“Emilie was so responsive, thoughtful & efficient, and sent the best photos and updates throughout her drop-ins for our cats! We couldn’t have asked for a better first cat sitter through Rover & couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Scar was amazing and even when there was an incident they were so patient and kind. I can’t thank them enough for their support and all the loving and extra pets my fur baby received while I was away! Sapphire and I thank you!! 🩷”
“Chimere was very good at communicating about petsitting both before and during the period of time she was taking care of our two cats--one who needs twice daily insulin injections. They were quite content when we came home, and we've already arranged for Chimere to come take care of our cats again in a few weeks!”

“Renee was such a pleasant and responsible petsitter. She took great care of my cats and always gave detailed updates, and she went above and beyond at keeping their living spaces tidy and clean. I made a mistake in the booking dates too, but she took care of fixing it and was very kind and understanding. I highly recommend her!”

“Gumby always has the best time with Brandi when I travel! He was so happy to have a friend stopping by to spend time and play with him, and I came home to a very happy cat. I will recommend Brandi over and over again!”

“Grace took great care of my cat, Camilla, during four days of drop-in visits. She was reliable, communicative, and sent regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Grace genuinely enjoys spending time with cats, and she quickly bonded with Camilla. She even told me that Camilla was one of her favorite cats she has cared for. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat and would gladly book Grace again.”

“Joey was the so kind and responsive and put us at ease as a first time rover user. We got lots of sweet pictures of our husky while we were at a wedding. Dove stars!”

“John was great with my dogs! He was patient with my 110 lbs shy bernedoodle to win her over. He went above and beyond and put up with senior dogs spite pooping in the house.”

“Amazing pet sitter! He sent pics and detailed reports every check in. My cat was in great hands with him. He was even able to give my cat his meds. 10/10 recommend Remington to take care of your fur babies.”

About: Growing up with dogs big and small, I know how different each pup's personality can be. I love long walks and playtime for dogs with higher energy, and I've been trusted to care for a variety of different pets by friends and neighbors since I could drive. From bottle-feeding my rescue kitten to caring for senior pups who have lost function of their limbs, I understand the unique needs of each animal and the importance of their individual routines. I'm currently working part-time, so my schedule is very flexible, and I am able to accommodate last minute appointments and I am available weekends. I'm comfortable caring for crated and uncrated dogs. Given the Georgia heat in the summer, I know a lot of dogs can get uncomfortable, so I always pay attention to body language and carry water with me in case we need a break when having outside time.
“Samantha was great with Hank while I was out of town. She provided such great communication with me about the daily check ins, plus very cute pictures. Definitely will be staying in touch for future requests and thanks so much!”

“Stacy did a great job taking care of our cat while we were away. She did everything we asked and was very pleasant to communicate with. I would happily trust her to take care of our pets again next time we are away.”

“Another fun visit with Maria! Bentley and Maria have clearly bonded. He was happy to see her and enjoyed cuddles and belly rubs. Maria even thought to put dog shows on the tv to keep him company until I got home. Thank you Maria - we will see you again soon!”

Morgan was incredible! She took great care of both my cats. One of my cats is very anxious and is on medication. Morgan did a great job with the meds and my anxious cat opened up to her right away! She sent many pictures and wrote detailed updates about them at each visit! I will continue to book with her 100%!

Nancy has been absolutely wonderful as a sitter for our kitten these past few weeks. She is always timely, communicative, and proactive with our little menace of a kitten. She truly is someone who loves what she does, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose her to be our sitter. 100/10 would recommend.

Olja was great! Super responsive and attentive. During one of her visits, she noticed that my water fountain was malfunctioning and she filled up a side bowl of water and troubleshooted my water fountain. Exactly the peace of mind that a pet owner would want while traveling

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodland Hills. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
