I work full time at a fitness studio, so I’m out and about during the day, but I’m never gone for more than 8 hours. My workday sometimes starts as early as 4 AM — but that just gives me more time in the afternoons for extra playtime and walks, and maybe an extra snack or two 😄 I prefer evening drop-offs — it gives your dog a little extra time to settle into a new environment and get to know me and Pumpkin better. My goal is to make sure your dog is comfortable and happy while they’re with me, and I’ve found this really helps them adjust. I encourage confirming early and scheduling our meet-and-greet quickly if you’re a first-time client. I live near a park that has a dog park as well so we can spend some time walking the park and romp around. Since I don't have a yard and live in a townhome, I usually take out dogs every couple of hours especially if they are larger. My dog has his own vacation during the week so for boarding and daycare Monday through Thursday means your pup gets all my attention. Yay! My jobs allow for flexible schedule, working hybrid as well. It allows for plenty of breaks to take your dog outside for a walk and play. For house sitting, I will make sure to treat it with the upmost respect and care. In my own home, I live in a 2 story townhome ans although I don't have a yard, it means more walks around the neighborhood and being taken to the parks.

We have over 15 years of experience caring for our own dogs and have also looked after a wide variety of breeds, including doodles, labs, springer spaniels, French bulldogs, terriers, vizslas, GSPs, and mixed breeds. We truly love dogs and treat them like part of the family. We have a 5-year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer who is well-socialized and gets along great with other dogs. She can be a little skittish with new people at first, but she loves other dogs and is very comfortable sharing her space. She’s also great at entertaining herself and can play independently when needed. Our home is a great fit for dogs who enjoy both activity and downtime. My husband goes on 3+ mile runs every other day, and we take daily walks around the neighborhood. We’re happy to match your dog’s routine and energy level to make sure they feel comfortable and at home. We’re best suited for well-behaved adult dogs who do well in a calm home environment and can be left alone for a few hours if needed. Our goal is to provide a safe, low-stress stay where your dog feels cared for and relaxed while you’re away. We love being part of the Brookhaven community and enjoy a routine, active lifestyle. My husband and I both work full-time, but together we work from home 4 out of 5 weekdays, which allows us to give dogs a lot of attention, consistency, and care throughout the week. We joined Rover because we genuinely love dogs and know how valuable it is to have your dog stay in a real dog-loving home while you’re away. When we travel, we personally prefer having our dog stay with another dog owner rather than a traditional boarding setup, so we understand how important trust and peace of mind are. We intentionally do not leave dogs alone for long stretches, and our routine includes regular walks, playtime, and plenty of time to relax at home. We ask that you pick up/ drop off between 6am - 8pm We have a fenced-in backyard with plenty of space to run and play, and dogs in our home are treated like family. Dogs are welcome on the furniture because we love a cozy, home-like environment, and our own GSP can usually be found curled up under a blanket. We have a 5-year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer who gets along well with other dogs and enjoys both playtime and relaxing independently. She is crate trained, and while she now has free range of the house when we leave, we do have a medium sized crate available if your dog is more comfortable with that routine. Our goal is to make your dog feel safe, loved, and at home while they’re with us.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life. I’m confident and relaxed when it comes to dealing with all different types of dogs. I can quickly judge their temperament and mood and adjust my style to suit them. I’m a remote worker with a high degree of flexibility. I typically prefer mornings but can accommodate most hours of the day with enough lead time. I’ll meet with you and have questions about how you typically like to care for your pet and what their routine is. Ideally I can replicate what works best for the animal.

“I would highly recommend Lisa as a pet sitter! I left my Velcro doodle dog with her for a weekend, and she treated him like a member of her family. Lisa set up a meet and greet at a local park so she could meet my dog and tell me about her, her experience and her home. She was very communicative along the way. While my pup was with her, she sent pictures and video. She picked up on all of his needs-even sleeping with him when he got sad at night. I am thankful to know Lisa and will have my pup return to stay with her soon!”
