“Meredith was very kind and asked thoughtful questions to get to know my cats during our initial meet and greet. She also communicated very well and responded quickly to my messages. Though I only booked two days of services, Meredith was able to pet one of my cats from the very first day! She also provided pictures, videos, and thorough updates on the cats. I definitely felt at ease leaving my cats with her and won't hesitate to use her again.”

“Micah was fantastic, we had a great experience and highly recommend for any dog watching needs! We appreciated the pictures and updates from Micah and trusted that our dogs would be well taken care of, which they were. Micah was very attentive to the dogs and their needs, our expectations were exceeded!!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Elizabeth. She came prepared to our meet and greet with a through list of questions about my cat and our home. She was a great communicator and kept me up to date on what was going on with my cat and sent pictures every day. She even brought in my mail, watered my plants, and took out the trash before she left on her last visit. It’s obvious that my cat loved his time with her. I won’t hesitate to use her services again!”

“Kaitlyn was great with my sometimes ornery kitty, Peaches! I’ll be using her when I go to Clayton, GA to visit my sister! Such a relief to know pets are in good hands! Thank you, Kaitlyn & Rover!!!”

“Deedee took excellent care of my puppy! She took so many adorable pictures and wrote up a cute description of their day. It put me at ease to know my puppy was in great hands. I will definitely be using her again! Thank you Deedee!”

“We absolutely love her. She has such a great personality, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. My favorite part is seeing my pup on the camera waiting by the door for her to arrive for their play date. That alone says everything. He’s happy, excited, and well cared for, which gives me so much peace of mind. I’m so glad we found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving with their pets.”

“My elderly guy was well taken care of. Julie handled his meds and complicated food situation so well. My cat was in great hands and I appreciated her communications and updates throughout our trip.”

About: I’m an experienced dog owner with two huskies of my own, and previously I had a Jack-Russel terrier I took on lots of walks, so I understand high-energy breeds, strong personalities, and the importance of structure, routine, and exercise. I have a 6 foot fence, that my huskies cannot jump, so if you have a dog that likes to jump, my fence can probably keep them contained in my backyard for their safety. I’m comfortable handling energetic dogs, leash manners, and dogs that need consistent exercise to stay happy and calm. Walks are never rushed—I tailor them to each dog’s energy level, weather conditions, and comfort. I also pay close attention to hydration, behavior cues, and overall well-being. Your dog will receive individual attention, affection, and calm supervision in a home environment. I take pet safety seriously and follow owner instructions closely, including feeding routines, medication schedules (if applicable), and house rules. I am also a mom to two humans, 7 years old and 9 months old. I am a stay at home mom, so my schedule is very flexible for dog walking or drop-ins, but I may have my baby in stroller with me for walks, please let me know if that’s not ok. I recently quit my job at the CDC, I was a biologist, to spend time with my girls during their formative years. I am a stay-at-home mom, taking care of my huskies and baby. As long as you don’t mind me bringing my baby to walk alongside your dog in my stroller, I can walk your dog anytime of day during the week or weekends. I have a 6 foot tall, fenced-in backyard, so I am ideal boarding spot for high energy dogs. I have a 6 foot tall, fenced in backyard and 2 sweet husky ladies to keep your dog company in doors. I can crate your dog in my house if needed. I believe clear communication is key, so I provide updates, photos, and honest feedback during each booking. My goal is for you to feel confident and for your dog to feel secure, exercised, and cared for while you’re away.

“Jay was an excellent communicator and sent lots of picture updates. Jay checked on our dog several times while we were out of town, and I felt very comfortable knowing he was in good hands. I highly recommend Jay as a trustworthy and reliable sitter!”
“We love Stacie! First time that she watched our pups and they love her already! Communication is stellar, tons of pics of our furbabies and she took the time to bring in our cans and packages while we were gone. Thanks Stacie!!”

“Julianna has been an amazing pet sitter for my dog Tommy and kitten Oreo. She is an exceptional communicator and has a very keen eye for details. I know I can travel stress free if Julianna is taking care of my loved ones. Recently, Julianna noticed Oreo wasn’t being as playful as usual, I took him to the Vet and he was very constipated. I’m beginning to think Tommy and Oreo prefer Julianna over me!”

“Stacy did a great job taking care of our cat while we were away. She did everything we asked and was very pleasant to communicate with. I would happily trust her to take care of our pets again next time we are away.”

“Ryan is great with our dog Wylder. He drops in over the weekend and takes him for walks/potty breaks. He sends photos of him playing and info on what they did. Wylder definitely seems happier and calmer since Ryan has been dropping in.”

“Madison is great with our cats! She did a great job administering meds, including an inhaler, and played with them to keep them happy while we were away. Plus she was prompt and had great communication throughout, including great photos!”

About: I grew up with always having at least one dog and several cats at the same time, so I am used to a little pet chaos! Currently a cat mom to 3 cats, and am a self-proclaimed cat whisperer. I know it can be anxious leaving your pet at home while you are away, and promise to take care of your pets as if they are my own. I currently work Mondays thru Thursdays 9-5 but am very flexible before or after work to care for your pets. I do work from home on Fridays, and am available most weekends. My 3 cats are indoor only cats, so I am very aware and vigilant of keeping pets safe in their environments. Since they are indoor only, I have gotten very creative with activities to keep cats stimulated and active.
“Jessica watched our kitty while we were away for 5 days and everything went well. She sent pictures and updates, and communication was prompt. No complaints, I would book her again!”

“Scar did such a great job with our two cats! We could relax knowing that we would get regular check ins and updates. Thank you for also bringing in any packages that were on the porch!!”

“This was my first time using rover for someone to watch my cat and Solange was fantastic! She always communicated with me about drop in times and if anything came up. She always sent so many pictures to ease my anxiety as well! Poe really liked her and it made me happy, she has such good positive energy! Will definitely use again :)”

Scottdale cat parents share their Rover experiences
Caitlin has been great taking care of Alex while I was away. She checked on him every day, was always punctual, and kept me updated, which gave me great peace of mind. When my flight was canceled and my travel plans unexpectedly changed, she was also very flexible and accommodating, agreeing to add two extra days of visits on short notice. I would absolutely recommend Caitlin to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter, and I would gladly book her again in the future.

Couldn’t recommend Elizabeth enough! She was watched my dog and 2 cats while I traveled internationally. She was incredibly accommodating and communicative. This was our first time leaving our dog for so long and she did a wonderful job of making him feel comfortable and relaxed. One of my cats also is usually incredibly shy around strangers and Elizabeth is the only sitter I’ve used from Rover who he comes out for. Our flight got delayed and Elizabeth was very accommodating to the change in the schedule. We are so appreciative!

Julie did a wonderful job taking care of our two kitties while we had to travel last minute! We were super nervous to leave as our little kitty girl had been sick the week before we left, but Julie put us at ease and made sure she was well taken care of. She updated us regularly with pictures and check-in notes which made a world of a difference! Genuinely cannot recommend her enough!
