“Jeanmarie was an excellent cat sitter while we were out of town! She was always on time and sent updates daily, which was much appreciated. We felt very comfortable with her watching our cats and we would definitely recommend her services and will book her for any future cat sitting needs!”

“Ryan is great with our dog Wylder. He drops in over the weekend and takes him for walks/potty breaks. He sends photos of him playing and info on what they did. Wylder definitely seems happier and calmer since Ryan has been dropping in.”

“We had a great experience with Jiayi! She was super caring and thoughtful, and I never had to worry while I was away. Everything went perfectly. I’d absolutely recommend her!”

“What an awesome individual Dan is to work with! The girls LOVE seeing Dan and he is so calm and patient with us! Even when we have last minute schedule changes he is so great about understanding and being flexible with us and ours girls needs☺️ thank you so much Dan!!”

“Andre was great with our two cats and made sure they were well taken care of during our trip. Great communication. Definitely recommended and will be looking to rebook when we need to!”

About: I’ve had my pitty for roughly two years and have had to deal with training, medicinal application, behavioral management and hardcore cuddling. I also have experience dealing with smaller dogs as well and tailoring my care to suit their needs as well. I work in the food service industry so my schedule can be a bit sporadic but I have taken care of my dog for two years without incident and it’s been great! I can be as flexible as you need me to be. Frequent walks and playtime. Your buddy will get the attention they deserve! I currently do not offer services in my home because my dog does not get along with intact dogs and my apartment is small.
“Carla & Talia were absolutely wonderful! We have 2 babies that don’t get along and they listened to us and followed what we needed to a tee to keep our babies safe! The check-ins and communication were great and we will definitely be booking again! Thankyou so much!”

“Peggy is very sweet and took great care of our two kitties with drop in visits. She sent thorough updates and always asked questions which we really appreciate. She is responsive, reliable, and very punctual! We will definitely be booking her again.”

“All of Julie’s rave reviews are the real deal! She is conscientious, caring, smart, cheerful, and friendly. I don’t see how anyone could have taken care of my cats any better.”

“Ella was amazing! She sent fantastic photos every day and I felt very comforted knowing she was taking care of Momo for me. Communication was also awesome and definitely will book again. Thanks Ella!!!”

About: Hi, my name is Brittany and I love animals. (I'm sure everyone here says that.) I have been volunteering at various shelters for years, as well as fostering dogs and house sitting for dogs, cats, and chickens. I am trustworthy (I have client references if needed) and I take great care to make sure every pet feels love like they should. :) I do request dogs to be house trained. I can offer a nice walk on sidewalks or the trail, or just throwing a ball inside, if your pet is anything like mine was. (Miniature Rat Terrier, we played a lot of fetch in this condo.) I writing from home so there will be a lot of one-on-one time. I’m that someone to water your plants and get your mail while you are away! Big dog people: I love big dogs! If you have a backyard we can play in, perfect! I’m kind of a small human, so walks with a dog that pulls and isn’t 20 lbs is not something I’m comfortable with. Safety for everyone! My standard routine is working from my laptop, occasional grocery trips, lots of watching Hulu and couch cuddle time. I try to take a daily walk around .5 miles but can adjust to shorter or longer walks based on dog needs. I prefer staying at client’s home, I’ve found most pups feel more comfortable that way. A meet and greet is preferred, just a walk through of how you keep your house, how your pup/s like to be cared for, etc. I’m a homebody, pets will be left alone for no longer than a trip to Kroger.
About: I grew up with dogs and a cat in a loving home and absolutely love animals! I've also dog sat for close family and friends throughout my life. My soul kitty just passed away recently and I'm looking to fill my time with love, care, and cuddles from our furry family members we love so much. I know what it's like to care for, show love and interest, play and meet their needs where they're at. I may be new to pet sitting with Rover, but I am not new to caring for and loving animals. I've used Rover for pet sitters to care for my cat when she was with me, and am familiar with this platform and the needs/concerns of being a pet parent. I promise to care for your pets just as I did for my kitty. I work in the office Monday-Wednesdays, but work from home Thursdays-Fridays. I have more daytime flexibility for drop ins on Thur/Fri. Otherwise happy to do drops ins outside of working hours in the beginning of the week. While I live in a condo, there is plenty of space to take dogs out for a walk, potty, etc. I live in a quiet complex and have a nice little nature path between our buildings. I can also easily to take them to dog parks that are close by (on leash of course, I wouldn't take them off leash as they are not my own-for everyone's safety). If staying at your home-I am respectful and will follow all instructions to the t.
About: I've forever had a love for dogs. Shadowed in a vet office for two years and have seen animals been given oral meds and other treatments. Have owned several dogs. Currently have 1 dog named Chester. Also have worked with pregnant dogs (my mom has bred several litters). Comfortable with any breed or size. Passionate about every animal not just dogs. I love to go on walks and I'm an excellent trick trainer I might add. I work full time, but I work from home so I am flexible to work with a schedule for feedings and walks. I also can have portable monitor so I can work from other locations besides my home. If I plan to watch you dog overnight, I prefer to do it in the client’s home. Generally, it makes it more comfortable for the dog. Adjustments can be hard and they are already getting used to an unfamiliar face taking care of them. Please do not hesitate to reach if you have fee adjustment requests or questions!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Scottdale
Elisabeth did a fantastic job with our three pups. She followed all directions and made the whole process worry free. She has a great calming energy, which even put our shyest pup at ease during our initial meet and greet. We feel lucky to have found such a gem and look forward to using her again in the future.

We had a great experience! Our boy has some anxiety and can take a little while to warm up to new people, so we appreciated how patient and understanding she was. She came by for a meet and greet beforehand and took the time to let him get comfortable at his own pace. She was great with him during their first hangout, and we feel comfortable having her for future drop in visits!

Kamron was awesome with our dog and friends dog that was staying over. We asked for a last minute drop in and Kamron came through! He left great feedback. It was such a relief having someone we could trust to check on them. He was super quick to respond. He also paid attention to detail and took great care in what we needed. We will use him again for sure! Above and beyond, excellent experience.

We were pleasantly surprised to see our Barley so relaxed and himself when we arrived back home after the visit. We knew Jennifer and he would be great together since Jennifer has such a peaceful and attentive nature. We received wonderful photos of him looking happy and calm. Love them! Thank you, Jennifer, for taking such good care of Barley and allowing us to get out of the house for a bit without the worry. We appreciate your time and looking forward to the next visit very soon!

Lynn is amazing! She took on the responsibility of my pups, last minute, having never met them, and did wonderfully! Lynn communicated with me at every step. She is thoughtful and totally wants to do everything she can to make my pups, and me, comfortable and taken care of. She is highly recommend! I will definitely want to book Lynn again!

Again Ms. Cat did an amazing job with my 2 babies. She is very attentive with them and knows each of their personalities really well. The biggest struggle for me is ensuring that my older dog, Walker, could get his medication. We talking through his needs each day, twice a day and she had no issues administering his eye drops. When I arrived home they were both comfortable and not stressed as I have experienced with other sitters.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Scottdale with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
