About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and temperaments and currently raise both a senior dog and a puppy, so I understand the different needs each stage requires. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, medication (if needed), walks, crate training, and providing a calm, loving environment. I treat every pet like my own and prioritize safety, communication, and reliability. I have a flexible schedule and prioritize pet care daily since I have dogs of my own. I’m available for weekday mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends for walks or drop-ins. I can also provide boarding whenever it is needed. I provide a structured, safe, and attentive environment. My home has a fully fenced yard and two well-socialized dogs. I supervise all playtime, separate pets when necessary, and follow feeding, medication, and exercise routines carefully. Cleanliness, security, and communication are extremely important to me, and I provide regular updates with photos for peace of mind.
About: As a dedicated pet caregiver, I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I understand that leaving your furry friend with someone else requires trust, which is why I focus on providing reliable care, plenty of attention, and regular updates for peace of mind. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and my commitment to making each pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or sticking to their routine, I’ll make sure your pet receives personalized care every step of the way. I also have no problems with commuting as I have my own car, so distance isn’t an issue for me. Right now I’m working freelance for myself so my schedule is open caring for your fur baby. I’m up for discussing a personalized regular walk or sit schedule as well! Right now I’m moving from an apartment back into a home (I’ll be done with that moving process by mid July) with adequate yard space to run around for exercise. I would make sure they would get plenty of outside and play time before bedtime with adequate potty breaks as well. For pet sitting in your home; I’d take on care as closely as I could to how you do things on the regular!
“Couldn’t be happier with Emma coming to take care of our new puppy! She’s very responsive, on time, and everything our little guy needed as we transitioned back to work after his adoption! Couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Enakshi was amazing! She was sweet and attentive, had excellent communication, and was truly wonderful to work with. She took great care of our cat and even went the extra mile by watering our plants, grabbing our mail, and cleaning up a bit of cat puke without us even asking. We’d absolutely book with her again!”

About: I’ve had animals of all sorts since I was a kid. My own senior cat I’ve taken care of since she was a kitten. While cats are my specialty, I still have plenty of experience taking care of dogs, especially pitbulls — they’ve always been a big part of the family. As the eldest, I’ve been responsible for training the puppies/kittens as well as building and sticking to routine I’m currently unemployed so I have a wide open schedule to take care of pets. I’ll also be more flexible with last minute appointments. Currently, I stay in student housing so I most likely will not be offering pet care in my own home. I may ask a friend whom I trust if I can stay at theirs with your pet if it’s needed (they don’t own pets and are hardly home). In your home, I will follow any rules that you have set.

Olja is great! My wife and I had complete peace of mind knowing our cat was in such good hands while we were on vacation. It was clear he was well cared for, and we truly appreciated the attention and care he received. We wouldn’t hesitate to trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable pet care.

Ahron was great. He watched our cat while we were out of the country and was extremely communicative through the time zones, always came on time, and would send us cute pics and videos at each visit. We also had an issue with the wifi - affecting our automatic litterbox, which he trouble shooted in real time. I cannot reccomend him enough!
Nicole did such a great job with my two cats and hamster while I was away. We just moved to a new area so could no longer rely on our usual pet sitter who now lives too far away, but Nicole made me feel so reassured that my babies were in good hands. Nicole sent updates and pictures every day and was very communicative throughout the whole visit. It is clear Nicole has a true passion for animals and I will absolutely reach out to book again in the future when I need care for my babies. Thanks again Nicole!!

I cannot recommend highly enough. Andrea took such wonderful care of my cats!! She brought cat treats that helped with digestion and coat, brought toys, and even left the place cleaner than I had left it- to name just a few things. Andrea loves animals and is very intentional and caring about her work. I trust her and feel it is my good luck that I came across her profile. Again, cannot recommend highly enough.

Darley was amazing with my cat crew. She was superb with communication, followed all the instructions, handled the medication expertly and gave them as much love as they wanted. When the key fob stopped working, she chatted with the concierge to get it fixed. You will be lucky to have her check in on your animals.

Emily was an absolute lifesaver for my bonded brothers, Reggie and Dexter! This was my first time leaving them since adopting them from a rescue, and given their background as feral kittens, I was incredibly nervous. Emily was amazing. She became fast friends with Reggie right away. While Dexter was too timid to interact, Emily respected his space while still going out of her way to ensure he was fully cared for. The daily photo updates and detailed notes completely put my mind at ease. I will absolutely be booking with her again!

Hannah is super communicative, caring, and dependable - and always shares great photos from her visits! She went above and beyond to help when a storm knocked out my cats’ auto-feeder between drop-ins. So happy to have her checking in on my cats when I was away and will def book with her again in the future!

Vivian was very communicative and when my building was under construction and our key handoff arrangement changed she was flexible and helped me figure out alternatives to our original arrangement. She sent detailed check-in cards. Everything she did with my cat and any she followed all my instructions perfectly and took a lot of photos and notes on the visit. Thank you Vivian!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Atlanta. On Rover:

- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
