“Megan did an incredible job - following instructions, sending cute photos and lovely messages to describe the visit - giving me great peace of mind during a long trip away. I will definitely be rebooking Megan in the future. Great job Megan! You are a life saver.”

“Melanie was fantastic with both our cats. Our skittish kitten opened up to her, as did our older cat. They were well fed, litter was good, and they were played with. Our cats were not super desperate to see us when we got back, which we take as a sign that they were in good hands.”

“Poornima took great care of our girl. She was timely and followed all of our instructions to a T. Riley was very excited to see her during each of her visits. We will absolutely be using her services again and highly recommend her.”

“Samantha was attentive and caring to our cat. Our cat quickly warmed up to her and had lots of fun with Samantha based on the photos during the visits. She also was very tidy and left our place in great condition to come back to.”

“Lauren was so sweet and attentive to our anxious senior Daisy. She took lots of pictures, messaged us with lots of details and was responsive to every text. Daisy also warmed up to her very quickly. Would definitely love to have Lauren take care of our girl any day.”

About: I’ve personally taken care of kittens and senior cats and have been walking dogs and pet sitting for neighbors and friends since I was 10. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and I also have some experience with shy/reactive dogs. I’m happy to follow your pets routines and put their safety and wellbeing above all else. I’m currently studying Biology at GCSU, but I’m home for the summer. I currently have 2 cats at home and I treat them like part of my family. I always make sure that they eat on schedule and that their fountain water is clean and fresh to maintain hydration. I’ll treat all pets like my own and I’m very excited to meet some new friends! I just finished up my sophomore year of college and am currently applying for jobs. My schedule is very open until June 8th, so I’m happy to find a date and time that caters to your schedule. I do have a fenced backyard, although I’d prefer to care for pets at their home where they are most comfortable or care for them outside of the home.
“Kamron was amazing, will definitely book again! He was very communicative and sent pics each visit, and two of my cats needed meds and he had no issue giving them (a pill, liquid oral med, and asthma inhaler). Highly recommend!”

“Manuela was an angel, she took great care of my two cats.. botj were very shy but she was very patient with them. She needed to administer medication to one of them ,, the toughest of the 2 and she was able to chase her all around to give her meds. Will definitely use her services again”

“Ella is the BEST. She is responsible, warm, thoughtful, and reliable. She took excellent care of our cat while we were away - I had total peace of mind that he was being lovingly cared for!”
“Virginia was very sweet with our Shipoo. She was very attentive and responsive, sending us photos every day of them playing. We will definitely use Virginia again in the future. Thank you!!”

“Stacy was fantastic! This was my first time using Rover so I was a bit nervous but Stacy made it easy and took great care of my cats. Will be re-booking her for my trip next month!”

“Krystal was so kind to check on my cats when I unexpectedly could not make it home from out of state. She is fast with communication and great with animals. Highly recommend!”

“Hanna did such a great job keeping our boys happy and healthy when we were away! She provided consistent updates and photos and left the place looking great. I felt very confident both cats were comfortable and it gave me peace of my mind while away. I’ll definitely reach out to Hanna again to check in on our boys and would highly recommend.”

“Ryan is great with our dog Wylder. He drops in over the weekend and takes him for walks/potty breaks. He sends photos of him playing and info on what they did. Wylder definitely seems happier and calmer since Ryan has been dropping in.”

“Jessica was amazing with my dogs! They can be challenging, and they absolutely love her! She is wonderful and provides time with each of my 3 dogs. She is extremely patient and affectionate! I will definitely ask her to watch them many more times in the future! Thank you so much!!!”

“Erin was very sweet to my three kitties and made sure they were taken care of each day! She shared pictures of them each day and gave me updates which were very sweet!”

“Stacie did a wonderful, wonderful job with the kittens. I was extremely nervous, as it was my first time getting a cat sitter, but we are extremely lucky Stacie was available. She is very thorough and kind. I would recommend her to any cat owner looking for someone to make a house visit.”
“Melissa was really great and communicative. This was my first time getting a sitter, and she was extremely patient, answering any concerns I had. She went above and beyond for my cat, helping her feel less lonely, cleaning her area, and refilling necessities. I will definitely book again when I go out of town!”

Hayley took great care of my fur babies. Both cats have special diets, and one takes several medications daily—including insulin. Hayley visited my house before we left town to meet us and see what feeding/medicine time looks like. She somehow even managed to make friends with my very scaredy-cat cat 😻 I definitely recommend her for cat sitting and will likely call on her again in the future!

Remington is such an amazing sitter! Incredibly kind and goes out of his way to help when he doesn’t have to. For example, my kitten smashed our glass soap dispenser in our sink and he (without hesitation) picked up all the pieces and tossed them to prevent any kitty injuries! I was recommended Remington by a friend who also had a great experience, and he definitely exceeded expectations! 10/10 recommend!!

Lauren was great with our 2 cats. During the initial visit she was very gentle and made an effort to become familiar with them. She also sent a follow up message that summarized everything that we discussed. It was very professional. She did a great job during the two visits and went above and beyond to make sure that the cats were taken care of. Highly recommended

Kali goes above and beyond as a pet sitter. Kali made my cat, Cora, feel safe, loved, and happy after one of my friends didn’t check on her the way I’d hoped. Kali plays and snuggles with your pet, cleans up messes, and is very communicative about any needs that arise. She also takes amazing photos—almost professional quality! Cora loves Kali, and we will definitely book with Kali again!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
