About: Please read before booking: 1. I can accept small pets only for overnight boarding. 2. No un-neutered male dogs please. Introduction: Leaving your pet behind while you travel can be a very stressful time for you and your pet. I will follow your instructions to the letter. I understand that some pets will want a high energy care giver while others may want a more calm and relaxing experience. I have 4 years of veterinarian experience, and 12 years of rescue experience, therefore, I have met many pet personalities! I take lots of pictures of our daily activities, and am open to face timing with your pet(s) so that you can see that they are happy and safe. I work from home and am flexible to your needs. I will make a great sitter because I will care for your pet like he or she is mine. They will receive special attention. I have a small backyard but a big doggie park in the front yard. Lots of play time! I have 2 dogs - Pug and Pomeranian. CAT CLIENTS I do offer home visits for cat care. Please send me a message. Thank you. I have a full time teleworking job that allows me to have some flexibility in my job. I prefer to not take clients that are more than 5 miles away. I will care for your pet in your home or mine with the instruction that you provide. I do meet and greets generally to provide time to get to know you and your pet. I'm full time teleworking and can provide bathroom breaks as needed. Please let me know your schedule. There is a doggie park right in front of my yard. I do meet and greets and get the details needed for a comfortable stay for your pet while you are away. I do send pictures and updates.
“Jordyn is awesome! She takes such good care of our 2 dogs. She stayed in our house this past weekend to take care of them, and it was such a relief having somebody there that you knew was responsible and loving towards your dogs.”

“Gabriyela was prompt, professional, and very patient with our senior pups. We came back to a spotless house and happy dogs. We are so appreciative of the care and service she provided!”

“Bentley had a great time with Maria! Had trips to the dog park and bamboo forest followed by good naps after the fun. Maria does a great job of getting Bentley into different environments so he can socialize and feed his curiosity.”

“We have 4 dogs, 2 of which are almost 90lbs and only a year old, with one of the others being 13 and needing medications. Summer handled them all wonderfully and they absolutely adored her (we did too)!! Every picture we got, they were all smiling and happy and snuggling up with her. 10/10 recommend her!”

“Brianna was awesome. We were lucky to find her on a short notice..Showed up on time. She gave ECHO company while we were gone to dinner. Kept us updated of his status. Thank you Brianna for taking care of ECHO. We will certainly rebook her future needs.”

“Viva is the best dog sitter!!! Our boys have such a wonderful connection with her and while we miss them when we are away, we never worry about them. She always sends the best pictures and videos, too! 15/10!”

“This is our second time using Emily and once again it was an great experience. I did not wonder or worry about anything. She provided updates twice a day with the cutest pictures. Left the house better than she found it. Couldn't recommend her enough!”

“Sudesna is awesome! She’s super communicative and my normally-anxious dog quickly bonded to her and loved her! 10/10 would love to have her dog sit in the future.”

“Jordan was terrific with our dog Frasier (he’s super sweet and loving but has his little quirks), and she handled him wonderfully. Frasier clearly loved her! For us humans, Jordan kept everything pristine, was really communicative, and sent us great photo updates. We’d happily book with Jordan again.”

“This was our first time using Rover and Kat took away the stress and nervousness of leaving our dog over the weekend. She kept our house clean, loved on Zoe, took plenty of pictures, was very responsive, punctual, and overall made this a great experience for us. Thank you, Kat!!”

“Erin was wonderful, she watched our dog for a week and took such great care of her and our home. She was quick to communicate updates and check in photos during her stay. Highly recommend and will definitely use her again.”

“I can’t thank Anna enough for taking such incredible care of my dog. While I was away, Wanda got into a bag of chocolate, and Anna acted immediately, rushing Wanda to the emergency vet and keeping me updated every step of the way. Anna’s quick thinking truly saved Wanda’s life. Knowing Wanda was in such caring and capable hands gave me so much peace of mind. I’ll always be grateful for Anna’s compassion, and genuine love for animals. Wanda and I are incredibly lucky to have found Anna!”

About: I’m an experienced and caring pet lover who has been around dogs and cats my entire life. Growing up, I regularly cared for pets in my neighborhood and spent much of my high school years pet sitting for local families. I’ve also worked at a pet store, which gave me additional hands-on experience and a strong understanding of pet care, safety, and different animals’ needs. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and personalities, including young, energetic dogs who need plenty of exercise and attention, as well as senior dogs with allergies and more specific dietary or care requirements. I understand that every pet is different, and I’m happy to follow their individual routines, medications, feeding schedules, and any special instructions you provide. I work remotely and am able to switch around my schedule to best suit the needs of your pets and work around your schedule . I am able to take care of your pets and follow instructions. One thing I find important is ensuring your pet is still on their set schedule whether that includes potty breaks, crating, etc.
“Evie and Icarus had a great time during their sleepover with Nina. She was very attentive to them and very responsive to us. Very happy to rebook with Nina the next time we go out of town.”

“Bryan is exceptional from start to finish. He took amazing care of our dog, kept us consistently updated, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It’s clear he truly cares, and we came home to a happy, well-loved pup who absolutely adores him. Highly recommend!”

“I cannot say enough about Omeria!! I have a 4 yr old rescue who can be aggressive/protective out of fear and Omeria is the only person in all her years who gave her a chance and actually worked with her. She has so much compassion and she is SO professional in how she cared for our sweet baby. I have FINALLY found a person I can trust to keep our pup and I cannot wait to have her come back!! If you need a reliable, prompt, compassionate, trustworthy, hard working and honest dog sitter.. Look. No. Further.”

Viva was amazing with my little Otis! I was out of the country and she sent me pictures everyday to let me know he was doing well and let me have my peace of mind knowing that he was happy and being loved while I was gone. She also washed the sheets and towels so everything was nice when I got home. 100% will be booking with Viva again. Could not have had a better experience :)

My husband & I have booked Girishma (G) multiple times and at this point she is our preferred sitter/walker, as in there is no one else we're looking to book! That should explain how wonderful she is at what she does but in case it doesn't please keep reading. Our two pups are not quite ‘pups’ any more and are actually over the age of 10. They move a bit slower nowadays and have some issues we keep a close watch on. Having them wth G is just about the same as them being with us. This is the type of care and attention she applies to dogs that are in her trusted care - she ensure every direction was followed exactly as we outlined and even sought to go above and beyond for their comfort, and ours. We’ve often dropped our dogs off at boarding facilities previously and received many pictures of them active and happy. This is great, but G’s updates showed us the realistic range of our dog’s temperament, especially at their age. There were playful photos but also many where they were relaxed and comfortable. We never had to guess if they were getting enough rest, being overexerted, or if they’d had a chance to hang out at the park or play for the day. She quickly learned our dogs personalities and adapted her care to them. In emergencies, G makes her best effort to accommodate in impossible situations. No-one ever travels across open water wishing to get stuck in the country they’re in—it’s never happened to us previously, but did happen while they were in G’s care. She made every best effort to continue to care for our dogs and give us a realistic solution until we could figure out alternative arrangements and return home. Having never been in that predicament, we continue to be incredibly grateful for G’s pragmatism and genuine heart for what she does…which brings me to who she is. Even in the few months that we’ve gotten to know her, we can attest to her genuine love and enjoyment for dogs. For her, it’s more than just another booking, she takes care of your dogs (whether it’s a walk or longer booking) as if they are her own. I don’t know any dog owner who drops their dog off and doesn’t hope they’ll receive the same love and attention that they would from you if you could be there. [For the humans that’ll interact with G lol] Overall, G is kind, considerate, and also incredibly friendly which makes checkin/checkout and overall communication with her a breeze. If you’re looking for someone that doesn’t just have “availability” but is also the type of person who you can trust to care for your dog in your absence, Girishma is your person.

My pup Albie could not have been in better hands. Cynthia was very communicative while I was away, and the house was spotless and everything well taken care of when I got home. For example, she let me know when my dog randomly freaked out about a noise outside and made sure to comfort him and figure out what was going on. She is such a sweet, interesting person— a true animal lover— and I would definitely book her again.

Jakobi was Great with Poppy! He was courteous, knowledgeable and did fantastic job of helping Poppy. Jakobi sent texts, pictures and messages regarding Poppy while I was away. I knew she was in great hands While I was away! Thank you for taking such good care of my girl. Will definitely request him to dog sit again and told my neighbors who had dogs about Jakobi. I
Carla was great with my two dogs when I was out of town! She was responsive and sent photos and updates while I was gone! She was able to give my dogs medication and keep them on their schedule. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to watch my friends/family’s pets!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Chamblee walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Chamblee maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Chamblee choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
