Before boarding my dog, she suggested meeting up at a dog park so my dog could become familiar with her and her dog. Later, when I dropped my dog off for boarding, Colleen carefully introduced her to the other dogs in the house one at a time so she wouldn't get overwhelmed. Additionally, Colleen incorporated familiar blankets and routines from home to help my dog settle into her new situation. Although my dog is sometimes too anxious to eat when she's in a new place, she consistently ate well at Colleen's. She also enjoyed going for walks, watching the world from the front window, and hanging out on the couch and back deck with the other dogs. Colleen shared regular updates and photos about how my dog was doing. She was also quick to respond to updates from my end. I'm very thankful for the thoughtful care Colleen provided throughout my dog's stay in her home!”

About: I’m a huge dog lover, there isn’t much that I’m more passionate about than dogs. I come from a big dog loving family. I’ve been a dog owner most of my life. Since I was about 8 I would study and research all I could about dogs and I’ve even trained pretty much every family dog we’ve. It was mostly the basics and cool tricks. Meet and greets in my home scheduled between 8 am to 7 pm. Meet and greets in your home scheduled between 9 am to 5 pm Thank you! Daily schedules can be adapted to your dog's needs. However, they must be able to sleep through the night. They can be let outside in the morning as early as 6:30 am. Please advise me if their usual schedule can/cannot adhere to that. I have a completely fenced and well maintained backyard. The fence is a 4 ft high chain link fence. Dogs can run and play freely off leash with my dog. For in-home cat care, I am VERY careful when going in and out and make sure everything is left clean and organized. I will interact/play with all cats who will let me!

I have worked at a animal shelter, a popup vaccine clinic for pets, and worked at a spay/neuter clinic. This provides me with over 5 years of basic pet and medical care experience. I also have learned a lot about animal behavior which provides me with the knowledge on how to approach your animal or calm them down of needed. Im a stay at home mom available 24/7. My dog goes on a walk three times a day. We have a dog park that I take then to and give them a little time to be outside and sniff. My pets are very well taken care of and geta lot of attention. My dog is crated when I leave as she is a escape artist and likes to take food off of the counter. However my animals sleep with me every night and gets plenty of cuddles.

About: I love animals but can’t have pets in my apartment so would appreciate sharing that love with your pet! I have been caring for a variety of pets since 2019, mostly dogs & cats (and the occasional bird!). I have experience with dogs of all sizes (from chihuahuas to Great Danes) and most ages. I have less experience with puppies but lots of experience with senior dogs. I have experience with high energy dogs that need multiple walks a day and dogs that struggle with mobility. I have a fairly flexible schedule so am available during the day most days and on weekends. I have been regularly caring for my parents’ elderly Great Dane (11 years old now) since 2020. I prefer to stick to whatever schedule the pet(s) are used to (regular walk times, regular feeding times, etc).

“My dog has a somewhat nervous disposition, but Colleen went out of her way to ensure that my dog would feel comfortable with her. Before boarding my dog, she suggested meeting up at a dog park so my dog could become familiar with her and her dog. Later, when I dropped my dog off for boarding, Colleen carefully introduced her to the other dogs in the house one at a time so she wouldn't get overwhelmed. Additionally, Colleen incorporated familiar blankets and routines from home to help my dog settle into her new situation. Although my dog is sometimes too anxious to eat when she's in a new place, she consistently ate well at Colleen's. She also enjoyed going for walks, watching the world from the front window, and hanging out on the couch and back deck with the other dogs. Colleen shared regular updates and photos about how my dog was doing. She was also quick to respond to updates from my end. “Brandon clearly knows dogs behavior, which made me comfortable leaving Kinsley, Kirby, and Pistachio under his care. At drop off, our dogs got acquainted with the front yard and Kinsley was already playing fetch with Brandon. After we left, the dogs went inside and met the other dogs and I appreciated this approach--with us around, our dogs could have been protective. Updates were very frequent in the first 36 hours, which I needed, then appropriately spaced after that.”
