My husband and I have been dog-sitting professionally for more than three years. We welcome all dog breeds, but we make a priority to match our guests by size and personality. We also work from home and have flexible hours so we can usually provide 24/7 care. We live in a large dog-friendly house with a big fenced-in back yard and a few acres of woods with trails and a stream behind the house. We take dogs for daily walks and always have play-time in the back yard. We have an extra living room in our house dedicated as a doggie play area, which comes in really handy on a rainy day. Our neighborhood is nice and quiet with almost no car traffic, so your pup can have a relaxing time on their daily walk. We prefer to have a meet and greet whenever possible. We like to learn more about your dog's likes and dislikes, and their eating, sleeping, and walking schedules so we can make them feel as much at home as possible. We currently prefer to have only four guests at a time unless they are same-family dogs. We are very flexible about pick-up and drop-off times, but we ask that you plan to come before midnight or after 6:30 AM. We may decide to charge for an extra night if your dog comes very early the first day and leaves very late on the last day, especially on weekends or holidays.
