“Yunju and her partner were the best dog sitters I could’ve hoped for. She sent me photos, videos, and updates multiple times throughout the day of their walks, meals and hang time and made sure our dog was loved on and cared for! She is very kind, super communicative, and fast to respond. She lives in a safe gated community with a dog park nearby. I would 100% recommend Yunju to anyone looking for fun and reliable pet care. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: We are Daniel and Alice! We have raised three dogs, broods of quail and care for any neighborhood cat that find themselves here. Im an avid dog lover who works from home daily and always keep things calm, simple, and safe. Dogs here get access to a fenced in, nearly acre-sized garden where they can roam, smell flowers, fresh cut grass, watch “quail TV”, or cool off in a small pool. There’s a quiet park nearby for walks, and the neighborhood is safe and relaxed. The whole setup is built around giving dogs space, and complete comfort whether you’re at work or on vacation! I work fully remote and am always available to care for any and all needs. During the week I am available for booking at all times. It’s a very laid back lovely place for animals to come and explore. I keep close attention to them and am always supervising to make sure there is a safe and calm atmosphere. The garden itself is completely fenced in and has many varieties of plant species
“Chasity did a great job with my pup. Very communicative, friendly and my pup enjoyed being able to play with her pup while staying. Will for sure use her services again. Highly recommended!!!!”

“Marie was so sweet and kind. She was available last minute for boarding. She kept me updated with photos and videos. I didn't feel the need to worry because I knew Stormy was in good hands. Will definitely book with Marie again”

“Cheryl did an excellent job keeping August. She was kind and patient with her. I will definitely use her services again! She sent pictures and videos and let me know her daily progress.”

“Meredith was amazing! She was so kind, flexible, and accommodating! She watched my cat for a couple of days while I was out of town, and while he was pretty nervous/skittish, she was very patient and moved at his pace. She sent so many pictures and updates and I felt really comfortable with having my baby stay with her!”

“Our dog came back cleaner than we left her. She clearly had tons of fun and Logan sent a bunch of wonderful pictures. I HIGHLY recommend his services!”

“Whitney is a sweetheart and was able to board Apple on short notice with no problem. Kept me updated with videos, and Apple has so much fun playing she was a little sad to go home. Highly recommended!!!”

“Katie took excellent care of Hazel! She sent me daily updates and pictures. Before Hazel’s stay, we had the chance to meet, and Katie ensured that she was fully informed about Hazel’s needs and personality.”

“AMAZING! The moment I read Shawn & Wandie’s Rover profile and reviews, I knew they were the right sitters for my pup, Nutmeg. Because I was a new client, I was grateful that they wanted to set up a meet & greet prior to his boarding dates, just to build comfort in advance. Nutmeg had such a blast with this family - it was like he was at Disney for dogs! They kept him active daily, loved on him, and sent me an abundance of adorable photos and videos - which of course put me at ease being away for a week’s time. My dog is generally a bit timid, and so seeing him smiling in each and every photo, having a blast was everything to me. Shawn and Wandie (and their kids!) were made for dog sitting, they truly have a love and patience for each and every pup. Best sitters on Rover for sure!!!”

“Naomi is a super sweet person and took great care of Bear. She communicated with us via texts and pictures every day! It was reassuring knowing Bear was in great hands while we were gone.”

“I was very nervous about leaving Spade Lee for the second time ever, but Nicole made me feel very reassured and confident and it spilled over into my pup. He came back tuckered out and happy and that’s all I can ask for! Book with her and she WILL take care of your babies!”

“Marilou took such great care of my little Willow. She provided daily pictures and videos and honestly when it was time to pick Willow up, she acted as if she did not want to come home. This is a true testament of how much love and care Marilou provides to her client’s pets. I would definitely recommend her and will bring Willow back when we have to travel again!”

“Akeeme is a great communicator and pleasure to work with - he also pics and videos of Tank enjoying his time. I had a great and easy experience and I know Tank did as well! Will definitely be reaching out again!”

“Layla was so AWESOME and patient with my Madison, constant communications made it easier for me and allowed me to enjoy my out-of-state vacation. I highly recommend Layla and will definitely call on her again. I truly know my Madison was safe, cared for and spoiled. An amazing backyard and good family.”

“Mark is without a doubt the best sitter on this app. When my dog is with him I never have to worry. He sends pictures, keeps me updated and I know my dog is safe and sound. If you can get Mark to watch your dog, book him immediately!”

“I usually leave both my dogs with Mary. This time, my older dog needed surgery with a specialist in another city, so Hachi was on his own. I wasn't sure how he would do since he and Sophie are never separated. He did great, I got pictures of him in Marys' lap, just where he likes to be. I can't thank Mary enough for giving him the attention he wanted and needed!”

We loved leaving our poodle with Briony! She was great with photos and updates and I know she spoiled and really cared for my dog like her own. My dog also had some medical issues right before our trip, and Briony was extra mindful and willing to care for him! We will definitely use her again!!

Excellent caregiver. From the very first moment she was attentive and caring, and my cat felt comfortable and relaxed with her. She kept me informed, and it was clear that she genuinely cares about animals. I would definitely trust her again and highly recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
