WFH Dog Dad w/ Large Fenced Yard

TL;DR: Work-from-home Dog Dad offering small-group, cage-free dog boarding and daycare where dogs enjoy a large fenced backyard, personalized care, and constant supervision, so you can enjoy complete peace of mind while you're away. -- Hi! I'm Josh, a work-from-home Dog Dad to Phil (Corgi) and Buzz (Border Collie mix). I offer small-group, cage-free boarding and daycare where every guest dog is cared for just like my own. I intentionally keep my guest list small so every dog receives personalized attention, careful supervision, and plenty of space to play, relax, and simply be a dog. -- Because I work from home, dogs spend their days with me instead of being left alone while someone is away at work. We follow a safe, fun, calm, and structured routine with plenty of supervised playtime in our large fenced backyard, time to relax indoors, couch cuddles, naps, and personalized attention. Whether they're making new friends, chasing a ball, sniffing around the yard, or recharging after playtime, every dog gets the space, supervision, and care they need to feel comfortable and at home. -- 🤝 Services • Dog Boarding • Dog Daycare -- ❤️ Why Dog Moms and Dog Dads Have Total Peace of Mind 🛏️ 24/7 Care: Dogs always have company and supervision. 🐾 Small-Group Fun: A carefully managed group with plenty of space, supervision, and individual attention. 🌳 Large Fenced Yard: Plenty of safe space to run, play, explore, sniff, and relax throughout the day, not just during potty breaks. 🐶 Friendly Built-in Buddies: Phil and Buzz love welcoming new friends to the pack. 📸 Frequent Photo & Video Updates: You'll never have to wonder how your dog is doing. 🏠 Cozy, Cage-Free Home Environment: Dogs enjoy a relaxed home where they can play, unwind, and settle into a comfortable routine. -- One of our regulars has affectionately nicknamed my space "Camp Josh" because dogs spend their days making friends, playing in the backyard, relaxing on the couch, and settling into a routine that feels like a fun sleepaway camp. -- Every new guest starts with a Meet & Greet to make sure we're a great fit for each other and to help create a safe, enjoyable experience for every dog in my care. -- My goal is simple: to care for your dog the same way I'd want someone caring for Phil and Buzz, so you can enjoy your trip, vacation, or day away with complete peace of mind.

Josh was so wonderful! He took the time to make sure everyone was comfortable, let our dog meet all the dogs that would be present when she was there. He has a great fenced in yard they can play in, and he sent videos and pictures throughout her stay letting me know she was having fun. Would definitely rebook!!

Josh has been absolutely fantastic with Bondi. He’s watched him for several days of daycare, an overnight stay, and most recently for six nights while I was traveling internationally. Every time, I’ve had complete peace of mind knowing Bondi was in great hands. Bondi absolutely loves spending time with Josh and his dog besties Phil and Buzz. Throughout every stay, Josh sends plenty of pictures and videos, so I always know Bondi is happy, having fun, and well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Bondi with Josh again (and will!) and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable dog sitter.

We had a great experience with Josh! His two pups are sweet and well behaved and Cora loved it there! Josh is super attentive and communicative, and it was great to see how comfortable Cora could feel right away running around in their wonderful outdoor space. Thanks Josh!

Schedule

Pet care is thoughtfully built into my daily routine. I work from home full-time, so I’m with the dogs throughout the day and able to provide consistent supervision, attention, and engagement. Dogs have regular access to our large, fenced yard for fresh air and play — whether that means exploring, running around with Phil and Buzz, or relaxing in the sun. For dogs who aren’t comfortable with a doggy door, I take frequent outdoor breaks with the group, so no pup ever feels stuck inside. Inside, the home is calm and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax, nap, play, and enjoy quiet time throughout the day. I focus on maintaining a predictable, low-stress routine so dogs feel settled quickly and know what to expect. Because I’m home full-time, care stays consistent from morning through evening. Whether it’s a weekday or weekend, your dog always has company, structure, and attentive supervision. Never long stretches alone.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I take a calm, thoughtful approach to care so dogs feel secure, settled, and truly at home during their stay. My home is clean, dog-proofed, and intentionally set up for cage-free, small-group boarding and daycare. Dogs enjoy safe outdoor time in a fully fenced yard, and indoors there are cozy beds, blankets, and quiet spaces where they can relax and recharge as needed. I closely follow each dog’s normal routine, including: • Feeding schedules and dietary needs • Medications or supplements • Crate routines (if preferred) • Behavioral notes, health considerations, or special instructions Phil and Buzz are friendly, well-socialized, and accustomed to sharing their space with guest dogs. I carefully manage introductions and group dynamics so every pup feels comfortable, stimulated, and secure. I have two simple goals: For dogs to feel cared for, understood, and relaxed. Also, for pup parents to feel complete confidence knowing their dog is in a safe, attentive home environment.

A typical day

A typical day here is calm, structured, and centered around what keeps dogs happy and relaxed. Mornings usually start with outdoor time in the fenced yard alongside Phil and Buzz, followed by breakfast and a relaxed start to the day. From there, dogs move naturally between playtime, fresh air, and rest — whether that means exploring the yard, lounging inside, or enjoying quiet snuggle time. Throughout the day, pups have regular opportunities to go outside, play or socialize as appropriate, and settle into one of many cozy indoor nap spots. I pay close attention to energy levels so play stays fun and safe, and downtime is encouraged when needed. Evenings are intentionally calm, with dinner, gentle activity, and a wind-down routine that helps dogs feel settled and ready to rest. Each dog is welcome to follow their usual routine or blend into ours. Whatever helps them feel most comfortable, secure, and at home.

To help me provide the safest, most comfortable stay possible, I ask pet parents to share a bit about their dog ahead of time, including: • How they typically interact with other dogs • Any medical needs, medications, or supplements • Feeding routine, dietary preferences, and treats • Crate use or sleep preferences (if applicable) • Any fears, sensitivities, or triggers (storms, loud noises, separation, etc.) • Their usual daily routine or schedule This information allows me to tailor care to your dog’s needs, maintain a calm and predictable environment, and make sure everyone feels comfortable and well cared for from day one.
