About: My senior dog passed away after we shared 18 wonderful years together. I know how much your family members mean to you. I will ensure my time with them will be fun and show care and love as if they were my own. I'm retired and have plenty of time on my hands. One reason for pursuing this opportunity is to get more involved and out of the house. I currently have only my little Percy - he's strictly an indoor cat with his routine - early am feedings and lots of sleep during the day. About: I’ve owned and raised around 6 cats throughout my life. About 3 dogs and almost all of them were rescue pets. I’ve indulged in both dog and house sitting, most of which were overnight jobs. I’ve tended to malnourished puppies where I’ve nursed them back to perfect health. All around most of my experiences were personal, such as growing up with pets but by the time I was a teenager, I indulged in house sitting, dog walking, etc. The most pets I’d say, I’ve taken care of all at once would be around 5 or 6. I’ve cared for a few reptile pets such as turtles and snakes but it has mostly been cats and dogs. For the first time in my adult life, I have my own beautiful pup. About: We were lucky to have two amazing dogs for 15 and 16 years, caring for them from playful puppyhood all the way through their senior years—including supporting one through cancer. As the former companion to a pitbull, I love all breeds, especially those that are misunderstood. I’m currently working part time so I have lots of time for your pets! About: We have cared for pups for many years. We lost our two pups in 2022 who we've raised since they were 3 months old. It brings us comfort to know that we gave them rich, fulfilling lives. To honor their memories, we volunteer and foster with the local animal shelter and pet sit when possible. We currently have a 6 year old, 10lb Maltese/Shitzsu name Penny who we adore. She loves playing with other pups! I work at Emory and my wife is currently a stay at home mom to our 2 children. Due to this flexibility, we are able to be afforded a lot of time to care for your pets. We walk 2-3x's daily around the neighborhood (1-2 mile routes) and never double book (unless they're siblings) to ensure that the time we have with your pet is dedicated for them. We have a large, fenced-in yard on a half acre lot so your pet will have plenty of room to stretch their legs and get their wiggles out. We can commit to taking them out to potty every 2-4hrs during the day. We have experience with both crate trained pups and free range pups so long as they are non destructive when left out. We are also comfortable using healthier treats (such as rotisserie chicken) to reinforce good behaviors. We have toys, blankets, a bed, and large metal crate in our home should your pup need them. We typically take 1-2 walks daily, averaging 1-2 miles per walk - so your pet will have ample opportunity to enjoy new sights and smells during their stay with us.

About: I grew up with dogs and a cat in a loving home and absolutely love animals! I've also dog sat for close family and friends throughout my life. My soul kitty just passed away recently and I'm looking to fill my time with love, care, and cuddles from our furry family members we love so much.
