About: Hi :) I am an animal lover and excited to care for your fur baby! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, growing up with a Miniature Schnauzer and a calico cat. I currently have a cat of my own, and my family has a Giant Schnauzer and Great Dane, so I’m comfortable with large dogs. I’ve also cared for dogs and cats for neighbors and family friends and am an experienced cat foster. I have experience caring for animals with special needs, including blind animals and a three-legged Bullmastiff. One of the cats I fostered had an amputated leg, and I was responsible for giving her oral medications and helping with her recovery. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine and make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and love while you’re away! 🐶🐱💕 I graduated this past May with an MPH in Epidemiology from Rollins School of Public Health and am currently looking for a full-time position. In the meantime, I’m open to daily pet care opportunities and would be happy to help in any way I can! Recurring unavailable times due to existing bookings in the Old Fourth Ward area: • Tuesday–Thursday: 11:30 AM–12:00 PM • Tuesday–Friday: 12:30–1:00 PM • Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 9:00–9:30 AM and 4:00–4:30 PM I’m very flexible and happy to tailor care to whatever your pet enjoys! I love taking dogs on walks, to the dog park, or wherever else they love to go. I also love playing with cats and giving them plenty of attention, especially since I have an orange tabby of my own!
“Emilie was amazing. The cats loved her. No issues at all, stress free and that’s how we like it!! We will definitely have Emilie back next time. Corri, Bram and Lu adore you”

“Melissa and Jordan are absolute Lifesavers! My parents were in town and I needed somebody last minute and they were quick to respond and did a wonderful job with my pups. My dogs absolutely love them!”
“Lauren was great! Very communicative and from the beginning sought to define clear expectations for her visits. She asked for feedback between visits and was all around great!”

“Kamron was amazing, will definitely book again! He was very communicative and sent pics each visit, and two of my cats needed meds and he had no issue giving them (a pill, liquid oral med, and asthma inhaler). Highly recommend!”

“Erin was very sweet to my three kitties and made sure they were taken care of each day! She shared pictures of them each day and gave me updates which were very sweet!”

“Alyssa took great care of our cat, even cooked salmon skin for her to have as a treat. We got several precious photos every day and enjoyed the daily updates!”

“Grace made this process so easy, from start to finish. She was super easy to communicate with and made sure to regularly send updates throughout her visits! I would definitely recommend her, my cat was so comfortable with her!”

About: I love animals and honestly consider getting to hang out with someone’s pets one of the best parts of house sitting. I’m patient, attentive, and more than happy to spend plenty of time playing with them, keeping them company, feeding them, and sticking to whatever routine they’re used to. I know every animal has their own personality, so I’m also completely happy giving shy or independent pets their space and letting them warm up to me at their own pace. I’m also an EMT (one of the guys in the ambulance), so I’m used to being responsible, staying calm in unexpected situations, and paying close attention to details. While that obviously doesn’t replace veterinary care, I think those skills carry over really well when someone is trusting me with both their pets and their home. I’m currently a graduate student taking my classes completely online, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I’m home most of the day studying anyway, which means your pets won’t just get a quick morning and evening visit, they’ll actually have someone around to hang out with them, give them attention, and keep them company throughout the day. I’ll treat your home and pets with the same care and respect I’d want someone to give my own. I’m happy to follow whatever feeding, walking, medication, crate, or household routine you normally use rather than changing what your pet is comfortable with. I’ll also keep you updated while you’re away, and I’m always happy to send pictures because I know I’d want the same reassurance if someone else were watching my pets!
“Scar is simply the best. My two skittish kitties warmed up to them so quickly! Took excellent care of my babies, is always prompt and professional, with great communication. Very clear they love animals, and my kitties seem so comfortable with them. Will definitely keep booking as long as we can!”

“Georga was amazing with our cat!! She left detailed (and humorous) updates from each visit, clearly spent plenty of quality time showing love to our pet, and even went above and beyond to leave the space clean. Felt totally at ease knowing our cat was in her care!”

“Amazing pet sitter! He sent pics and detailed reports every check in. My cat was in great hands with him. He was even able to give my cat his meds. 10/10 recommend Remington to take care of your fur babies.”
“Megan did an incredible job - following instructions, sending cute photos and lovely messages to describe the visit - giving me great peace of mind during a long trip away. I will definitely be rebooking Megan in the future. Great job Megan! You are a life saver.”

“Amy was an incredible cat sitter, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care she gave Luna. From the very beginning and throughout my entire trip, she maintained excellent communication, always responding quickly and providing detailed updates. She followed all the instructions I left for Luna with so much attention and care, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away for such a long time. When I came home, I could immediately tell that Luna was happy, relaxed, and very well cared for. She clearly never felt lonely or neglected, and it was obvious how much love and affection Amy gave her while I was gone. I am incredibly grateful for Amy’s professionalism, dedication, and genuine love for animals. Most importantly, I’m thankful for how wonderfully she treated my Luna. Knowing she was in such caring hands made being away from her so much easier. I would absolutely trust Amy with Luna again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will truly care for their pet as if they were her own. Thank you so much, Amy! ❤️”

“Brooke has been so wonderful! Excellent communication and such sweet photos and detailed information about the animals. She was perfect even in a last minute request situation!”

“This is our second time working with Kahealani and she's just wonderful. She's kind, responsive, and helpful. Our senior cat adores her. Thank you Kahealani for your help!!!”

“Olja was a great caregiver for our cat Corn while we were away! She was kind, reliable, super friendly, and took amazing photos. It was a relief to know our guy was well taken care of - thank you again!”

Thank you so much for taking care of my cats while I was away. Was provided with updates everyday and was able to feel at peace knowing they were being taken care of! I also had an issue with my feeder and Renee helped me out as well. Would definitely book again

Melissa and Jordan did a fantastic job taking care of my two cats, and both my cats seemed to LOVE their time together! They got them playing and jumping into their laps for cuddles. They kept them fed, cleaned their litter, and even administered ear medication. We’ll definitely look forward to working with them again for our next trip!

Kamron is fantastic! This is the 2nd time I’ve used him. He is very reliable, a great communicator, and responsible. I have 2 cats - one is very friendly and the other is not good with strangers. However from the first time he took care of the cats, both cats took to him right away. I highly recommend Kamron.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
