“Kaylah was honestly the best I could’ve asked for. My animals were well taken care of and they enjoyed their time. She was reliable, responsive and provided pictures daily”

“Kristen was great! She went over and above in walking my dog around the block rather just letting her out in the back yard. I really appreciate the effort and time she spent with Betty. Will definitely be rebooking again soon!”

“Ended up no needing Julianna to come today, but she was there ready to come by if we weren’t going to be home. Julianna is always reliable and dependable. We are so grateful to have her nearby!”

“Saniya was amazing and took perfect care of our cats 😸💕 they are very shy so them coming out to greet here during her time at our home was shows the great energy she has. 100% recommend her!”

“Briony was amazing with Cooper and he really enjoyed his time with her! It was my first time leaving him with a new person. She was very patient, communicative, supportive while I was away. She really went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable with the care she provided. Cooper had several hot spots that were in different phases of healing. She was very attentive to his care and made sure he got what he needed during every visit. Furthermore, after a power outage, my fridge had a leak. She communicated that to me asap and did what she could to ensure there was no additional damage. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!!”

“Sean was our first experience hiring someone to look after our girls. He was extremely responsive, kept us updated, and spent time with our babies. One of them consistently had accidents while we were gone but Sean took care of it every single day no problem. He made sure to spend some time with them in the yard and gave them some brushing due to it being shedding season! Since he lives close to us, he would pop by in to check on them in the afternoon. One of our babies started showing some scary symptoms our last night of vacation and Sean cared as if it was one of his own babies. Sean was fantastic and we highly recommend hiring him!”

“Max took exceptional care of our cat while we were out of town. He was incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and communicative. Highly recommend you trust him with your pet!! Thank you, Max!”

“1000% recommend this sweet lady. She is very accommodating and uncommonly kind. She took very good care of my pet and my house while I was away. Most definitely will be back if needed :)”

About: I’m an animal lover, and have 2 cats of my own. I’ve recently returned to Atlanta after 4 years in Europe. I’ve grown up taking care of both cats and dogs - at the peak we had 4 cats and 2 dogs. I’ve also done pet sitting for friends, family and internationally. I’ve volunteered and fostered dogs through LifeLine, so I have experience with a wide array of ages and temperaments. I have a hybrid job which gives me increased flexibility during the week to care for your family members. I work 9-5, but on my office days I can easily pop home at lunch to check on your pets. Other days of the week, I’ll be working at home. I have a fenced in back yard, so your dog can roam around and explore. I also have 3 bedrooms, so I can separate or crate pets as well as needed to ensure they’re safe and comfortable.
“Madison takes the most wonderful photos of our cats and also takes great care of them when we are out of town! We always look forward to seeing the photos each day.”

“Catherine was so welcoming with our pup. She was patient, kind and very loving. She took the time to give him his space while also showing her authority. We will absolutely be hiring her again. 10/10”

“Daniel was great! He was very accommodating to my pups needs and went the extra mile for her and I. When my dog refused to go out in wet grass, he made a third trip back to ensure she was comfortable and accident-free overnight. I really appreciated his extra care and highly recommend him!!”

“Shannon showed from the greet and meet that she has a lot of experience with cats and that she cares. Glad to have Shannon taking care of my pet and all of the details that come along with that. Shannon kept in constant communication which gave me peace of mind while I was away.”

About: Hi! I’m Nick, a lifelong dog lover and proud dog dad to two friendly pups. I work from home full-time, so your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches during the day. My schedule allows for regular potty breaks, playtime, and lots of companionship. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities and have experience through both pet ownership and volunteering with shelter dogs. I’m comfortable with senior dogs, administering medications when needed, and understanding that every dog has their own routine and comfort level. My goal is to make your dog feel like they’re staying with family rather than in a kennel. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, provide frequent updates and photos, and make sure both pets and their owners feel comfortable and cared for. I work from home full-time Monday through Friday, so your dog will have plenty of company throughout the day. I provide regular potty breaks, playtime, walks when appropriate, and lots of attention. My flexible schedule allows me to maintain your pet’s routine and provide updates with photos, so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure fenced backyard for supervised play and two friendly resident dogs who enjoy meeting new friends. If your dog prefers their own space, I can separate pets as needed and follow your instructions for feeding, medications, crate use, and daily routines. I believe every dog deserves patient, loving care and will be treated like part of my family.
“Matthew was so awesome! I got detailed updates with pictures everyday. He went above and beyond to take care of my pups and make sure they felt loved while I was away. I would definitely book with him again!”

“This was our first time using rover and I am very happy with the experience. Diamond did a great job even after a mix up in addresses for our home. I was nervous since I’ve never had someone who wasn’t family come check on our dogs, but all my pups seemed to have loved her! She was on time and did everything we asked. Definitely a good first experience using rover!!”

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in College Park. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
