“Thank you Kristen and Jason for looking after my fur son! I was so nervous leaving him while I went on a work trip. It seems that he enjoyed himself so much and that makes me so happy. The communication was great and I loved getting pictures of my love muffin while I was away. I loved how they had everything at their home. Thank you again for Luxe and I ???”

“This was our first time using a rover pet sitter and it couldn’t have gone any smoother. Sitong and his wife created a warm, loving environment for our baby. Our minds were at peace during our whole vacation!! Will definitely be booking again!”

“She was so attentive to my baby I have a nervous little one she assured me every step of the way she was doing well. My dog got plenty of exercise and was well taken care of. She got a little rash but she made sure to give her a treated bath and keep her from licking the hot spot she did above and beyond care we will be back to the puppy party”

“Bheem loved his stay with Josh and actually was sad to leave when we picked him up. Despite this being Bheems first time with Josh, I felt 100% certain that Bheem was in good hands. Josh also provided tons of pictures and videos of Bheem having a blast with his own dogs.”

About: I’m an experienced dog owner with two huskies of my own, and previously I had a Jack-Russel terrier I took on lots of walks, so I understand high-energy breeds, strong personalities, and the importance of structure, routine, and exercise. I have a 6 foot fence, that my huskies cannot jump, so if you have a dog that likes to jump, my fence can probably keep them contained in my backyard for their safety. I’m comfortable handling energetic dogs, leash manners, and dogs that need consistent exercise to stay happy and calm. Walks are never rushed—I tailor them to each dog’s energy level, weather conditions, and comfort. I also pay close attention to hydration, behavior cues, and overall well-being. Your dog will receive individual attention, affection, and calm supervision in a home environment. I take pet safety seriously and follow owner instructions closely, including feeding routines, medication schedules (if applicable), and house rules. I am also a mom to two humans, 7 years old and an older baby. I am a stay at home mom, so my schedule is very flexible for dog walking or drop-ins, but I may have my baby in stroller with me for walks, please let me know if that’s not ok. I recently quit my job at the CDC, I was a biologist, to spend time with my girls during their formative years. I take honesty and dependability very seriously so you need not worry about your pets or home in my care. Thanks for reading my profile. I am a stay-at-home mom, taking care of my huskies and kids. As long as you don’t mind me bringing my baby to walk alongside your dog in my stroller, I can walk your dog anytime of day during the week or weekends. I have a 6 foot tall, fenced-in backyard, so I am ideal boarding spot for high energy dogs. I have a 6 foot tall, fenced in backyard and 2 sweet husky ladies to keep your dog company in doors. I can crate your dog in my house if needed. I believe clear communication is key, so I provide updates, photos, and honest feedback during each booking. My goal is for you to feel confident and for your dog to feel secure, exercised, and cared for while you’re away.
“Our second time boarding with Ayelet, great experience again. We got lots of pics of our happy and tired girl, and our dog loves hanging out with Ayelet’s well-mannered dog as well.”

“Leeandra was sent from Heaven. My baby is a 9 years old chihuahua. She never stay but with my daughter before. I was stressed. But Lolita walk down her place like her own. She kept me posted with updates and photos. She changed her dresses every day, feed, and strolled around. And my Lola is a spoiled one! She ate her food! Usually she doesn't eat the first 2 days. Overall great, and I will have her as her regular sitter.”

About: My senior dog passed away after we shared 18 wonderful years together. I know how much your family members mean to you. I will ensure my time with them will be fun and show care and love as if they were my own. I'm retired and have plenty of time on my hands. One reason for pursuing this opportunity is to get more involved and out of the house. I currently have only my little Percy - he's strictly an indoor cat with his routine - early am feedings and lots of sleep during the day. I love to walk and enjoy having a pal to share the time outside. I do miss my dog, our daily walks are where I hold very fond memories. She loved to bring sticks home and place them in the yard. I have always enjoyed my experience with pet sitters that I've hired. Each person understood how important it is to follow instructions and established routines. I would ensure I have complete understanding of each request and treat your pet as if they were mine.
“He took great care of my dog and provided daily updates. I was comfortable he was in good hands. His husky mix is adorable and played well with my dog. I booked a 2nd stay.”

“Brooke and her dog Pumpkin were the sweetest! Juno is usually very shy around other dogs and takes time to warm up, but she didn't have any issues warming up to Pumpkin. Seeing how pumpkin is such a great dog I could tell immediately how Brooke takes a great care of her dog, and she for sure did the same for Juno! She is so communicative , sends tons of pictures and videos which we all know we love. Pickups and drop offs were so easy as well - I will definitely having her taking care of my dog again!”

“Thanks for take such good care of my furbaby. Krystale was great and gave me daily update on Kobe. She was very informative of Kobes day and when we picked up he was happy. Thanks Kystale”

“Charles is the only one I trust to care for Marker, my senior pup with medical needs. He always pays close attention to Marker's well-being and provides frequent updates with pictures, giving me peace of mind while I'm away. We had a few highly-rated Rover hosts in the past that failed to live up to their good reviews; I'm glad we finally found someone we can truly trust. Charles is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond for all the pups he cares for. Marker had a blast during his visit, and I'm sure he can't wait to go back!”

“I couldn’t speak more highly of Jalil. He is not only flexible, but very professional and has a clear love and passion for dogs. He kept my dog safe, happy, exercised and in good health for the duration of my trip. Jalil is really really great.”

“Garyn is simply amazing!!! She exudes stellar all inclusive customer service, including prompt responses, and constant updates with photos. It was very evident that she cared for my baby as if she was the owner. My dog was very happy when I arrived and she had clearly gained an attachment to Garyn which proved that she took great care of her. There’s no doubt that I certainly want to work with Garyn again the next time we need a sitter. THANK YOU GARYN for being the great host that we all hope our pets should have when! KUDOS to you for a jibe greatly done!!!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Clarkston
Our dog Lyra had another amazing stay with Elisabeth! Our dog stayed for about 1.5 weeks and had a wonderful time cuddling, playing, and going for walks. Elisabeth is very capable and attentive to detail - I trust her entirely with the care of our girl, who can be a bit anxious. Elisabeth administered meds, ran out to the store when they ran out of food, and sent us lots of updates and photos. Elisabeth and her husband are basically our dog's other parents now. :D We will be working with her again next time we need a sitter!

This was my first time using Jaquana and she was very sweet and caring for my pup during his stay. She meet me the week of for a meet and greet and I was very appreciate of that. Her communication was thorough and she also sent updated pictures during the stay. Remi and enjoyed his stay and I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Colleen was wonderful!! We had a different sitter cancel last minute but it worked out because Colleen was perfect to care for our pup. From our first interaction, we could tell how much she cares for her own pup and the dogs in her care. We were super comfortable leaving our pup with her, knowing he would be in great hands! She provided updates and he was having a great time. He came home exhausted and is fast asleep now! She created the perfect doggie vacation for him while we were away. Would definitely have Raptor stay with her again :)

Erica was absolutely wonderful with my two girls. From all the pictures and videos she sent, it truly looked like they were on their own little vacation! They were happy, relaxed, and clearly very loved while in her care. The updates gave me so much comfort and reassurance while I was away. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Erica again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter. She took amazing care of my girls! 🐾💕

Brittany was Amazing! My dog took to her instantly! She was patient and kind with my..."strong-willed" baby. Her fenced backyard was perfect to allow him to roam freely. She kept me updated with photos throughout his stay. We will definitely book with Brittany again.

Kathleen was so nice, clearly cares so much about animals, took great care of our dog, and kept us updated throughout the trip! Our dog came home happy and we are so thankful for the level of care Kathleen put into taking care of her! Will absolutely book again and would highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
