“Lauren has such a special way of getting to know your doggies, is a true professional, great communicator and it has been a pleasure working with her. We’ve already booked her twice and now in the future.”

“My puppy Nova is very energetic and loves to go on walks. Jordan really was able to tire her out and she came back a tired but happy puppy. I loved the updates and photos I got of her. I would recommend them to others and most likely use them again if I need someone to walk my pup.”

“Ilaria walked Donut twice this week, and I would happily book her again in the future. She arrived on time, walked Donut for a full 30 min, and I came home to a happy dog. Thanks, Ilaria!”

About: I have had two dogs and one cat: an 11-year-old Bichon Frise, a Chihuahua who passed away at 17, and a cat who is now four and a half years old. I got my first dog when I was 11 years old, and from then on, I spent all of my allowance on my pets’ spay/neuter surgeries, routine checkups, treats, and supplements. I have an unusual amount of patience when it comes to animals, because I grew up in a family that truly loves them. I also have a lot of experience caring for very young pets under two months old, as well as experience being around large dogs. My work schedule is three days in the office and two days remote, so I have plenty of time to do the part time job during the week. When I take care of pets, I focus not only on their physical needs, but also on making sure they feel emotionally cared for. I like to keep a regular routine for them every day, including dedicated playtime and treat time. I also often buy them new toys and talk to them about my day, even though they may not fully understand.

About: I am a dog enthusiast and a walking enthusiast. So naturally, dog-walking is the best of both worlds. As an aspiring dog-mom, I probably follow more dog accounts on social media than people. I am pretty sure golden retrievers are my spirit animal. I am new to the Atlanta area and I am excited to meet all your doggos and puppers. I take great pride in making sure that your dog is safe and happy. I grew up with dogs (Collie & Golden Retriever). During my time in Los Angeles & Chicago, I had the opportunity to dog walk/sit many different breeds of dogs. Dog walking is more than just a job to me - it really brings me a lot of joy to spend time with these rad dogs! I currently mostly work from home and create my own schedule and I also work a couple of afternoons per week at a local boutique. But mostly it’s just working from home at the moment I currently do not host dogs at my apartment. While I am at your home I make sure your dog is always on leash during walks. I usually avoid interacting other dogs while on walks to ensure there are no incidents. I like to ensure that your dog has proper stimulation and feels safe and loved.

“Brooke is the BEST!– Reliable, kind, and always there when you need her!I can’t say enough good things about Brooke!!! She’s been an absolute lifesaver—always on time, rain or shine, super reliable, and able to accommodate last-minute changes without any hassle. Communication is top-notch—she’s quick to respond, gives thorough updates after every walk, and genuinely makes me feel like I have a real support system for my dog. She’s also just a really nice, polite, and professional person, which makes a huge difference. I never had to worry because I knew my dog was in great hands, I let her keep keys of my place. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pup with care and always be there when you need them, she’s the one to call!”

“Can’t recommend Jennifer enough. So nice and took such good care of my dog. And was SO communicative and detailed about everything. 10/10 recommend, will definitely use Jennifer in the future”

About: With over 25 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes—from tiny lap dogs to energetic large breeds—I bring a calm and confident presence. Most of my experience comes from caring for my mom’s and friends’ dogs, which means I’ve built long-term trust and relationships through consist care. I’ve handled everything from overnight stays and long neighborhood walks to administering medications and managing feeding routines. I’m comfortable with all temperaments and energy levels, and I treat every dog like family. Whether your pup needs a playful companion or a gentle, attentive sitter, I adapt to their personality and routine. I currently work at restaurant and usually available most weekdays before 2 pm and after 10 pm. Most weekends I am available before 10 am and after 10 pm. I live in a dog friendly, gated community that also has a dog run. In your home, I respect your space and follow your instructions closely. I maintain your pet’s routine to minimize stress while you’re away. I keep things tidy, secure, and comfortable for your pet. I am happy to provide updates and transparent communication to ensure your pet is well cared for.
About: As I’ve grown up I’ve noticed that dealing with every day people can take a toll your emotions and mental well-being. However I’ve found that working with kids and animals allows a person to be true to the kid inside us all. What sets me aside is that I don’t look at children as incompetents, but as people who have feelings and thoughts like everybody else. I don’t see pets as toys you can buy at the store, but as animals who feel and want to live and experience like the everybody else. Hi! I'm new to the Atlanta area, but I'm settling in and would love to meet fellow dog lovers and build a community of friends here. I work as a server at Top Golf, mostly on weekends, and I'll always keep my calendar updated with my current availability. During the week, I'm available for mid-day walks and drop-in visits while you're at work, as well as early mornings if your schedule doesn't allow much flexibility. I also have my own transportation, so once everyone is comfortable, I'd love to take your pup on little adventures outside the home during the day. My weekend availability will vary with my work schedule, but I'll make sure my calendar reflects exactly when I'm free so there are no surprises. My own dog, Snow, currently lives with my grandparents back in my hometown while I get settled since I've been moving around and it's been hard to find pet-friendly spaces. She's a total sunshine girl! We used to go sit together in the park almost every day just to soak up some air and sun, hang out by the pool at my old complex, and go to the beach when time allowed. She's a bit of a bougie girl at heart, so a plain walk around the block was never satisfied her. I used to take my neighbor's dog with my own around our complex then to the park, twice a day on leash. Since Florida heat is no joke, I always stuck to grass instead of hot pavement and made sure they got water right after. For every client, friend, or family pet I care for, I do my best to follow whatever schedule or routine is already in place at home. I try not to deviate, since consistency is what keeps my fur friends most comfortable!

“Kahealani has been amazing with Deja these past few days. She truly cares about your dog and takes such great care of them. She’s also good at updating you about how your dog is doing. Her communication is 10/10! Will definitely be booking her again in the future!”

“Andrea is super nice and was amazing with our dog. Jack is sometimes not the easiest to get along with but Andrea made him feel like we hadn't even left. We will definetly be using Andrea in the future!!”

“Myrical has been an excellent walker for my dog Cash. She is reliable and communicative, and it puts my mind at ease knowing that my pup is in good hands while I can’t be home.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Druid Hills
Ruby was great with my Corgi! He likes to take his time on walks and stop to sniff everything, so I really appreciated that Ruby was patient with him and didn’t rush him. She gave him plenty of time to enjoy his walk and kept me updated with a photo. He came back happy and tired! I’d definitely have Ruby walk him again.

Lauren has been fantastic with Marv! He’s a reactive GSD with a food allergies, so not everyone’s cup of tea. She has been fantastic as I’ve had to text her book-long texts about his health or reactivity updates. She’s on time, consistent, and communicative. Highly recommend. Thanks Lauren!

Mary walked Donut three times this week and did an excellent job. Donut had previously had a bad experience with a different walker and was feeling wary around new people, but Mary was gentle with her and helped Donut build back her trust 😄 I'd happily book with Mary again in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
