“Rachel did an amazing job taking care of my dog. She sent frequent updates and photos, made sure she got plenty of exercise, and was clearly attentive the entire time. I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter.”

“Jesse was super communicative and took great care of my senior dog Punky. She’s not an easy one and she seemed to do well with different food and medicines needing to be given. A few things came up in her visit but he communicated what happened and gave me a few options of how we could handle which was nice. Will definitely keep Jesse as a favorite if I need to board my girl again.”
“Amazing sitter. She loves your dog like her own and it makes all the difference. She went above and beyond. I am so grateful to have found her and that my baby got to spend Christmas with someone who had so much love for her. She even made a little video compilation of her stay for the holidays ❤️ So thoughtfull! I will definitely be booking with her again. She is amazing.”

“Kaylah was amazing with Gracie! She was available last minute and took Gracie for walks and out to breakfast. Gracie got plenty of cuddles and we are so grateful!”

About: I have many years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities from energetic young dogs to sweet seniors who need extra love and patience. What makes my home special is that your dog gets two caring sitters! I’m Alicia, and I provide care alongside my mom, Sherry. Together, we give dogs extra attention, companionship, and a safe, loving environment. I’m located just 7 minutes from Atlanta Airport, making drop offs and pick ups easy for travelers. Your dog will have plenty of space to relax, enjoy walks in our dog friendly community, and play in our fully fenced backyard. On warm days, we turn on the sprinklers for extra fun! We love treating every dog like family and making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while they’re with us. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent, hands on attention throughout the day. In addition, my mom is retired and also a dog lover, so your pet will always have caring supervision and companionship. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. With two attentive adults in the home, your dog will receive 100% hands on care, supervision, and affection throughout their stay. I provide a clean, calm, and structured environment with a dedicated space for your dog to relax. My home also features a large, fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play, along with a spacious, dog friendly community that’s perfect for long, enjoyable walks. Dogs are always supervised, and I take care to create a stress-free environment tailored to each pet’s personality and needs. I can accommodate crate training if needed and will follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules and any special care. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and reliable environment where your dog feels comfortable, happy, and truly cared for.
“Laura was so kind to my baby from the moment I dropped him off to when I picked him up. She updated me frequently and was flexible with the time schedule. Cricket and I thank you!”

“AMAZING! The moment I read Shawn & Wandie’s Rover profile and reviews, I knew they were the right sitters for my pup, Nutmeg. Because I was a new client, I was grateful that they wanted to set up a meet & greet prior to his boarding dates, just to build comfort in advance. Nutmeg had such a blast with this family - it was like he was at Disney for dogs! They kept him active daily, loved on him, and sent me an abundance of adorable photos and videos - which of course put me at ease being away for a week’s time. My dog is generally a bit timid, and so seeing him smiling in each and every photo, having a blast was everything to me. Shawn and Wandie (and their kids!) were made for dog sitting, they truly have a love and patience for each and every pup. Best sitters on Rover for sure!!!”

“He took great care of my dog and provided daily updates. I was comfortable he was in good hands. His husky mix is adorable and played well with my dog. I booked a 2nd stay.”

“Marilou was great with my cat! This was my first time using a sitter and my cat likes to hide because she is very shy, but Marilou was very nice and took great care of her!”

“Yunju and her partner were the best dog sitters I could’ve hoped for. She sent me photos, videos, and updates multiple times throughout the day of their walks, meals and hang time and made sure our dog was loved on and cared for! She is very kind, super communicative, and fast to respond. She lives in a safe gated community with a dog park nearby. I would 100% recommend Yunju to anyone looking for fun and reliable pet care. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Cheryl was absolutely amazing! I’m so glad I chose her to watch Pixie. From the moment we dropped her off, I felt at ease. Cheryl provided regular updates and adorable videos, which really made me feel connected while we were away. Pixie clearly had a great time, she looked so happy and relaxed! I even picked up a few tips from Cheryl that I’ll be using at home to keep Pixie even happier. We’ll definitely be booking with her again. Thanks so much, Cheryl!”

“Jessica accepted a last minute boarding request the day before Thanksgiving. She responded quickly and went to go pick up my fur baby within a couple of hours. She took extra loving care of my fur baby and took her on multiple potty breaks and neighborhood walks. I highly recommend Jessica for boarding. And I will definitely use her again!”

“Such an amazing lady! A ton of updates on our puppy throughout the day, I could tell she did an amazing job watching our boy when he didn’t even seem like he wanted to leave haha. 100% recommend.”

“I'd give 10 stars if I could. With recent long term health issues of one of our dogs, Hope was very understanding and accommodating. She was great and showered both our dogs with love and attention. Thank you!”
“Chasity was great! She kept me updated with my dog throughout the day and was flexible with my pick-up time the following day. Indigo enjoyed her time and we would definitely book again!”

“Katie was awesome! She sent great photos and updates and it looked like Paisley was getting lots of love and attention! We also appreciated her communication and flexibility. We would definitely book again!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Ace! She took amazing care of him over the holidays and sent daily updates with videos that showed how happy and comfortable he was. It was clear he loved spending time with her and the other dogs. I had total peace of mind while I was away and will definitely be booking with her again! Highly recommend!”

Awesome experience booking with Arnoldo! He took great care of our fur baby (5 year old Pitt Bull mix). He has a spacious fenced in yard where our pup could frolic and enjoy the sunshine. He took our pup on a few walks per day and always sent daily photos and videos. We will absolutely be booking with him again. Thanks Arnoldo!

Excellent caregiver. From the very first moment she was attentive and caring, and my cat felt comfortable and relaxed with her. She kept me informed, and it was clear that she genuinely cares about animals. I would definitely trust her again and highly recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
