“Micah was the best house and pet sitter we’ve ever had! Both of our fur balls were loved and well taken care of. We have a senior dog who needs to be let out a lot and shown some extra TLC and Micah was perfect. He sent us a ton of pictures and updates so we knew everything was going well. They also left our house in great condition, even starting the washing machine and dishwasher before leaving. We will absolutely be booking him again whenever we are out of town.”

About: I’m a huge dog lover, there isn’t much that I’m more passionate about than dogs. I come from a big dog loving family. I’ve been a dog owner most of my life. Since I was about 8 I would study and research all I could about dogs and I’ve even trained pretty much every family dog we’ve. It was mostly the basics and cool tricks. Even til this day I enjoy teaching my pup new fun tricks I pretty much have open availability on weekends. I work through the week but I’m willing to help out with the pups through the week as well My pup has free roam in my house. Only place off limits is the kitchen but I like for her to be comfortable . My pup is crate trained but I allow her to stay out if I’ll only be gone for a few hours. Making sure the house is clean first

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 20 years and have fostered more than 30 dogs through Furkids Animal Shelter and our county euthanasia list. That experience has given me hands-on knowledge with dogs and cats at every life stage, from puppies still learning potty training to seniors with ongoing medical needs. I lead with empathy and patience, especially with animals who may be nervous, adjusting, or need extra understanding. I’m comfortable administering care for medical needs and maintaining routines that help pets feel safe and secure. I care for every animal the way I care for my own and treat each one I meet with the same love, respect, and attention. Please note that I am happy to serve ITP, Sandy Springs, & Dunwoody. My home is based in Decatur for boardings. I am experienced with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, and fish tanks. I am also certified in Dog/Cat First Aid. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine. During the week, I work in an office Monday through Thursday but have flexibility for pet check-ins and dog walks as needed. From Friday through Sunday, I am home with much more flexibility, which allows me to focus on overnight boarding, day sitting, extended care, and walks. I structure my schedule around each pet’s needs to ensure they receive consistent attention, care, and companionship. In my home, pets have a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment. I have a fully fenced yard with turf and a large deck, and we spend most of our days outside enjoying fresh air and supervised play, weather permitting. I also have a dedicated room just for dogs, giving them their own calm and cozy space when they need downtime. I am able to accommodate dogs who are dog-friendly or dog-tolerant, and I carefully manage interactions to ensure everyone feels comfortable and secure. Crating is optional and always based on the pet parent’s preference, as long as the dog is non-destructive when I step out. When caring for pets overnight, I’m never gone for more than four hours in a day, so your pet receives consistent attention, companionship, and care—just like they would at home.

About: I have lived with cats my whole life and have great attention to detail for them. I am hoping to work with more dogs through rover and while my experiences were great they are limited. If your dog has special needs I may not be able to provide adequate care but I am always happy to make new canine friends. I am currently not working so I am able to devote a lot of my attention to your beloved pets. I am very flexible and always try to communicate if there is an issue or I don't know something. I am always free on weekdays but I may have limited availability on the weekends. I always take care of the space I am in and try to leave it cleaner than I found it. And of course the pets are the main focus and the center of attention! I am very good at following written instructions and if I have any questions I will always ask.

“Ashley was a very big help on relatively short notice. One of my dogs can be very hesitant around strangers and despite a positive meet and greet prior to the sit, he was not accepting of her when she arrived. She kept an open line of communication, figured out a plan, and ended up resolving the issue and the sit went well. My dogs are not always the easiest to take care of but Ashley did not bat an eye and tackled the issues head on. I highly recommend Ashley to anyone in need of a sitter and cant thank her enough for her patience and flexibility.”

About: I love dogs and take care of puppos of all sizes and personalities all the time, including a few of my own (one is an energetic beautiful black lab the other a lazy, large but shy coon hound. People say I'm mature, and caring, I'm Reliable and consistent when dealing with doggos during visits and walks. Local to Decatur I understand dogs needs to do their business, exercise and socialize with other humans. I love to take dogs to the dog park or long walks in the woods. There are no wild animals until man makes them so. This is my favourite Mark Twain dog quote. "Heaven goes by favor; if it went by merit, you would stay out and your dog would go in."
