“Emily was amazing! One of our cats takes a moment to warm up to new people and she took it easy with him and he warmed up really well. She kept the litter boxes clean and tidy while we were away and sent plenty of update photos!”

About: I’ve personally taken care of kittens and senior cats and have been walking dogs and pet sitting for neighbors and friends since I was 10. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and I also have some experience with shy/reactive dogs. I’m happy to follow your pets routines and put their safety and wellbeing above all else. I’m currently studying Biology at GCSU, but I’m home for the summer. I currently have 2 cats at home and I treat them like part of my family. I always make sure that they eat on schedule and that their fountain water is clean and fresh to maintain hydration. I’ll treat all pets like my own and I’m very excited to meet some new friends! I just finished up my sophomore year of college and am currently applying for jobs. My schedule is very open until June 8th, so I’m happy to find a date and time that caters to your schedule. I do have a fenced backyard, although I’d prefer to care for pets at their home where they are most comfortable or care for them outside of the home.
“Jessica was AMAZING!!! She came with such short notice and really gave me so much relief while I was away from home and had another pet sitter cancel:( So beyond grateful for her !”

“Jazmyn was so kind to my lab/pit mix. He is a bigger and stronger dog so I was worried about leaving him to a sitter for the first time, but Jazmyn kept him active and calm while we were away.”

“Olja was amazing. I had peace of mind leaving my cat because I knew she would take the best care of her. My cat was happy and my house was left so clean. Highly recommend!!”

“Ryan is great with our dog Wylder. He drops in over the weekend and takes him for walks/potty breaks. He sends photos of him playing and info on what they did. Wylder definitely seems happier and calmer since Ryan has been dropping in.”

“Maria has been very helpful in a last minute situation. She is great with cats and communicates before and after her visits extremely well. I have no complaints and am thankful she was able to help me and the cats!”

“Samantha was amazing! She took great care of my cats and sent daily updates and pictures. Her attention to detail and love for animals truly shows. I came home to relaxed, well-fed kitties. Highly recommend her services to any cat owner!”

“Trish did an excellent job watching Radar while I was away. Pictures and updates were thorough and timely! I would use her again in a heartbeat! Plus, Radar actually came out for scratches and pets which means she has good pet energy.”

About: I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all pet care. After 16 years caring for my own dog through every stage of life, I learned that every dog has their own personality, quirks, and needs. I take the time to understand your dog’s routine, preferences, and comfort level so they receive thoughtful, individualized care and feel safe, happy, and at home while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, allowing me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. My apartment community also has plenty of green space, making it easy to give dogs regular outdoor time and exercise while keeping them on a consistent routine. Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home or yours, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any special preferences to help your dog feel comfortable and secure. In my home, dogs also have access to a dog-proofed balcony where they can safely relax and enjoy fresh air under my supervision. I’ll provide regular photo and video updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

Remington took wonderful care of my dog and cat while I was away, and I came home to happy, well-cared-for animals. He provided lots of photos and summaries. I really appreciated the updates because they gave me peace of mind throughout my trip and I’ll definitely be booking again.

We get very excited to see the pictures Cindy sends us! She captures their personalities. We have a blind cat, a deaf cat with health problems and she does a great job of caring for them. She goes above and beyond. She takes the time to wash their water bowls every time. We couldn’t do it without her!!! Thank you Cindy for loving our fur babies so much!
Stacie was amazing! She went above and beyond caring for our cat. She was incredibly communicative, always responsive, and I could tell she and Santi had so much fun together. She was very caring and attentive to every detail of his care, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend her! 😊

10/10. Exceptional service!! THANK YOU Melissa. Every aspect has been top-drawer. From communication and pre-meet, to daily photos and videos, to care of our cats. House was left very clean, and the cats were looking very healthy and happy on our return. We would use Melissa again, and will be highly recommending to neighbors. Thanks again, Melissa!
Georga did a wonderful job caring for our dog and 2 cats while we were out of town for a week. Our pets got along well with her, even our more shy cat who warmed up to her quickly. She let us know how each pet was doing after each visit, followed the instructions for each one, and kept their areas tidy. We would definitely recommend her and be happy to have her drop in on them again!

Renee did a fantastic job watching my two cats for 12 days! I was very nervous to use Rover as it was my first time, and the longest I had ever left my cats. Renee went above and beyond by completing a meet and greet before the booking, and took extensive notes on each step of pet care that we required. During the booking she sent multiple pictures for each visit as well as notes about how they were doing. She also stayed longer than the booked time during multiple visits. Upon return my cats seemed very content and looked well taken care of. I would definitely recommend and would rebook in the future if needed!

Morgan was absolutely wonderful with our three kitties! She took such great care of them, brushing them, giving them lots of love and attention, and making sure they felt comfortable while we were away. It was clear they adored her, they completely fell in love with her! Knowing they were so well cared for gave us such peace of mind. We highly recommend Morgan to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and loving pet sitter. We'll definitely be booking her again!

We had an amazing experience! Our cat, Juniper, was so well cared for while we were away, and it made our vacation so much more enjoyable knowing he was in such good hands. We received lots of photos and updates, and it was clear he was happy and comfortable the entire time. It was such a relief coming home to a happy, relaxed cat. We've already recommended her to our friends and will absolutely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodland Hills. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
