About: With over 15 years of hands-on experience as a devoted dog owner, I bring genuine love and deep expertise to every pup in my care. My journey began with Riley, my beloved companion who blessed my life for years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Riley taught me patience, attentiveness, and the unique joy that comes from truly bonding with a dog. Today, that love continues with Kenobi, my energetic and adorable 3.5-year-old, who keeps my dog-care skills sharp every single day. Kenobi and I are always on the move — whether it's our regular long walks, hitting the trails for a hike, or joining our local dog walking group where pups can socialize and explore together. An active dog is a happy dog, and I make sure every dog in my care gets the exercise and enrichment they deserve. My reputation speaks for itself — family and friends have trusted me time and again to care for their beloved pups, knowing they'll be in the most loving and capable hands. That trusted word-of-mouth is the foundation of everything I do. While I'd love nothing more than to expand my fur family, the timing isn't quite right for a second dog — so dog sitting is the perfect solution! It lets me share my home, my heart, and my experience with more dogs who deserve top-notch care. When your dog stays with me, they're not just being watched — they're being welcomed into a home that truly understands and adores dogs. Your pup will be in experienced, caring hands every step of the way. Services Offered: 🐾 Dog Walking 🏠 Boarding 🧩 Enrichment Activities I work from home with a flexible schedule, allowing me to center my day around your pup's needs. Whether it's regular potty breaks, feeding times, nap schedules, or simply cuddle time on the couch, I am fully present and attentive throughout the day. Your dog will never feel lonely or overlooked — they will always have loving company and dedicated care from morning to night! I have one 3.5-year-old Cavapoo named Kenobi who would love to keep your pup company! Crating, playpen setting or free roam can be offered depending on your dog's temperament and individual needs. And if your dog loves the outdoors, my large yard provides plenty of space to run, explore, and play!

About: I’ve been taking care of pets for 14 years now, including my own and many friends, neighbors, and family. I work as a veterinarian. I’m willing to bathe your pets in addition to their basic needs. I know how to administer injections and other medications your pet may need. I take my currents pets out 3 times a day, and feed twice daily. I like taking them to parks once to twice a week if the owner is okay with that. I would take them out as many times as you see fit before and after class. If your pet is social they can play with my 10.5 year old and 3yr old. Both are very dog friendly and easy going. I do request them meeting outside before I bring them in. I do not believe in leaving your pets with mine while I am gone. Therefore the will be seperate when I must leave.

About: I’ve spent my whole life around dogs, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. While I’ve raised puppies—like my sweet girl River, who I had from 8 weeks old to 3 years—I’ve grown to love the rhythm and bond that comes with dogs at every stage of life. What sets me apart is a deep sense of patience, attentiveness, and love that comes from years of hands-on experience. I’m especially comfortable with routines, emotional needs, and making sure your dog feels safe and cared for while you’re away. Whether your dog is energetic, mellow, senior, or somewhere in between, I show up with calm energy, genuine care, and a heart full of love for every pup I meet. I currently work remote so I have the flexibility to go on walks during the afternoon, evening, early morning or whenever they need to go out! I’m currently in an house with no other pets. I have plenty of room for them to hangout and feel safe. I’ll make sure they get lots of cuddles and walks.

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats for the majority of my life, starting with my family's pets and continuing with my own senior dog, Minnie, whom I've cared for for 13 years. This lifelong experience has given me a deep understanding of a pet's needs throughout all life stages. What truly sets me apart is my specific experience with senior care, including the comfort and skill to administer medication like eye drops and pills. I am also confident and capable of handling large, energetic breeds, as I regularly care for my sister's two 70-pound Huskies. I believe in a calm and patient approach to every pet I meet, earning their trust and making them feel comfortable and safe with me. Since I work part-time, my schedule is very flexible and allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine. I can accommodate a range of times for dog walks and drop-in visits, and my flexibility also makes me available for last-minute requests. Pet care is a priority for me, and my schedule is built to ensure I can provide consistent and timely care for every client. When caring for pets, whether it's for a drop-in visit or a dog walk, my first priority is to follow the owner's specific instructions and routine exactly as they are laid out. Before starting, I will ask about your pet's routine, personality, and how they respond to different environments to ensure a stress-free and positive experience. For drop-in visits, I will ensure your pet has fresh food and water, gets a potty break, and has some quality one-on-one time, whether it's through play, cuddles, or just companionship. For dog walks, I focus on providing a safe and enjoyable experience, matching the pace to your dog's needs and energy level while being attentive to our surroundings. I believe clear communication with the owner is key, and I will be sure to provide updates and photos to let you know how your pet is doing.

About: I enjoy playing with and walking with dogs. I don't believe pets should be alone for several hours at a time but should be given time for exercise and attention. Dogs are resilient but their feelings should be considered as well. I do not personally have a dog but I grew up with the hem and I watch my neighbor's dogs by playing with and taking for walks . I can tell the pooches appreciate and love being around me. The owners complain that their dogs want to be around me more than them. Dogs are definitely great companions to have for all walks of life and backgrounds. Thank God for the pooches he has created. I love dogs very much and may get one. I walk 2 to 3 times a day. Each walk last 10 to 15 min. I walk in the morning when it's cool and in the evening when the sun has gone down a bit. I make sure things that can cause harm are not easily accessible to the pets. I also leave a bowl of water down for pets to drink throughout the day.

About: I fell in love with dogs since the age of 4 after being terrified from my first encounter. But after a few more curiosity approaches, I went from being afraid to loving every dog I came across from walks and loving every dog I came across even on the roads. No matted fur or patches will stop me from giving it affection (ask my girlfriend about the dogs I pet on our trips lol) Any moods the fur baby gives I try to match so we both can say (or bark) “yeah this was a great day…now what about treats!” Tend to every need I can, have bathed my own fur baby but no experience with nail trimming (not forcing to do something they don’t like) and always love seeing that wide smiles either from play or from my belly scratches! Working full time so will really be available on every other weekend with some days in the week. Just message me and I’ll let you know my availability! Never want to miss meeting another fur-ones! Constant monitor when at play in case someone decides to eat something they had no business. Will always check area for random loose trash that might look to appetizing for the fur baby. We’re not getting no upset tummies in this (or your) household!

Andretta is sunshine wrapped as a person! Firstly, she replied to my initial inquiry lightning fast and was very thorough in providing details and asking questions about what I needed. I had never done a dog walking service while being away; usually family could watch my dog but this time no one was available. Any reservations I had were immediately erased during the meet and greet with myself, her and my dog. While I was away, I got all of the notifications, reports and pictures from Andretta and felt so relieved that I could travel and know my dog was WELL taken care of! Not to mention, my dog loves her! Andretta is professional, detailed, knowledgeable and very sweet. If family isn’t available, I’ll be booking with her anytime I have to go out of town.

About: Hello! I’m Adreana and I've seen the nitty, the gritty, and the nasty...nothing can scare me away, trust me I volunteered for a shelter in college lol. In terms of my tangible experience, I've logged an immense amount of hours volunteering at animal shelters and pet-sitting for various friends and family. I'm a huge advocate for exercise and fitness for pets so if you leave your dog with me, I guarantee that we will be going on runs and playing outside. I have my own fur baby and she is my whole life, I’ve even opted out of having kids ?? doggies will do. I one day hope to own my own “no-kill” shelter. Having the chance to meet more fur babies , getting to know each personality, and learning more everyday is something i am looking forward to. I do work full time but an early morning shift (4am-12pm) I have the rest of my day, why not fill it doing something i love? Which is pet care! I take pride in animals and often feel as though i can connect with them better than humans! Other than working in the morning my day is free! About: Hi Pet Parents! ☺️🐾 My name is Taylor, I’m 30 years old, and I’d love to get to know you and your furry family! I know it’s stressful to leave your babies in the care of someone else, so I will do my best to make sure your pet’s time away from you is as fun and relaxing as possible! I have been pet sitting and house sitting since I was twelve years old and I also have over eleven years of experience working as a veterinary technician. You can have confidence that I will take great care of your pet(s) while you’re away, including being able to appropriately act in the instance of a medical emergency, thanks to my extensive knowledge and experience in the field of veterinary medicine. I will adhere to any instructions and/or special requests that you may leave for me involving the care of your young or senior pet(s). I’m a very tidy and respectful person and I will treat your home and space accordingly. It will only be me staying in your home, as I do not think it is professional to have others in your home while you’re away. I value your trust in me as your pet’s caregiver and I ensure you that every home I stay in and every pet I watch gets my tender love, care, and attention. I am consistent with keeping pet owners up to date on how their pet is doing with daily texts and pictures/videos. Upon request and for an additional fee, I also offer basic cleaning services and basic grooming services for homes and pets where I will be staying overnight. I can bathe your small, medium, or large dog(s) if you have a space for me to and you are confident that your dog will be behaved well enough for me to safely handle them on my own. It’s a great feeling to not only come home to clean house, but also a clean dog! If you are interested in any of the additional services that I offer, please ask me for some pricing details! I work remotely/hybridly, which allows me to work from mostly from home 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday during the week. Since I am lucky enough to work remotely, that means I will be able to work in your home during the day, which will allow me to be able to spend more time with your pets during my stay. When I do have to leave for work I will be gone for normally half a day 4-6 hrs. During my stay, I like to try to stick to your pet’s normal routine as much as possible, so that they stay as comfortable and as happy as possible while you’re away. I look forward to hopefully meeting you and your furry family soon!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
