“Emilie is honestly the best! She’s incredibly easy to work with, is super friendly, and does a great job with my kitty! She always leaves detailed rover reports with lots of pictures and I know my baby is getting the best care and all the love when Emilie watches him!”
About: I know how important it is to trust someone with your dog, and I take that responsibility seriously. I'm dependable, patient, and attentive to each dog's unique personality and pace. Whether your dog loves a brisk walk, a sniff walk, or needs a little extra motivation, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I'll treat your dog like family, arrive on time, and provide photo updates and a summary after every walk so you know exactly how your pet is doing. My goal is to make every walk a positive, enjoyable experience that gives your dog exercise, enrichment, and plenty of attention. I'm currently working remotely and part-time, so my schedule is very flexible, and I have availability mornings, noon and late afternoons to care for your pets. I have a fenced-in yard, but I take pets for three structured walks during the day. Since it's summer and hot, I take them on a 1.4-mile walk in the morning and two shorter 10-minute walks at midday and late afternoon.

“Stacy did a wonderful job. Both of my cats took to her right away, and she was able to administer eye drops to the elderly one with ease. I'll definitely be using her again. Thank you Stacy!”

“Jessica was AMAZING!!! She came with such short notice and really gave me so much relief while I was away from home and had another pet sitter cancel:( So beyond grateful for her !”

About: I’ve personally taken care of kittens and senior cats and have been walking dogs and pet sitting for neighbors and friends since I was 10. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and I also have some experience with shy/reactive dogs. I’m happy to follow your pets routines and put their safety and wellbeing above all else. I’m currently studying Biology at GCSU, but I’m home for the summer. I currently have 2 cats at home and I treat them like part of my family. I always make sure that they eat on schedule and that their fountain water is clean and fresh to maintain hydration. I’ll treat all pets like my own and I’m very excited to meet some new friends! I just finished up my sophomore year of college and am currently applying for jobs. My schedule is very open until June 8th, so I’m happy to find a date and time that caters to your schedule. I do have a fenced backyard, although I’d prefer to care for pets at their home where they are most comfortable or care for them outside of the home.
“Melanie has been so wonderful to look after our cat, who is totally testy and needy, on multiple occasions when we are away. Melanie is very reliable and I can highly recommend her.”

“Lauren always exceeds every expectation. She wasn’t just feeding our cats, she spent quality time with them, sent tons of pictures and videos, kept us updated after every visit, and made sure everything in our home was taken care of. She even managed our automatic litter box, brought in deliveries, communicated about scheduling, and handled last-minute changes with incredible kindness. Coming home to relaxed, happy cats is the best review we could possibly give. We’ll continue booking Lauren whenever she’s available”

“Stacie is the best! This was our first night away from our pup and we knew he was in great hands. She gives great updates and sent a ton of pictures and we know Huck loved his time with her.”

“Really liked Erin when we met her during the meet & greet. And our kitties did, too - they came down right away and enjoyed getting pets from her. During scheduling and while we were away Erin was great with communication. She took good care of our babies - played with them, sent us pics of them & kept the litter clean. We’ll happily use Erin again!”

“Olja was a great caregiver for our cat Corn while we were away! She was kind, reliable, super friendly, and took amazing photos. It was a relief to know our guy was well taken care of - thank you again!”

“First time using Rover so I was nervous but Kamron put me right at ease. He was friendly and listened well to my instructions. My cats warmed up to him right away and one of my cats doesn’t like strangers. His daily notes and photos were great and each day I was away I felt at ease knowing they were in good hands I would highly recommend Kamron.”

“This was our first time using Rover - Megan was outstanding!! She made us feel super comfortable by doing a quick meet and greet first. She also wrote thorough reviews and sent great photos throughout the weekend. We would absolutely use her again. Highly recommend!!”

“Scar is simply the best. My two skittish kitties warmed up to them so quickly! Took excellent care of my babies, is always prompt and professional, with great communication. Very clear they love animals, and my kitties seem so comfortable with them. Will definitely keep booking as long as we can!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Druid Hills
Georga did a wonderful job caring for our dog and 2 cats while we were out of town for a week. Our pets got along well with her, even our more shy cat who warmed up to her quickly. She let us know how each pet was doing after each visit, followed the instructions for each one, and kept their areas tidy. We would definitely recommend her and be happy to have her drop in on them again!

Renee did a fantastic job watching my two cats for 12 days! I was very nervous to use Rover as it was my first time, and the longest I had ever left my cats. Renee went above and beyond by completing a meet and greet before the booking, and took extensive notes on each step of pet care that we required. During the booking she sent multiple pictures for each visit as well as notes about how they were doing. She also stayed longer than the booked time during multiple visits. Upon return my cats seemed very content and looked well taken care of. I would definitely recommend and would rebook in the future if needed!

We had an amazing experience! Our cat, Juniper, was so well cared for while we were away, and it made our vacation so much more enjoyable knowing he was in such good hands. We received lots of photos and updates, and it was clear he was happy and comfortable the entire time. It was such a relief coming home to a happy, relaxed cat. We've already recommended her to our friends and will absolutely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much! I know Waldo was so happy to see you again, and it was such a relief knowing he was in amazing hands while I was gone for the weekend! I cannot say enough how much I appreciate you being flexible with your schedule to make sure the little guy is safe and happy ☺️☺️☺️

Kamron was great - very communicative and sent me timely updates on both kitties. Lots of pictures (which are always appreciated) and I could tell our friendlier cat was happy to spend time with them. Will definitely book with Kamron again in the future, if available!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Druid Hills. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
