Recently made my home in Atlanta after living in NYC, LA, India and Thailand! I spent my childhood volunteering at local shelters and farms, and caring for all sorts of animals from goats and cows to puppies and turtles. I have fostered dogs and cats of all ages, including those that needed regular medications or walks. Now, I’m looking to help pet owners have more flexibility by providing trust-worthy cat/dog sitting. I would love sharing pictures of the pets I’m sitting so you know your fur-kids are in good hands! I have a flexible schedule and happy to provide further services for your pets as needed! Please reach out with any questions.

I own a townhome with plenty of greenery around for walks in nature and around our lake, and tons of trails for a little more adventure. We have room for crates, but most animals are pretty comfortable roaming around the home. Prior to visiting my clients’ homes, I appreciate clear instructions to follow. I’m comfortable working within agreed upon boundaries and adjusting my approach to each pet, since no two of their personalities are the same ☺️

I feel so lucky to have found Maya! She watched my 18 year old pup Diego for a long weekend at my home and I was absolutely at ease with her caring for him the whole time. She really took the time to get to know my old guy, establish trust, followed all my “decrepit senior dog with a tiny bit of dementia” protocols, and sent detailed updates morning and evening with a ton of pics. She took great care of my home, and most importantly I arrived to a happy pup!! So appreciative to have found someone so lovely - thank you!!!

Maya was AMAZING!! My 13-week-old German Shepherd puppy, Nina, loved her from the moment they met. Taking care of a puppy that young is no small task, and Maya gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She even left my home cleaner than she found it! Maya will absolutely be my go-to whenever I travel. So grateful to have found someone I can trust with my girl ❤️
Maya is the most caring and thoughtful person ever and I was so lucky to have had her help in watching my older diabetic dog. I felt truly at ease while he was in her care as she provided me with many pictures and updates and was completely reliable and communicative. Maya is highly recommended by me and I am just so happy to have found her.

Schedule
I have plenty of time to sit and play with dogs and cats! I’m pretty active and enjoy taking them on walks and jogs if they’re young and fit enough.
