“Justice and Kristian did a good job sitting for my dog . They texted and keep me updated on my baby and when we went to pick up and drop off . The family was very friendly and my dog was happy playing with the other dogs . I will definitely use them again”

“Amazing! Roscoe had such a calm and relaxing weekend that when I picked him up, he was apprehensive to leave! I will definitely use Dana again and would recommend her to anyone with small dogs.”

“I was so nervous leaving my dog with a stranger but she was the best!!! She was accommodating and she made sure to communicate and she was very responsive with pictures and text messages. She was very kind and she understood that this is my first time letting my dog stay with anybody else and she was wonderful. She is the best.”

“Luis provided exceptional care for my dog while keeping up unsalted during her stay. Not only did he make sure she had all essentials her treated her as if she was apart of his family. He made entrusting he and his wife with my bundle of joy extremely easy. I would certainly recommend.”

About: My pet care experience comes from raising my own Pomeranians over the past couple of years, plus caring for a range of small and medium dogs and cats owned by family and friends. I have hands-on experience with walking, feeding, and grooming, and I'm comfortable adapting my approach to different breeds, sizes, and personalities. Since I'm currently in the process of applying to grad school, I spend most of my time working from home. That gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability, so I can easily fit boarding into my week and give pets the attention they need. I live in an apartment near a dog park, giving pets plenty of room to explore and play. My two Pomeranians are friendly and social, so your pet will have built-in companionship during their stay. I provide a play pen along with toys for entertainment, and I like to prepare homemade food, such as a broth made with meat, carrots, and pumpkin, for a comforting, home-cooked touch.
“Highly recommend Jacquelyn! My dog looked so comfortable, happy, and well cared for the entire time. The updates were funny and always brought a smile to my face, and it was clear he was treated like family. Would rebook again!”

“Excellent..1st time using her and felt a genuine connection, My Yorkie was able to have fun with the the other dogs and seemed like he felt at home. Thank-you! I will be back!”

“This was my first time using Jaquana and she was very sweet and caring for my pup during his stay. She meet me the week of for a meet and greet and I was very appreciate of that. Her communication was thorough and she also sent updated pictures during the stay. Remi and enjoyed his stay and I couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“Serinette is such a pleasure! I am very picky about who keeps my baby because I do not want him to be mistreated and I want him to always be in a comfortable environment. When he is not near me, I want his care from me to be replicated by his sitter, and Serinette absolutely exceeded my expectations! I can always tell when Lucci hasn't been treated right because he will try and run for the hills to get away from the environment lol but I didn't sense that from Serinette at all. I am so thankful to have found her, this was Lucci's first stay with her and definitely won't be his last! Thanks girl! See you again soon!”

“This was my first time boarding one of my animals and I was very nervous about the situation. Mary Claire calmed all of my fears at our first meeting. She’s knowledgeable, communicative, flexible and most of all, she took such good care of our new rescue pup. Definitely would trust her with any of our animals on future trips and can guarantee we will use her services again!”

“Alvin was great! I’m planning to book him every time I need a sitter. He provided good, timely updates, made my dog feel like part of the family, and made sure my dog was active. I greatly appreciate him and highly recommend.”

About: For the past year, I have provided dog walking and in-home pet sitting through a professional pet care company, working with dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. My regular clients have included nervous rescues, energetic puppies, reactive dogs, and seniors who prefer a slower pace and plenty of time to stop and sniff. I also manage the company’s enrichment toy program, so I understand that great pet care is about more than physical exercise. I use play, puzzles, sniffing activities, and individualized attention to help pets stay mentally engaged, comfortable, and happy. What sets me apart is the level of care and communication I provide. Pet parents can count on me to be reliable, follow instructions closely, and send thoughtful updates with detailed notes, photos, and videos. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, comfort level, and unique personality so their care never feels one-size-fits-all. I am Cat and Dog First Aid certified through the American Red Cross and comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, and nervous or reactive dogs. I am also a lifelong pet owner, so animals have always been part of my home and daily life. For boarding, I intentionally keep my guest list small. I only welcome a few pets at a time so each one receives genuine attention, one-on-one interaction, and a calm, consistent routine. I am home throughout the day, have a secure fenced yard, and share my quiet home with friendly, well-socialized pets who enjoy having company. Think of it less like a boarding facility and more like your pet is staying with a trusted friend who happens to be really good at pet care. Please note: I do not accept bookings without a meet-and-greet beforehand. Since my pets and any current boarding guests share the same space, it's important to me that every new dog is a good fit , comfortable, well-socialized, and safe around the others. A quick in-person meeting lets me observe how your dog interacts, answer any questions you have, and make sure the environment will be a good match for everyone involved Because I work from home, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I am available throughout the day to provide companionship, playtime, potty breaks, meals, enrichment, and plenty of individual attention. This allows me to offer weekday daycare and overnight boarding in my home, where pets can settle into a calm, comfortable routine without spending long periods alone. On weekends, I also offer overnight care in your home. To make sure I can give your pet my full attention while also maintaining a healthy routine for my own pets, I limit these stays to a maximum of three consecutive nights. For cats, I offer 30-minute drop-in visits that can include feeding, fresh water, litter box care, medication, playtime, and affection based on your cat’s personality and comfort level. Cat visits are generally available during the day or evening for homes located within approximately five miles of my home. I also provide dog walks and drop-in potty breaks within my service area. My primary availability is in the morning and evening. Midday visits are more limited, but may be available on holidays or on days when my work schedule allows additional flexibility. I intentionally keep my client list small, which gives me more room to accommodate individual routines and special requests. If your pet’s schedule falls outside my usual availability, feel free to reach out. I will always do my best to find an arrangement that works. Every pet receives care based on their routine, personality, and comfort level. My goal is to create a calm, safe environment where they can relax and feel at home. For boarding, pets have access to a securely fenced yard for supervised play, enrichment, and frequent potty breaks. I have three friendly rescue dogs, but visiting pets are never left with them unsupervised. Pets are separated during meals, when I leave the house, or anytime they need their own quiet space. A meet and greet is required before boarding so we can confirm that everyone feels comfortable and the environment is a good fit. Dogs who prefer their own space can still enjoy walks, enrichment, outdoor time, and plenty of one-on-one attention. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their usual feeding, walking, medication, play, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. I also send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I keep my client list small so each pet receives attentive, personalized care that never feels rushed.

“This was my first time leaving my dog with Sabine and everything went smoothly! Quick communication and she gave several photo updates during the stay. Would definitely book again!”

“Barron is the best! My pup always does great with Barron, whether for a single night or for a week or more. Barron is great about sending regular personalized updates and pictures and my pup always comes home relaxed and happy. He's become our go-to dog sitter and we are delighted to have him. Can't beat that!”

“Jennifer and Nicholas are so wonderful! As a new pup in their care, they made sure Cocoa felt safe and cozy (putting all of her beagle anxieties at ease :) They're excellent communicators, both with written updates and photos/videos, and they make sure each dog is taken care of individually while also having fun with each other. Thanks so much for a truly five star stay!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Conley
Leaving our dogs with someone outside of family is always a bit nerve-wracking—this was only our second time doing so—but Taurus completely eased our minds from day one. Throughout their stay Taurus kept us updated with frequent messages, photos, and videos. Our dogs looked so visibly happy and comfortable in every single picture and video, which allowed us to actually relax and enjoy our trip. What really set Taurus apart, though, was how incredibly accommodating and empathetic they were when things didn't go according to plan. We were scheduled to pick up our dogs at 8:00 PM, but our flight was delayed by over four hours due to a severe tornado watch in Philadelphia. Taurus was amazingly understanding, reassuring, and continued to take wonderful care of our babies until we could safely get back. Both the drop-off and pickup processes were seamless and stress-free. To top it all off, Taurus even packed cute "Pooch and Chop" to-go snack bags for the dogs' ride home! That extra touch of thoughtfulness speaks volumes about how much they genuinely care about the pets in their stay. We cannot recommend Taurus enough. If you’re looking for a loving, reliable, and exceptionally accommodating sitter who will treat your dogs like royalty, book Taurus immediately! We will definitely be using them again.

I found a sweet 6 month old kitten in a parking lot one day and had no heart to leave it there. We took it to the vet, had his rabies shot given and lodged him at Carrollton animal hospital for a week till we could find him a forever home. After getting him discharged we still had not found him a home but did not want to give it to the shelter and me and my friend could not keep him for personal reasons. During this same time my dad had a fall when walking outside and hurt himself really bad and had to be rushed to emergency. In the middle of all this it was hard to take care of the sweet kitten, someone suggested I look up rover for him to be taken care of by pet sitters for sometime. I found MarcJamal there and his profile had 5 stars and great reviews from people who had left his pets with him. This was my first time I had no idea about this platform so that really helped. I booked Marc for 2 weeks to care for kitten while I would be able to take care of my dad and keep finding him a home. Marc was most reasonably priced which I could afford. From the day I went to hand over kitten to him, he came across as the most kind hearted and compassionate person, the right kind to take care of these innocent souls. We felt very relaxed leaving kitten with him as he was so welcoming from that first moment. On an almost everyday basis he would send me pictures and videos and updates on kitten( that's what his temporary name was). Those updates made us so happy and confirmed that we made the right choice by selecting Marc. Miraculously I would say and by God's grace a few days into handing kitten to Marc, we received a text from him that he and his family were planning on getting a cat sometime next year, but after having kitten with them only for those few days they had fallen in love with him and wanted to adopt him into their family. We could not be happier to have found sweet kitten(now named Goose by his forever family) such a loving and caring home. They even got him new toys, scratch board, food, carrier and all the good stuff. All I left with kitten that day was few toys, everything else Marc and his family got for him. I want to thank MarcJamal and his family for being so loving to a stray and deciding to give him a forever home. May God bless you'll with abundance in every walk of life and with good health and helping hands forever. Thank you for everything you are doing and will continue doing for Goose.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
