I like to keep to the same schedule that the pet is used to. I ensure pets are fed and walked at times they are used to. I make sure to spend time with pets after feeding and then take them out before leaving. We currently do not have pets in our home, so if boarding is needed you do not need to worry about other pets. We also have a large fenced in backyard and live in a dog-friendly neighborhood that includes a lake with lots of ducks and geese, a fun time for everyone :)

A typical day
When I am sitting for pets, I like to start off the morning with their breakfast and some playtime in the backyard or house. In my experience I have learned that animals love bright colors and if the situation calls for it, I will put on a show like Bluey or Animal planet. I like to make sure a mid morning walk happens by 10:30 (if your fur baby prefers earlier, I am happy to accommodate). The afternoons consist of outside play, some relaxation time, and depending on schedules a walk before or after dinner. Keeping your pet companion loved, played with, and cared for is so important while you are away. Nothing is better than knowing your pet is cared for in the best way possible.

I have been the proud fur mom of several animals over the years. Now that I am working from home, I have the flexibility to help others care for theirs. I have experience with administering oral medication and working with high energy pets. If there are special requests I am more than happy to discuss what is needed. I also have experience with taking care of cats, so if there are extra animals I am more than happy to care for them as well. I am available mornings, afternoons, evenings and nights during the week and have open flexibility on the weekends. Having someone you can trust to care for your pet is a huge relief, I promise that your fur baby (or babies!) will be in good hands and feel the love when you are not able to be there!
