“We have used Trent multiple times to drop in and care for our animals and walk our dog. Trent is reliable, trustworthy and always available when we need him. Thank you Trent!”

“Erica was so sweet and my animals instantly took to her. She was able to administer medicine, and made sure my babies were well fed, watered, and got adequate attention. She was communicative and easy to work with. I felt very comfortable leaving my animals in her care. Would definitely rebook.”

About: What sets me apart is the patience and understanding I bring to every walk. I'm currently training my own German Shepherd, which has taught me how to work with dogs of different personalities and energy levels using consistency, positive reinforcement, and patience. Whether your pup is shy, energetic, or still learning their manners, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while getting the exercise and attention they deserve. I currently have a lot of time on my hands before starting PA school, so I have time to spend with your pets walking, running, or just hanging out! I know how important it is to keep pets comfortable in their own environment, so I'll follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I'll make sure they have fresh water, plenty of exercise, and lots of attention and affection. I'll always respect your home, follow any care instructions you leave, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: Beginning with my family's pets throughout childhood and adolescence, and continuing on through my work experience at a veterinary clinic and with exotic animal husbandry, my career is centered around providing highly compassionate, detail-oriented animal care. In addition to basic care such as feeding, walking, etc. I have experience with animals with additional needs such as oral, injection, and inhaler administration, subcutaneous fluids, bathing/skin treatments, and caring for senior pets with limited mobility. I hold a Cat and Dog First Aid/CPR certification from the American Red Cross, and am currently a student of an accelerated veterinary assisting program through IGNITE Veterinary Solutions in order to further build on my existing skillset. I take your pet's happiness and well being very seriously, and provide the same care I would want my own to recieve. I am currently working part-time as well as taking online self-paced courses, so I am very flexible to drop in, provide walks, and stay overnight if needed. When I am entrusted to enter a client's home, I follow a policy of leaving it as clean as possible and doing what I can to follow the typical routines your pets might expect, since this is a major component of animal well-being and happiness. I make a point to maintain a calm, nonreactive presence when interacting with your pets in all scenarios, and am happy to take in mail, garbage cans, etc., when necessary.
“We had a great experience with Jiayi! She was super caring and thoughtful, and I never had to worry while I was away. Everything went perfectly. I’d absolutely recommend her!”

“She took great care of my cat who doesn’t do well with strangers. She made sure he was fed and had water, cleaned his litter box, and checked in on him carefully as not to scare him too much.”

“Fabiola did an absolutely excellent job of taking care of my three dogs. She was extremely efficient and thorough at communicating with me and keeping me updated with my dog’s daily check-in’s. She also played with them and provided each one, with the individual care and attention each required. She got to know each of my pups really well and their own unique personalities. I was at complete ease while being out of town knowing that my dog’s were truly taken care of and looked after. Thank you so much Fabiola! ☺️ Highly recommend her and will most definitely rebook for future dog care visits.”

About: Hi! I've been a dog lover my entire life. I grew up with a golden retriever from puppy onward and in adulthood adopted a senior lab who I loved dearly and took great care of in her golden years. Since I no longer have a dog, I'd love to spoil your pup with attention! I work full-time during the week, so I am currently offering weekend availability only; however, there may be certain weeks where I might also be able to walk your dog in the evenings, so if you are interested in certain weekdays, don't hesitate to ask! I am extremely conscientious and will be mindful of your pet's unique needs. Whether that's more of a focus on exercise, interaction, or a balance between both, I'm here for you!
“Jessica was AMAZING!!! She came with such short notice and really gave me so much relief while I was away from home and had another pet sitter cancel:( So beyond grateful for her !”

About: Hi! I'm Jessica, and I've always been a dog person. I volunteer with Lifeline Animal Project and Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, where I've spent time with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing tug-of-war, or just curling up on the couch for company, I'm happy to meet them where they are. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust, and I'll care for your dog as if they were my own. I'm reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I'll make sure your pup gets plenty of exercise, affection, and updates while you're away so you can relax knowing they're in good hands. I work from 7a-3p Monday - Friday and can come home for lunch - I'm a 10 min drive away. Your dog will get (a minimum of) a morning walk, afternoon walk and evening walk. Dogs with more energy will get outside playtime. I'll be with them throughout the late afternoon and evening. They will get a walk before bed. Your dog can sleep in my bed and I will be with them the entire time on the weekends. I will keep your dog company, make sure they get exercise, mental stimulation, and lots of love. I’ll send you pictures daily of our time together.

“Chloe was great with my babies and treated them like they were her own. She was amazing with giving medication and was very communicative. I came back to two very happy kitties and I wouldn’t have anyone else look after them while I’m away. Chloe is an amazing pet sitter!!”

“First time Rover user, and will definitely be using Lauren again if we can! She was such a great help with our pup - she gave me updates throughout her time with him along with a bunch of pictures! I could tell our pup was super happy and tired from all his playtime”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
