“John was incredible! He went above and beyond to ensure my doggy was taken care of and also helped with some of her training as well. We can’t wait to work with him again 😁”

“Renee is great! She’s punctual, communicative and my dog loved her at first meet!! She’s been walking my pup for a couple weeks now and we’re already scheduled for more. Highly recommend her! :)”

“Scar jumped in and did a last minute walk for us. They were proactive making sure they knew where to pick our pup up. They communicated well and were on time. Nice pics too. Will book again.”

“Bryan has done an amazing job walking my dog, Moose, while I have to go into the office. He is punctual, a great communicator, and always sends plenty of pup pics during bookings. I highly recommend Bryan for all your pet needs!”

“Talya was truly incredible with my baby Royce! I was nervous about using a dog sitter, especially because my dog is very strong, has lots of energy, and takes a while to get used to some people...but Talya and Royce got along great from the start! She was always timely and sent pictures during walks. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter.”
About: I have had two dogs and one cat: an 11-year-old Bichon Frise, a Chihuahua who passed away at 17, and a cat who is now four and a half years old. I got my first dog when I was 11 years old, and from then on, I spent all of my allowance on my pets’ spay/neuter surgeries, routine checkups, treats, and supplements. I have an unusual amount of patience when it comes to animals, because I grew up in a family that truly loves them. I also have a lot of experience caring for very young pets under two months old, as well as experience being around large dogs. My work schedule is three days in the office and two days remote, so I have plenty of time to do the part time job during the week. When I take care of pets, I focus not only on their physical needs, but also on making sure they feel emotionally cared for. I like to keep a regular routine for them every day, including dedicated playtime and treat time. I also often buy them new toys and talk to them about my day, even though they may not fully understand.
About: I grew up with all kinds of different pets in my life, from birds, to turtles, gerbils, a rabbit and of course cats and dogs. I love animals & I would love to watch your babies for you while you’re away! I’m currently on the hunt for a full time gig. I’m super flexible with feeding times & letting your pets out due to this! I do not watch animals from my own home, but always take the utmost care of the pets I watch, in addition to their owner’s home!
About: Dogs make my world go round! My current dog, Lucy is a pitbull mix that we adopted in New Orleans. She is a sweet, big girl with a lot more energy than my previous dog, a husky/greyhound mix from New York. I grew up with dogs and I understand how to take care of a diverse range of breeds, needs, and personalities. I love to walk dogs, play, cuddle, take them to the dog park, and more! I am experienced in caring for different dog breeds with different needs. I am here to make your pet care easier! I am a young professional with free time on weekends and weeknights. On virtual work days, I have more flexibility, which is reflected on my profile! I am comfortable walking your dog and caring for them in any way which works best for them. If they like dog parks, I can take them too. I am unable to board dogs or take them to my own home.
“Jiayue is amazing! She and her boyfriend take excellent care of our two Aussies! While I was recovering from a hiking injury, they walked Piper & Gypsy for eight days. They were punctual and the dogs loved spending the hour each day with them. Dogs each have their own personality and it takes a special person(s) to understand and adapt to the dog and its eccentricities. Jiayue has an intuitive knowledge of how it works and our dogs love her as a result. Thank you Jiayue!”
“Breckyn was a lifesaver when I ended up in a pinch over a weekend. We were able to schedule a meet & greet super quickly, and she left thorough notes about each walk. She even pointed out an overgrown claw + sent pictures of my cats too. Really put me at ease! Thanks so much!”

“Viva truly understands dogs. She absolutely adores them, and they absolutely adore her!!! She exudes positive energy. She asks thoughtful, thorough questions and communicates really well. With Viva, you know your precious dog is in the best possible hands ❤️”

“Anika is great! I had some issues at work this week that I wasn’t able to be by my phone and she was able to creatively find a solution so my pup could have a walk and visit with her. We are eternally grateful!”

“Brooke is awesome!!! She is so sweet and easy to work with. I love that I know my dog is genuinely being loved on and given lots of attention. I’m so grateful for her!”

“Georga is great and my dogs loved the time and cuddles they spent with her! She was amazing with my timid pup and my very enthusiastic/loud pup. She was awesome about sending updates and playing with both my pups and cats! I really appreciate all the care Georga took of them and I felt great knowing they were with her.”

“Laurel is the absolute best! We will hire her whenever our pup Ruby needs a walk when we’re traveling or need someone to jump in to help. Ruby absolutely loves Laurel and always looks like she has the best time with her, coming home so happy and satisfied and ready for her nap. Laurel is so communicative and fabulous. Thank you for everything, Laurel!!”

“Jessica was great with our pups! She went above and beyond just their walks, making sure everything was okay when arriving and before leaving. Highly recommend Jessica to help with your pups.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Woodland Hills
We are so grateful to have found Stephen and he was a joy to work with! He was super responsive, gave wonderful daily reports with the cutest pictures of our little baby having fun on her daily walks. He also gave her a lot of extra attention when back at home after walks, which she loved. Highly recommend!

Mikyah was absolutely amazing! This was my first time using Rover, and she completely exceeded my expectations. She was punctual, professional, and took such wonderful care of my Golden Retriever, Windsor. She followed every instruction perfectly, made sure Windsor got a great walk, and treated her with so much love and kindness. It gave me such peace of mind knowing Windsor was in caring, capable hands while I was away. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and it was clear that Mikyah genuinely loves animals. I came home to a happy, relaxed pup, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Mikyah to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable, and compassionate dog walker. I will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you, Mikyah, for taking such great care of my sweet Windsor! 🐾❤️

Lauren has been amazing with my dog, Chrissy! She is always reliable, on time, and spends quality time with her during every visit. Chrissy absolutely loves her, which says everything. Lauren has also gone above and beyond, helping me out with last-minute house sitting and always being incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. She’s communicative, dependable, and someone I completely trust with my dog. I couldn’t recommend her more for dog walking or pet sitting!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
