About: I've taken care of both dogs and cats since I was 12. I currently care for my own senior dog and kitten. Experience with dogs, cats and ferrets. Can give oral medication. I currently work full time Monday-Friday 8-430 from home. I'm available for early morning and nightly drop ins as well as weekends. I have reliable transportation and willing to try to work around your pets needs When I'm in your home your pets are my only priority and get all of my attention. I have an eye for details whether that's following unique directions for your pet, giving out medications, or ensuring that there are no escape artists.
“Extremely professional, very tentative to my dog's needs, patient and responsible. On time for all scheduled shifts, and ensure communication was consistent. We will most definitely hire him again to watch our fur baby.”

“Shanese is the best dog sitter! We were gone for 8 days and I knew my pup was in excellent hands. My dog was so happy in the pictures and clearly had a great time! Also, she is an older dog and Shanese was wonderful about giving medicine. Appreciate the loving care so much!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was four, and they’ve always been a big part of my life. Caring for them makes me genuinely happy; they bring me peace and joy. I love making dogs feel safe, loved, and playful, and this job would let me earn money doing something I truly enjoy: spending time with animals. I currently work during the week at night so i am only available on the weekends and if needed during the week it would have to be early morning I always make sure pets are well fed, get plenty of playtime, and go on walks. I spend quality time with them so they feel comfortable, loved, and safe while in my care. SERVICES WILL BE DONE AT CLIENTS HOME
“Catherine was so welcoming with our pup. She was patient, kind and very loving. She took the time to give him his space while also showing her authority. We will absolutely be hiring her again. 10/10”

About: I've took care of dogs since I was 6 years old. I had a blind cat that I cared for when I was 17 years old. Feeding and walking are the main ways to keep animals well taken care of. Exercising helps keep the pets in great condition with blood properly flowing to the heart. I'll soon be working on getting my veterinarian certificate/license. I'm currently free everyday just not after 6 o'clock pm. I’m free Friday-Sunday mainly all day. If you need a weekend sitter I can be there. I can keep your dog occupied playing and giving belly rubs. Make sure there are no hazards that the animal can choke on safety first.

“Cabby is wonderful. My pup liked her as soon as they met, which made me feel comfortable and at ease about leaving them together. She was friendly, prompt with all drop-ins, and she communicated well and often. Would definitely recommend!”

“Michael was wonderful with my two very shy cats! He was extremely communicative and sweet and patient with my kitties. Michael also helped me make sure my Roomba was cleaned out so it could properly clean while I was gone - he went the extra mile!”

“Steffanny did a great job with our shy dogs during the drop in visit. She was able to bond with them both, while also giving them enough space to feel comfortable. Prompt response times and lots of pictures of the visit were provided!”

“Juliana responded promptly to my request and was able to feed my cats within just 2 hours of my sitter having an emergency. Complete with pictures of my babies and able to meet the needs of all three of my cats, I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Nothing is more valuable than peace of mind and she provided that!”

About: Animals are truly a gift to our lives. With my love and care I will make sure your precious gift is well loved, groomed, and taken cared of while you’re away. I will take into considerstion all of your pet’s needs and wants, along with yours, to make sure your pet gets the best care possible. This is my first time working as a pet sitter on an official app like Rover, but I have experience taking care of my own pets and walking dogs on WAG!, so I know how much your pets mean to you! Saying this, I am beyond excited to get into the field! I am always open to talk and work around schedules! I hope that you choose me to care for your little (or big) bundle of joy! I’m currently working remote so I have plenty of time to watch, play with, and walk your pet! I often take walking breaks during the work day as well, so I will make sure they get plenty of sunlight and exercise. Your loved one will never be lonely and they will have plenty of company during the day. I will treat your pet like it’s my own: with lots of love and lots of care. I’ll make sure to check your pet daily for any abnormal behavior so that you are immediately aware of anything concerning. In my own home, I’ll make sure to put away things that may pose a danger to them, allow them to smell the area to become familiar with it, and stay in their eyesight so they can learn to become comfortable in my presence. In your own home, I’ll be respectful of your space. I’ll keep your pet from areas that are off limits and make sure to clean spaces that they frequent often. On walks, I’ll keep an eye out on the areas that we walk in and the things they pick up (especially puppies) so they aren’t digesting anything harmful. I’ll take all precautions to make sure your pet is safe and sound!
“Very thorough, thoughtful, and friendly. Took an immediate sense of ownership in my dog’s wellbeing. Great communicator, trustworthy, and flexible. Dog loved her immediately, and I’m sure they had fun together. Would definitely recommend and will utilize again.”

About: I worked at the Philly Zoo when I was 14 so caring for animals has been my interest and passion for a long time. I am also a cat mom of 3 beautiful black cats - two of them kittens- so I know what it takes to take good care of animals! I offer patience, tenderness, and love for every furbaby. I am very attentive to needs and will be communicative along the way! I am a full time director at an after school program so my mornings are free until 9:30a and evenings after 6pm during the work week. Otherwise, on the weekends I am very available! At the moment I will not be housing pets as I have an 11 year old cat and now two kittens (!); but I am happy to meet you where you are and come for drop ins when needed!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - East Point
Madison was an amazing sitter and I would absolutely hire her again to watch my dog. She was very understanding and patient when watching him. He’s got a few little weird traits but she was able to adapt to his needs to make sure he was comfortable while I was away. I received daily updates with pictures and I could tell he was being well taken care of and enjoyed his visits with her.

Sean was our first experience hiring someone to look after our girls. He was extremely responsive, kept us updated, and spent time with our babies. One of them consistently had accidents while we were gone but Sean took care of it every single day no problem. He made sure to spend some time with them in the yard and gave them some brushing due to it being shedding season! Since he lives close to us, he would pop by in to check on them in the afternoon. One of our babies started showing some scary symptoms our last night of vacation and Sean cared as if it was one of his own babies. Sean was fantastic and we highly recommend hiring him!

Anisha was AMAZING!! She is truly one of the only sitters that made me feel that my dog is in the best hands ! I will no doubt re book her time & time again!!! She was extremely responsible & send so many pictures which is so important to me ! Thank you Anisha !!

I had the pleasure of having Adia dog sit for me while I was away, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was responsible, communicative, and clearly cared for my dogs as if they were her own. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind pet sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in East Point with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
