Availability
I’m a teacher on summer break, so I have more daytime flexibility than I normally do during the school year. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and check-ins throughout the summer, depending on the day and location. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine as much as I can.

When I’m caring for pets in your home, I’ll follow your instructions closely and keep their routine as normal as possible. I pay attention to the little things: doors, gates, leashes, food, water, litter boxes, favorite spots, and anything else your pet needs to feel comfortable. I know it can feel weird letting someone else into your home and trusting them with your pet, so I take that seriously. I’ll communicate clearly, send updates, make sure things are secure before I leave, and let you know if I notice anything unusual. Whether your pet needs playtime, space, a calm check-in, or a full report on what the squirrels were doing outside, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and remembered while you’re away.

Information Noah P. would like to know about your pet
I’d love to know anything that helps me care for your pet the right way: their normal routine, feeding instructions, favorite toys, favorite treats, hiding spots, walking habits, leash behavior, and what makes them nervous, excited, or suspicious of me for no clear reason. It also helps to know about medications, allergies, escape artist tendencies, bathroom habits, litter box preferences, commands they know, and whether they’re comfortable with other animals or people. Basically, tell me the weird little details only their family would know. If they hate the mailman, only drink from one specific bowl, need their food arranged like royalty, or believe the vacuum is their mortal enemy, I want to know. Those details help me keep them safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
A typical day
A typical visit depends on your pet’s personality and routine. For dogs, I’m happy to take them on a walk, play outside, toss a ball around, or let them enjoy one of those slow “we must smell every single thing on this street” walks. For cats, I can play with toys, sit with them, talk to them, or give them space if they prefer to supervise from across the room. I’ll also handle the little things that matter: fresh water, food, clean bowls, litter boxes if needed, treats if you want them given, and a quick check of their area to make sure everything looks right. I want pets to feel cared for while their family is away, not just checked off a list. So depending on the pet, that might mean playtime, window-watching, belly rubs, a calm hangout, a dramatic conversation about the birds outside, or, if you have a piano, maybe we’ll write a song together. Mostly, I’ll try to keep things normal, safe, and loving until you get home.

Teacher on Break, Trusted Care
Pet care experience
I’m a high school teacher on summer break, a lifelong dog owner, and someone who genuinely loves being around animals. Teaching has definitely made me patient, calm, and used to paying attention to the little details, which comes in handy when caring for pets. I’m happy to help with both dogs and cats. For dogs, I can help with walks, drop-in visits, feeding, fresh water, playtime, and just keeping them company while you’re away. Whether your dog needs a quick walk, a longer walk, or one of those slow “we must smell every single thing on this street” walks, I’m good with that. For cats, I can help with feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, and check-ins. I also know cats can be very different from each other. Some want attention and company, and some just want a respectful visitor who handles the basics and gives them their space. I’m happy either way. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to let someone care for your animals. I’ll follow your instructions, communicate clearly, send updates, and treat your pets with patience, kindness, and care.

Reviews
Noah has been and an amazing friend to us and our pets (dogs and fish!) for years. He is kind and compassionate toward aninals and is aways game for a good play-session ansd/or walk. Would recommend to all pets, and their humans!
Back when I was living in Atlanta I trusted Noah with my two cats, Wink and Patinkin + my backyard chickens more times than I can count, and he never once let me down. He didn't just check the boxes. He actually engaged with the animals, spending real time cuddling and playing with my cats so they felt loved and stimulated while I was away. He kept my chicken coop clean and the birds fed and watered without me ever having to worry. And as a bonus, he sent me the sweetest photos and videos throughout every stay. Noah was the kind of pet sitter who genuinely cared, and it showed. I traveled with complete peace of mind knowing he was there. Highest possible recommendation.
Noah is an excellent and trustworthy caretaker. He is a neighbor and friend and as such, I have had him stop in to take care of my cat Petunia on numerous occasions. She is always well cared for! He is great with dogs and always gravitates towards the pets at any social function! 10/10 would recommend.
Noah is the best. He’s been as our go-to pet sitter for over seven years now. He’s reliable, communicative, and genuinely loves our cat and dog. He always makes sure they’re happy and cared for, and always keeps us updated and sends lots of pics. I recommend him without hesitation and trust him completely with our pets.
