so I have plenty of time to do the part time job during the week. When I take care of pets, I focus not only on their physical needs, but also on making sure they feel emotionally cared for. I like to keep a regular routine for them every day, including dedicated playtime and treat time. I also often buy them new toys and talk to them about my day, even though they may not fully understand.

About: I grew up with cats and adopted a rescue dog of my own in 2023. I have also worked at a Dog Daycare facility in Atlanta as a back of house attendant and have cared for every type of dog from a Frenchie to a German Shepard! Through that experience, I have become accustomed to dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperament. I am such a pet person and get along with every animal I meet! I have experience handling and navigating dog obedience and behavioral training, leash reactivity and dog reactivity training. I can handle any walk, long or short, and live a very active lifestyle. Should your dog or cat need an individualized experience, I am happy to provide space for that. I work full time during the week from 9-5. I have plenty of time after work for dog walks and am fully available on the weekends (and certain holidays), to walk, watch or house sit with your pets! I walk my own dog three times each day and live walking distance to the Beltline, quiet side streets, Old Fourth Ward park and the O4W dog park for plenty of exercise! I live in an apartment with my dog Wallaby! I am very attentive and will make sure your pets are fed, watered, and cared for on their schedule - not mine. Whether it’s a walk or house sitting, I will make your pet my top priority and am happy to provide 1-1 individualized attention!
