“Grace was amazing! She did everything I asked of her, even putting TV on for my cats to listen to while we were away. She sent great photos and was super communicative the whole time. She even got my nervous skittish kitten to come out for photos! I would 1000% recommend her to pet sit for anyone who needs it. Thanks Grace!”

“This was our first time using Rover - Megan was outstanding!! She made us feel super comfortable by doing a quick meet and greet first. She also wrote thorough reviews and sent great photos throughout the weekend. We would absolutely use her again. Highly recommend!!”

“Ryan is great with our dog Wylder. He drops in over the weekend and takes him for walks/potty breaks. He sends photos of him playing and info on what they did. Wylder definitely seems happier and calmer since Ryan has been dropping in.”

“Caitlyn has been a blessing . Bubbles is a 7yerar old dog and won’t walk with almost any dog walker but with Caitlyn , she walks so easily . I’m so impressed by her and couldn’t recommend her enough”
“She was absolutely amazing! She responded fast and was able to take care of my puppy last minute which saved me haha. She is just the sweetest! She took amazing care of him and updated me a bunch! She followed instructions and treated him like her own. She did a perfect job and I’d love for her to watch him again! Thank you so much, Emilie!”

“Samantha was amazing! She took great care of my cats and sent daily updates and pictures. Her attention to detail and love for animals truly shows. I came home to relaxed, well-fed kitties. Highly recommend her services to any cat owner!”

About: I’ve personally taken care of kittens and senior cats and have been walking dogs and pet sitting for neighbors and friends since I was 10. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and I also have some experience with shy/reactive dogs. I’m happy to follow your pets routines and put their safety and wellbeing above all else. I’m currently studying Biology at GCSU, but I’m home for the summer. I currently have 2 cats at home and I treat them like part of my family. I always make sure that they eat on schedule and that their fountain water is clean and fresh to maintain hydration. I’ll treat all pets like my own and I’m very excited to meet some new friends! I just finished up my sophomore year of college and am currently applying for jobs. My schedule is very open until June 8th, so I’m happy to find a date and time that caters to your schedule. I do have a fenced backyard, although I’d prefer to care for pets at their home where they are most comfortable or care for them outside of the home.
“Zhiyu is the best, and I highly recommend her! She took care of my fur baby like I would. I will definitely call on Zhiyu to take care of my cat when I travel again.”

“Danielle is amazing! She truly goes the extra mile to ensure the most pleasant visit for your fur baby. Danielle is extremely sweet and accommodating with your needs. I would 100% trust my baby, mardi, with her during my next trip. 😁”

“Ella has excellent customer service. Stella, my youngest cat needs a lot of customized attention. Ella was patient, and took great care of her. She was flexible to accomodate my requests and worked with me to ensure Stella was fine. I am relief to have found someone I can trust while I am away from home.”

Darley was amazing with my cat crew. She was superb with communication, followed all the instructions, handled the medication expertly and gave them as much love as they wanted. When the key fob stopped working, she chatted with the concierge to get it fixed. You will be lucky to have her check in on your animals.

Emily was an absolute lifesaver for my bonded brothers, Reggie and Dexter! This was my first time leaving them since adopting them from a rescue, and given their background as feral kittens, I was incredibly nervous. Emily was amazing. She became fast friends with Reggie right away. While Dexter was too timid to interact, Emily respected his space while still going out of her way to ensure he was fully cared for. The daily photo updates and detailed notes completely put my mind at ease. I will absolutely be booking with her again!

Grace is the absolutely ✨ BEST ✨ my baby scar is usually shy and will hang out in the bedroom if people are over so I thought that is what he would do this weekend when Grace checked in on him. NOPE! That boy decided he loved Grace! He greeted her at the door, showed her his belly, asked for pets, played, etc. && I absolutely LOVE to see it! Grace was very communicative through out her check ins and took care of scar as if he was her own. Grace, you have a forever client with me. Thank you again for taking such great care of scar this weekend. 🙏🏼🤍

Hannah is super communicative, caring, and dependable - and always shares great photos from her visits! She went above and beyond to help when a storm knocked out my cats’ auto-feeder between drop-ins. So happy to have her checking in on my cats when I was away and will def book with her again in the future!

Renee was such a pleasant and responsible petsitter. She took great care of my cats and always gave detailed updates, and she went above and beyond at keeping their living spaces tidy and clean. I made a mistake in the booking dates too, but she took care of fixing it and was very kind and understanding. I highly recommend her!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodland Hills. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
