“Brittany is by far the best sitter for our aging dog! She put us at ease and made sure to keep us posted on how he was doing. She took such good care. 😊 I will definitely be using her again!!”

“I'm so glad I chose Kristen to dogsit my new rescue pup! Kristen suggested a meet and greet to make sure we were a good fit, and asked questions that made me feel at ease. It was clear she was experienced. She kept me up to date with my pup during her stay, which I appreciated. I would definitely hire her again!”

“Rebecca did an amazing job taking care of our Gordo! She sent pictures and videos multiple times a day and kept us up-to-date on how he was doing. He really got the royal treatment with lots of cuddles and treats. She even bathed him for us before pickup because he played in the mud. We will be going to Rebecca every time we need somebody to watch Gordo!”

“Let me start off by saying that Glenn was an absolute lifesaver! I had an emergency that came up and I had to fly home (I am an OTR truck driver) to Las Vegas and it was too much to take Frankie with me. I contacted Glenn, he responded quickly and agreed to care for Frankie that same day! He was so accommodating and he even came to pick up Frank since I was in a semi truck! He sent me updates, pictures and messages the entire 2 days I was away! If I am ever in need of a sitter in the ATL area, Glenn will be the one and only person I reach out to!”

“We were so grateful Mary was able to take care of our Gryffin! After being able to meet her in person I knew he would be just fine with her. She kept us updated on what he was doing and her photos and videos were an added reassurance that he was ok even though he did miss us as much as we missed him. He will definitely be back if she'll let him!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Morrow
I've used Taurus several times to watch my dog, Sasha, and he's been fantastic every time. Right before I left town, Sasha developed a rash on her belly, and Taurus even gave her a bath, which showed how much he genuinely cares about the dogs he watches. He always sends videos and updates, giving me peace of mind while I'm away. I highly recommend Taurus to anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog sitter!

This was truly one of my best experiences with Rover! Jurkeal stayed in touch throughout my vacation, reassuring me that my babies were in excellent hands. When my flight was later than expected on the day of pickup, she had no problem staying with them longer. I wholeheartedly recommend Jurkeal and will definitely be using her services again! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thank you so much again!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
