About: As active Rover sitter since 2023, I want to make your pet feel comfortable and happy in their own home! My job is to care/love for them as I would my own pet. I am open to take care of your pet(s) anytime between 8am -8pm any day of the week. Only reason I would decline is if your location is out of my range or I am fully booked that day. I can’t have your pet come to my home but happy to continue with any rules you have created for your pet in your home.

About: Hi! I’m Cabby, a remote HR professional living in a cozy townhome near Midtown/Old Fourth Ward. I’ve loved dogs since I was 7 (yes, I even had a puppy-themed room 😄). I grew up with my chow chow, Deogee, and spent my school years helping neighbors walk and care for their dogs. That passion carried into college and beyond. After moving to Chicago, I volunteered for 3 years at PAWS Animal Shelter, working in their medical center. I walked dogs, provided enrichment, and cared for pups with all kinds of personalities. I also earned a beginner training certification focused on handling reactive and more reserved dogs. One of my biggest strengths is reading dog body language and helping each pup feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule and can give your dog plenty of attention, updates, and care while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your pup! I work fully remote! I currently live alone in a townhome near midtown/old fourth ward. I don’t have any kids or pets of my own (although I would love a puppy of my own someday maybe by the end of this year!) Outside of my remote work, I love to go on long walks on the betline, learning Spanish remotely through lessons, and I enjoy practicing and playing music. Overall, my schedule is flexible enough to fit your needs! I live in a condo building that is extremely pet friendly. It’s a gated community that includes a dog walking path. Due to my flexible daily schedule, I am also open and eager to offer my services at your residence as well for as long as needed. I have a reliable SUV if transportation is needed as well!

“Grace was great with our pup Beacon. She was very patient with him and can tell she truly loves dogs. She took him on a good walk and provided us with plenty of updates. We look forward to having Grace walk Beacon in the future!”

“I’m so pleased with how Jazmyn took care of my pup. She communicated frequently and was super responsive to my needs. He warmed up to her very quickly. I will be booking her for weekly walks and drop-ins.”

About: I’ve taken care of friends and family members’ dogs for the past 10 years going on walks, playing, and feeding them. I also grew up with my own dogs, 2 of them being golden retrievers and my last dog being a mini labradoodle. I work in the film industry and am currently in between projects right now so I can be flexible and spend as much time as needed with your pup! I respect you and your pets’ space and know that your pup may need time to get used to a new person. My mini labradoodle was an anxious dog so I know when to allow them their space but also show them they can trust me.
“Amirah was excellent with Prince booked her last minute due to last minute meetings scheduled for my partner and I. She responded very quickly promptly and took him on a great 30 minute walk they got him extremely tired. We definitely book her again.”

Virginia-Highland dog parents share their Rover experiences
We love Laurel! She has been so reliable and helpful with caring for our dog. If she has a conflict, she goes above and beyond to find alternative options. Her training knowledge is incredible and has helped reinforce positive habits for our dog! Would highly recommend!

Georga is great and my dogs loved the time and cuddles they spent with her! She was amazing with my timid pup and my very enthusiastic/loud pup. She was awesome about sending updates and playing with both my pups and cats! I really appreciate all the care Georga took of them and I felt great knowing they were with her.

Caroline was booked on a last minute booking and was extremely accommodating. She came over a few days before hand to meet my pup and allow them to become acclimated to each other during their walk. Caroline was very communicative and responsive to my inquiries as well.

Rebecca helped me with recurring visits when my work was busy and she was such a huge help! She was flexible with my schedule each week and very reliable. She took great care of my dog and was very friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend her to a friend!

Alyssa was absolutely amazing! I needed a last-minute dog walker and she came through without hesitation. She was super responsive, professional, and clearly great with dogs. I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in good hands. She kept me updated and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I would definitely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker!

My dog was being weird and not letting him put a leash on her. She kept running away. I told Timo to leave and not to worry about it. He didn’t. He sat patiently for 30 minutes and waited for my dog to warm up to him. And took her out. Just an awesome dog walker who went above and beyond when he didn’t have to. Showed immense care and initiative.

Mary was phenomenal with Cavu! She was very accommodating to his needs and the communication was easy and consistent. Cavu can be a little particular and she handled him with patience and care. Would 100% book with her again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable sitter!

Pierre had a great walk today with my pups! He was incredibly communicative about scheduling, which made everything such a breeze. And he even sent pictures and a video while the pups were out for their stroll. We look forward to working with Pierre more in the future!

Our new dog Kiko has been pretty skiddish so we were nervous to have a new person come by to let her out while we’re at work. Cori Lynn has been great with her and even came by for a meet and greet beforehand to let Kiko get more comfortable with her. She’s been very patient with Kiko and has slowly been able to gain more trust. You can tell Cori Lynn loves animals and respects their boundaries, but also knows how to handle them. She’s been very communicative and would definitely recommend her as a dog walker!
