About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I have trained many dogs, including pitbull’s Saint Bernards, Chihuahuas, Maltese, etc. I have taken care of dogs at all ages in stages of life, elderly, puppy, pregnant. I absolutely adore dogs! I am an avid walker and walk over 6 miles daily. I would love to help out some people with furry friends who aren’t able to walk them as much! I am a great choice when it comes to watching your dog when you are away! I am super accountable and enjoy spending time with dogs!
“Kamron was awesome with our dog and friends dog that was staying over. We asked for a last minute drop in and Kamron came through! He left great feedback. It was such a relief having someone we could trust to check on them. He was super quick to respond. He also paid attention to detail and took great care in what we needed. We will use him again for sure! Above and beyond, excellent experience.”

“Jay was really wonderful with my pup. He was always prompt and on time when coming to feed and walk her, and I could tell she was having a blast because of all the picture updates he included with a rundown of each visit. I was so grateful to have someone take care of my pup at home while I was away, and Jay gave me peace of mind knowing she was in good hands.”

“Stacy was fantastic! This was my first time using Rover so I was a bit nervous but Stacy made it easy and took great care of my cats. Will be re-booking her for my trip next month!”

“Couldn’t recommend Elizabeth enough! She was watched my dog and 2 cats while I traveled internationally. She was incredibly accommodating and communicative. This was our first time leaving our dog for so long and she did a wonderful job of making him feel comfortable and relaxed. One of my cats also is usually incredibly shy around strangers and Elizabeth is the only sitter I’ve used from Rover who he comes out for. Our flight got delayed and Elizabeth was very accommodating to the change in the schedule. We are so appreciative!”

“We absolutely love her. She has such a great personality, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. My favorite part is seeing my pup on the camera waiting by the door for her to arrive for their play date. That alone says everything. He’s happy, excited, and well cared for, which gives me so much peace of mind. I’m so glad we found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving with their pets.”

“Ryan is great with our dog Wylder. He drops in over the weekend and takes him for walks/potty breaks. He sends photos of him playing and info on what they did. Wylder definitely seems happier and calmer since Ryan has been dropping in.”

“First time using Rover so it was a relief that it went so smoothly. It was a last minute booking but definitely will be booking Solange again ! P.S. Thanks for taking your shoes off in the house haha”

About: I’ve had my pitty for roughly two years and have had to deal with training, medicinal application, behavioral management and hardcore cuddling. I also have experience dealing with smaller dogs as well and tailoring my care to suit their needs as well. I work in the food service industry so my schedule can be a bit sporadic but I have taken care of my dog for two years without incident and it’s been great! I can be as flexible as you need me to be. Frequent walks and playtime. Your buddy will get the attention they deserve! I currently do not offer services in my home because my dog does not get along with intact dogs and my apartment is small.
About: I love animals but can’t have pets in my apartment so would appreciate sharing that love with your pet! I have been caring for a variety of pets since 2019, mostly dogs & cats (and the occasional bird!). I have experience with dogs of all sizes (from chihuahuas to Great Danes) and most ages. I have less experience with puppies but lots of experience with senior dogs. I have experience with high energy dogs that need multiple walks a day and dogs that struggle with mobility. I have experience with dogs who require medication. I have experience with cats of all temperaments. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. I have a fairly flexible schedule so am available during the day most days and on weekends. I have been regularly caring for my parents’ elderly Great Dane (11 years old now) since 2020. I am looking forward to spending more time caring for pets. I care for pets in their home environment according to the standards set by the owners. I am very conscious of varying family rules on things such as furniture and am happy to adhere to those expectations. I prefer to stick to whatever schedule the pet(s) are used to (regular walk times, regular feeding times, etc).
“Jordyn was great! She came over to meet our dogs beforehand and was so good with them. Provided us a rover card each day so we could see what the dogs were up to when she came! We will definitely be using her in the future :)”

“Micah was fantastic, we had a great experience and highly recommend for any dog watching needs! We appreciated the pictures and updates from Micah and trusted that our dogs would be well taken care of, which they were. Micah was very attentive to the dogs and their needs, our expectations were exceeded!!”

“Deedee did an excellent job taking care of our cats! Her daily updates and photos gave us great peace of mind and always left us with a smile. She made sure to give them plenty of playtime and attention, and it was clear how quickly they warmed up to her. I sincerely thank Deedee for her care and happily endorse her services. I will definitely call on her again in the future!”

Mary Elena was an amazing sitter! She was so patient with Biscotti while my kitten waited a few visits to open up. Mary Elena was very communicative and sent the best updates and pictures. I had no doubt that Biscotti was in great hands while I was away. Will definitely book again!

Kamron is fantastic! This is the 2nd time I’ve used him. He is very reliable, a great communicator, and responsible. I have 2 cats - one is very friendly and the other is not good with strangers. However from the first time he took care of the cats, both cats took to him right away. I highly recommend Kamron.

Solange has been a great help to me while I recover from hip replacement surgery and have some restrictions on moving around safely. She is very good about keeping me updated on her schedule and her cheerful and helpful presence have been welcome. Cassie looks forward to her visits as much as I do! I can't say enough about how wonderful she has been for both of us.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
