Hi, I’m Sabine! I have more than 20 years of experience caring for animals in humane societies and private homes. Having grown up around animals, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your dog while you’re away. At 1972 Bark Avenue, I provide attentive, personalized care in a true boutique home setting—not a loud, crowded kennel. I host small, carefully selected groups of no more than 4 so each dog can receive plenty of individual attention while feeling safe, comfortable, and at home. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with conditions such as blindness, deafness, arthritis, and allergies. I am also able to provide gentle, compassionate end-of-life care for dogs who are nearing the end of their journey. In these cases, my focus is on comfort, dignity, and a calm, peaceful environment where they can feel safe, loved, and supported. Most importantly, I provide the patience, affection, and dependable care every dog deserves while separated from their family. My home includes a spacious, securely fenced yard where dogs can enjoy outdoor time, fresh air, and play. I also share my home with my own sweet dog, Mina. My goal is to make every guest feel like part of the family during their stay. REQUESTED INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR PET Please provide complete and accurate information about your dog’s health, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, temperament, routines, and care needs. You must also disclose any history of biting, aggression, resource guarding, reactivity, escape attempts, destructive behavior, or difficulty interacting with other dogs, people, or children. To protect every dog in my care, I am unable to accept dogs with a history of biting or behavior that may place another animal or person at risk. I am also unable to accept dogs who are known to scale or dig under fences as this presents a serious safety risk in a home boarding environment. Because I provide care in small, carefully selected groups, every dog must be a safe and appropriate fit for the home environment. DURING THE STAY Each day is tailored to the needs, energy level, and comfort of the dogs in my care. Guests enjoy a relaxed balance of indoor playtime, outdoor time in the fenced yard, meals according to their regular schedules, affection, enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to rest. My goal is to maintain a calm, clean, and comfortable home where every guest can safely enjoy their stay.
