“I can’t say enough good things about Audrey and Isaiah and the experience of them watching our 9-lb dog, Niko, for us. I was very concerned about our little rescue being with too many other dogs since he hasn’t been off leash with more than one since we’ve had him and it was so amazing to find such loving and experienced dog owners who happened to not have a dog of their own at home right now. I loved that they had their undivided attention to give to our pup. They were so attentive to detail and didn’t seem to mind when I showed up with so many of his things! I didn’t have to ask for updates or photos- they readily sent a few check-ins and multiple pics daily. They have an incredible back yard- super spacious and grassy and flat and they also took him on walks daily as well. The most amazing thing was that he ate and slept well when with them! In the 8 months we’ve had Niko he hasn’t eaten at all on the days we travel - I believe it shows how comfortable and well-taken care of he was with Audrey and Isaiah and I am so grateful. About: I’ve had experience working with dogs for almost my entire life with about 10+ years of walking and sitting the dogs of many close family members and friends. I have previous experience taking care of senior animals, such as my 16 year old Westie Schnauzer who required daily shots of insulin. I currently have two 3 year old fur babies! One cuddly, curious Tabby cat and one playful, yet lazy mixed Shepard. Both of which are very chatty and opinionated at times! We’ve learned to speak each other’s languages through repetition and reward. Over the years, I’ve taught my Shepard a whole assortment of tricks that he loves to show off! During my visits, I like to really figure out what the dog wants to do whether that be going for long walks in the park, playing with toys for hours, or just chilling out on the couch getting cuddles. Any health requirements or specific treatment can be handled without any problem as long as I’m given prior notice and instruction. I am a freelance creative who enjoys being outside more than anything. Walking my own dog is the highlight of my day, and walking yours will just add to the fun! The mornings are prime time for me, however, I do have a very flexible schedule to attend to your fur babies! I personally am very particular about things in my home, so I will be sure to give that same respect to you! Dogs stay off the couch? No problem! Cat loves to scratch something they shouldn’t? I understand that trusting someone with your pet means trusting them with a member of your family, and I take that responsibility seriously. I provide a secure, comfortable, home-like environment where pets can play, relax, and receive plenty of attention while maintaining their normal routines as closely as possible. I carefully supervise interactions between pets and take the time to understand each pet’s personality, temperament, energy level, and individual needs. Introductions are handled gradually and responsibly, and pets can be separated whenever necessary for feeding, sleeping, relaxing, or simply having their own personal space. Feeding is handled individually to help prevent food-related issues, and I closely follow all instructions regarding meals, medications, crate routines, allergies, behavioral needs, and special care. Pets receive frequent potty breaks, supervised playtime, exercise, fresh water, comfortable rest periods, and lots of affection. I also keep pet parents updated with photos and videos throughout their stay. My goal is for every pet parent to leave knowing their pet is in capable hands and for every pet to feel safe, loved, comfortable, and genuinely at home while in my care.
