“Chyanne was amazing with Piper! She sent the sweetest updates and photos, and Piper looked like she was having the best time. She absolutely loved playing with Chyanne’s dogs and settled in right away. I felt totally at ease knowing she was in such good hands. I’ll definitely book with Chyanne again — highly recommend! ❤️❤️”

“This was my first time leaving my dog with Sabine and everything went smoothly! Quick communication and she gave several photo updates during the stay. Would definitely book again!”

“This is our second time working with Audrey and Isaiah and it was just as wonderful! Our dog Niko was so well taken care of and I really appreciate all their excellent communication and photos they send. I love that they only take one dog at a time so we know he gets all their attention. :) You can tell they love animals. It’s so easy getting to their house for drop off and pick up, too - so conveniently located off the highway. I can’t recommend them enough!”

“We couldn’t be happier with our experience! She did an amazing job caring for our dog while we were away for a long weekend. Our pup got plenty of walks, attention, and love the whole time. She also kept us updated with tons of photos and videos, which gave us great peace of mind. A huge bonus was the fenced-in backyard, and we’ll definitely be using her from now on whenever we travel!”

“Kristen was wonderful! Very communicative, very thorough, super kind, attentive, and my very anxious dog took to her right away which is the ultimate test. Really happy to have found Kristen!”

“I’m very happy that I had opportunity to meet Anais and she provided home away from home for my fur baby. She provided pictures of my fur baby along with her beautiful daughters. I’m definitely would recommend her and I will be using her caring heart and love again for my fur baby. Thank you.”

“Whenever I’ve left town and had to find care for my dogs, I always had some worry lurking. The minute Jennifer texted me back, I could feel her love of dogs. We had extensive conversations and she responded immediately. When I dropped my two dogs off, for a 10 day stay, we chatted in their huge fenced yard while my dogs explored and sniffed and approached both Jennifer and Nick, something my shy girl rarely does. I knew then they’d be in great hands. I left feeling they would be safe, have great accommodations and get a lot of attention and play. Throughout my trip I got daily photos, videos and texts, even dressed in Christmas costumes! I could tell that they were beyond comfortable- they were happy and they felt loved. I cannot recommend Jennifer and Nick highly enough. They love dogs, they know what they are doing, they go far beyond what I could have imagined a stranger would provide. I had car trouble when I got home and they brought my dogs to my house! Then I found a bag of treats for each of them. Unbelievably wonderful people who love what they do.”

“Rachel did an amazing job taking care of my dog. She sent frequent updates and photos, made sure she got plenty of exercise, and was clearly attentive the entire time. I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter.”

“One word: amazing! Leaving my fur baby in his care while I left the country & to have him take care of the rest for him to be shipped off went smoothly. The constant pictures and updates really eased my heart, as well as taking extra care of my injured dog. Couldn’t say enough great things!”

About: My pet care experience comes from raising my own Pomeranians over the past couple of years, plus caring for a range of small and medium dogs and cats owned by family and friends. I have hands-on experience with walking, feeding, and grooming, and I'm comfortable adapting my approach to different breeds, sizes, and personalities. Since I'm currently in the process of applying to grad school, I spend most of my time working from home. That gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability, so I can easily fit boarding into my week and give pets the attention they need. I live in an apartment near a dog park, giving pets plenty of room to explore and play. My two Pomeranians are friendly and social, so your pet will have built-in companionship during their stay. I provide a play pen along with toys for entertainment, and I like to prepare homemade food, such as a broth made with meat, carrots, and pumpkin, for a comforting, home-cooked touch.

“We loved leaving our poodle with Briony! She was great with photos and updates and I know she spoiled and really cared for my dog like her own. My dog also had some medical issues right before our trip, and Briony was extra mindful and willing to care for him! We will definitely use her again!!”

“10/10 would recommend!! Very good sitter, communication was great. Very accommodating for early flights and reservations. My puppy loved her stay. Thank you”

“She was great at giving updates on Pilot (videos and photos). I loved knowing that he was happy while we were away. I’d definitely rebook and recommend this sitter.”

“He took great care of my dog and provided daily updates. I was comfortable he was in good hands. His husky mix is adorable and played well with my dog. I booked a 2nd stay.”

“Chasity was great! She kept me updated with my dog throughout the day and was flexible with my pick-up time the following day. Indigo enjoyed her time and we would definitely book again!”

“Althea! Thank you, thank you, thank you, and thank you. I am a first time Rover user and was a bit...hesitant. If you are in a similar boat then go with Althea. I am sold on Rover because of her. She made sure I received updates, she was willing to hear me out about Nico's habits, and was willing to take coaching on how to work with Nico. People like Althea make the world a better place.”

“Kandice is the absolute best. She watched my pup for a week while I was vacationing and I’ve never felt more at ease. She sent consistent updates and pics detailing Cosmo’s day and mood. She’s great with dogs and my pup seemed to pick up some new tricks and training while with Kandice. We’ll be back for sure.”

“Amazing sitter. She loves your dog like her own and it makes all the difference. She went above and beyond. I am so grateful to have found her and that my baby got to spend Christmas with someone who had so much love for her. She even made a little video compilation of her stay for the holidays ❤️ So thoughtfull! I will definitely be booking with her again. She is amazing.”

“Our golden retriever puppy LOVES going to Richard and Samma's house!! He is 9 months old and just finished up his second visit (he first went when he was about 5 months old). Both visits have been long - 7 days and 4 days. Samma posted pictures and videos to their Facebook page almost every day, and she was super responsive when I texted to check in on Franklin. I would recommend Richard and Samma to anyone. They clearly care so much for dogs. They even posted a happy New Year's video on New Year's Eve with the dogs in the background, making sure to capture our sweet Franklin for us! We will use them again!”

Nicole was absolutely amazing. Communication was 10/10. She sent pictures and videos while my baby was with her. Piper settled in well and loved Nicole. If I ever need a sitter again I will most definitely book with her again. Thanks again for keeping my baby!!!! <3

Nala absolutely loved her stay with Kristen! Nala made herself right at home, and was well loved and looked after. I got many picture updates while I was out of the country, and Kristen was very flexible when it came to picking up our girl, since I had to have a relative get her. Thank you so much, I’m sure Nala will be happy to see you again. :)

Adam did an incredible job. He was friendly, his house is clean and organized, and is set up well for dogs. He has a huge backyard that has plenty of shade. We felt extremely comfortable with Adam and his 2 Shiba Inu dogs Taro and Gobo. Adam was super professional in handling some issues that arose from 3 dogs being stuck in the house during a 4 day period of torrential downpours. He was gracious enough to find solutions to the issues while continuing to watch our dog for the full 2 weeks we were away. We are grateful to have found Adam and would highly recommend him.

Audrey and Isaiah are truly the best power duo you can leave your fur babies with 🙏 I truly am so grateful for the care they give my dogs. Audrey is great at sending pics and keeping me posted, while also having the patience to cater to my (needy) dogs 😅 10/10 will always recommend

Jackie was fantastic with Jaiyé. She understood his personality, gave him plenty of attention, and respected when he wanted his own space. I appreciated the regular updates and photos, which made it easy to enjoy my trip knowing he was in good hands. Jaiyé came home happy and tired from all the fun. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.

Emilia is very responsible, punctual, competent, intuitive, kind, sweet, and I could go on. It’s a sigh of relief when she is available to take care of my babies because I know they are in great hands and I don’t have to worry about anything. My dogs absolutely adore her and so do I! Thank you Emilia!

Andrew and Winnie were great sitters. As a first time user of Rover I felt comfortable leaving Kali with them while I was away. The bonus was Mbaku. He’s the same age and breed as Kali and I was so happy to know she would have a playmate while I was away. They shared videos and updates on her during her stay and she returned me happy like she had a great time. I will definitely use them again.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
