About: I grew up with dogs and first took care of neighbors' dogs when I was in elementary school. I've have had my own for the the past 8 years and always love taking care of other people's dogs! I currently work as a yoga instructor so am gone for no more than 4 hours at a time on any given day, and my husband works from home 2 out of 5 days per week. My hours are variable from day to day, but I have plenty of time each day to spend with your dog doing whatever they'd like--walking around the neighborhood, playing with toys, or just hanging out! I have a fenced-in yard and two dogs that would love to play or just chill out with your pup-they take the lead from their dog friends! We live in a safe, low traffic neighborhood perfect for walks. Dogs are allowed on the furniture for snuggles. We have one extra kennel (for larger dogs) available if need be.

We met with them before the appointment to make sure Chase and their two dogs would get along and they were very welcoming, and throughout the visit they were very communicative - sending pictures each day to update us on how he was doing. We are so grateful to have found Owen—especially on very short notice and for our first time using Rover! We don’t need pet sitting or boarding often, and with a large, very lovable (and very enthusiastic!) dog, it can be a challenge to find the right fit. We haven’t had the best experiences with local boarding in the past. Communication was often difficult, and when we were able to check in, it felt like we were a bother. Even the “proof of life” cameras were unreliable, which made it hard to relax while we were away. This experience with Owen was completely different. He was kind, professional, and his communication was top notch from start to finish. You can truly tell he is an animal lover. His space is fantastic—plenty of room for dogs to roam outside and very well-done private quarters for in-home boarding. We felt completely comfortable and confident that our pup was not only well cared for, but genuinely loved while we were away. We’re so thankful we took a chance on Rover and found Owen!
Another amazing stay for Penny at “Camp Josh”! We have such peace of mind when Penny is with Josh. He sends pictures and videos throughout the day and keeps us updated on how she’s doing. And he spoils her - which is a good thing! She misses her buds Buzz and Phil when she gets home, too.
Alvin did an awesome job taking care of my boy Oscar. He allowed me to have a meet and greet for him and Oscar prior to the booking. Oscar warmed up to him fairly quick and that’s not his normal. I felt it was a match from there. Alvin did a great job in communicating with me throughout Oscar’s day. I definitely plan on using him again for future bookings. EC
Ayelet and her dog Luke took such wonderful care of my dog during his 12 day stay. Ayelet shared so many updates with photos and videos of my dog playing with hers and another canine boarder. It helped so much with missing my dog while I was traveling. Ayelet was also super accommodating with his supplements and feeding and drop-off/pick-up times. And bonus that he was super tired when I returned home with him! I will definitely leave him to Ayelet's tender care for my next trip!
Ms. Peggy was absolutely amazing. She kept me updated on my pup throughout the entire stay, and her messages were so detailed that I truly felt like I was there with Chloe. She made sure Chloe was as comfortable as possible, which meant so much since it was her first time boarding with her. I will definitely be booking again!
