Hello! I am a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet parent who recently transitioned into the empty-nest phase of life. While I currently don't have a dog of my own, my home is a quiet, pet-free sanctuary ready to welcome your pup with open arms. Because I don't have other pets, your dog will be my only guest. This means they will receive 100% of my love, undivided attention, and personalized care throughout their stay. My home is their home—if they are used to lounging on the furniture or curling up on the sofa for a nap, they are more than welcome to do so here! I live in a wonderful, walkable area of Decatur right near beautiful parks and paths. Being an active person, I love getting outside and am happy to tailor exercise to your dog's specific needs. Whether your pup is an adventurer who loves long, brisk walks, or a senior friend who prefers a leisurely stroll—or even a relaxing ride in a pet stroller—I am fully equipped to make sure they get their fresh air and sunshine. Beyond the walks and play, I am experienced in administering medication and ensuring your pet stays on their regular schedule. My goal is to provide a stress-free environment where your dog feels safe, adored, and right at home. I would love to meet your pup and help them have a wonderful, fun, and comfortable stay!

Your dog will have a companion throughout the day, whether I am working on a painting, organizing my studio, or relaxing. Active Lifestyle Integration: I am an early riser and highly active. Our day typically includes morning and afternoon outings to the nearby parks and walking paths, ensuring your pup gets plenty of mental stimulation and fresh air. Prioritizing Your Routine: I believe the best care maintains the routine your dog is already used to. During our first meeting, we will discuss their feeding times, nap preferences, and favorite activities so I can mirror their home schedule as closely as possible. Dedicated Quality Time: Since my studio work allows for frequent breaks, I make it a point to break up the day with focused play sessions, grooming, or just quiet time on the sofa. Your dog will never be a "visitor"—they will be my constant companion while I am home. My art studio is a calm and creative space, and your dog is welcome to lounge nearby while I work!"

Safety First: I am highly vigilant about pet safety. Whether we are on a walk or lounging in the house, your dog is always under my direct supervision.
