“Luna stayed with Hope for the week. She was treated like family the entire time she was there. Able to cuddle up with the blankets on the couch, running around in a fenced in yard, and all the kisses she could get. I will definitely be using Hope's services again in the near future.”

“He took great care of my dog and provided daily updates. I was comfortable he was in good hands. His husky mix is adorable and played well with my dog. I booked a 2nd stay.”

“I am so glad my family found a reliable, loving, and personable pet professional sitter. My baby Spike took to her well and she sent a picture of Spike cuddles next to her. I felt at ease as Spike as another one of my kids and Kandice is amazing. The dogs had a room to play in and went of several daily walks, what more can I say? lol 10 outta 10 from me! Peace and love.”

“Mark was amazing! I had to board my dog at the last minute and decided to give Rover a try but was very nervous about it. I saw that Mark had outstanding g reviews and he certainly lived up to it. He’s very kind and gentle and took great care of my pup while I was away. He gave me updates at least twice a day and put my mind at ease. Thanks again for taking such great care of my baby, Mark!”

“Katie was awesome! She sent great photos and updates and it looked like Paisley was getting lots of love and attention! We also appreciated her communication and flexibility. We would definitely book again!”

“Amazing sitter. She loves your dog like her own and it makes all the difference. She went above and beyond. I am so grateful to have found her and that my baby got to spend Christmas with someone who had so much love for her. She even made a little video compilation of her stay for the holidays ❤️ So thoughtfull! I will definitely be booking with her again. She is amazing.”

“Ashley took great care of our Luna, very accommodating when we asked for an earlier drop off and great at communicating with us. Luna seems to have had a good time with Ashley and we received very cute pictures of her. Our previous sitter moved out of the country this summer so we are very happy to have found Ashley.”

“Patrick did an excellent job taking care of my dog while I was away. She’s an anxious rescue and not an easy dog to take care of. She had a hard time adjusting at first, but he handled her with patience and care. He understood her needs and made sure she felt comfortable and safe. He also kept me consistently updated, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I highly recommend Patrick and will definitely be booking with him again. Thank you!”

“Justin was very communicative with us and made us feel at ease leaving our dog for our first Rover experience. He was easy to coordinate a meet & greet with, and flexible about our pick-up drop-off times. Our dog was very happy during her two night stay at his home. Would definitely book again!”

“Antonio took wonderful care of my dog, Lucy — even on short notice! He kept me updated throughout her stay with messages and photos, and his communication was always quick and friendly. Lucy had a great time, and I’d definitely book with him again or recommend him to anyone looking for someone reliable to care for their pet.”

“Briony & Dior took special care of my cat and kitten! They felt safe and comfortable and felt good leaving my 2 cats in their care. Great warm and welcoming people! I will definitely be booking an overnight stay for my cats again with them! 😁”

“Cheryl was great. She kept me informed daily of my dog, Cooper’s stay. I knew about walks, playtime, and his overall adjustment. I was pleased.”

About: I have been helping my daughter, Lyra, build a pet sitting business for a few years now. She is now a freshman in college and has been outsourcing by herself for the past 2 years. She's very responsible but needs occasional back up( Ex: if she has prior engagements then her younger sister and I will step-in!) She is very responsible and engaged with every animal she meets. We have cared for dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, fish, and hamsters. We can bring in mail, water plants, and do any other small house hold tasks! Services: walks, 30-45min visit, and overnight stays. Prices do not change during the holiday's but will vary per client, depending on their animal. Repeat clients rates do not increase every period of stay.
“Our Max is getting older and boarding can be stressful for him. Plus he already struggles with separation anxiety. Samma was wonderful! We did a trial run knowing it was possible that it might not work out. She paid attention to what Max needed to feel comfortable and he had a good night. Even though I worried that it might not work out, I appreciated that Samma wanted to make sure Max was comfortable before a long stay. The fact that she even asked about it says a lot to me about how she cares for animals left in her care.”
“Jessica was genuinely concerned about my pet to give him the best care. Jessica sent pics to me while walking Domino to give me updates. I was very happy with the care my pet received.”

“Raisa is the absolute best dog sitter! I was so nervous to leave my dog with someone else for the first time but after meeting Raisa I was not nervous at all. She sent lots of photos and videos and kept me up to date everyday with how my dog was doing. My dog loves her house (and her fenced in backyard) so much I think he was disappointed to see me. 10/10 would recommend!!!”

This was Miso’s third stay with Jennifer and Nicholas, and they continue to be amazing! They’re always so accommodating, communicative, and genuinely caring. I always receive updates, and I know Miso is in great hands. I feel completely comfortable and at ease knowing she’s being well cared for.

The absolute BEST sitter I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I am so thankful I met Tanisha and her fiancé. My cupcake absolutely loved it there. My cupcake has anxiety and typically does cries when I leave her with someone unfamiliar but from our first meet and greet, I knew I was right where I needed to be. I 10000% recommend Tanisha. You will not regret your decision. Honestly there is no need to look any further. Your dog will receive lots of tinder love and care.

Whitney was amazing and communicative. This was our first time using Rover and not having Paisley stay with friends or family. She made sure to keep us updated daily and made sure paisley was as comfortable as possible too. We would love to book with Whitney again in the future.

Adam did an incredible job. He was friendly, his house is clean and organized, and is set up well for dogs. He has a huge backyard that has plenty of shade. We felt extremely comfortable with Adam and his 2 Shiba Inu dogs Taro and Gobo. Adam was super professional in handling some issues that arose from 3 dogs being stuck in the house during a 4 day period of torrential downpours. He was gracious enough to find solutions to the issues while continuing to watch our dog for the full 2 weeks we were away. We are grateful to have found Adam and would highly recommend him.

Audrey and Isaiah are truly the best power duo you can leave your fur babies with 🙏 I truly am so grateful for the care they give my dogs. Audrey is great at sending pics and keeping me posted, while also having the patience to cater to my (needy) dogs 😅 10/10 will always recommend

Best sitter ever! Nicole was very welcoming. She has the perfect accommodations for any pet. She taught me a few things and made my baby feel right at home. My Izzy made new friends, ate good and had the best time! I would rebook Nicole over and over again! Thank you so much Nicole, you were perfect!

Jackie was fantastic with Jaiyé. She understood his personality, gave him plenty of attention, and respected when he wanted his own space. I appreciated the regular updates and photos, which made it easy to enjoy my trip knowing he was in good hands. Jaiyé came home happy and tired from all the fun. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.

Sabine was absolutely wonderful with my doodle, Benji! As a dog mom, I can be a little nervous leaving him because he’s very attached to me and follows me everywhere, but Sabine made the entire experience stress-free. She was caring, patient, and treated Benji like part of her family. I loved receiving updates and knowing he was safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. When I picked him up, Benji was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It’s obvious that Sabine genuinely loves animals and takes pride in what she does. Having someone I can trust with my fur baby means everything to me. I highly recommend Sabine to anyone looking for a dependable, kind, and attentive pet sitter. Benji and I will definitely be using her services again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Highly recommend! 🐾💕

Emilia is very responsible, punctual, competent, intuitive, kind, sweet, and I could go on. It’s a sigh of relief when she is available to take care of my babies because I know they are in great hands and I don’t have to worry about anything. My dogs absolutely adore her and so do I! Thank you Emilia!

Andrew and Winnie were great sitters. As a first time user of Rover I felt comfortable leaving Kali with them while I was away. The bonus was Mbaku. He’s the same age and breed as Kali and I was so happy to know she would have a playmate while I was away. They shared videos and updates on her during her stay and she returned me happy like she had a great time. I will definitely use them again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
