About: I've taken care of many animals since I was young, I've been a sitter for 2 fur babies for 2years before I moved and I do have my own sweet girl, she just turned 5 this year. I currently work part-time 4-10pm and I am a college students, so I do make time to be around fur babies, being around pets just bring me peace and happiness especially if I'm keeping company, walking or just playing. I would prefer to walk or go to the pets home, I do have children in my home that are at a very busy age.
“Heather is not only conscious of the safety of my fur baby but also the safety of my premises. She will inform me of strange vehicles and individuals on the property.”

About: Dogs will love playing in the large 1 acre yard that is completely fenced in. They will love staying in a cage-free environment, going for long walks, and being able to relax. Owners will like that I take time to learn each dogs personality to give them the care they need. They will also like that I'm with their dog full-time. I am a foster parent with the Atlanta Humane Society to help work with dogs to prepare them to find their forever homes. My fosters are mainly puppies and young adults. My pet care experience includes caring for puppies, young adults, and seniors, as well as giving medication, eye drops, ear drops, and injections. My home will be your dog's home away from home. Pups are taken out every 3-4 hours for potty and play every day. For dogs that enjoy structured exercise, we will go for leashed walks and take in the sights. Feeding happens twice a day and each pup has their own separate area to enjoy their meals. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly pups to keep your dog company in my home. When caring for pets in my home or your home I'll learn what your pet needs to provide the best care specific to them. My goal is to keep them in their regular routine to make sure they are as comfortable as possible while their parent/s are away.

Having the chance to meet more fur babies , getting to know each personality, and learning more everyday is something i am looking forward to. I do work full time but an early morning shift (4am-12pm) I have the rest of my day, why not fill it doing something i love? Which is pet care! About: I have been caring for dogs and cats for the majority of my life, starting with my family's pets and continuing with my own senior dog, Minnie, whom I've cared for for 13 years. This lifelong experience has given me a deep understanding of a pet's needs throughout all life stages. What truly sets me apart is my specific experience with senior care, including the comfort and skill to administer medication like eye drops and pills. I am also confident and capable of handling large, energetic breeds, as I regularly care for my sister's two 70-pound Huskies. I believe in a calm and patient approach to every pet I meet, earning their trust and making them feel comfortable and safe with me. Since I work part-time, my schedule is very flexible and allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine. I can accommodate a range of times for dog walks and drop-in visits, and my flexibility also makes me available for last-minute requests. Pet care is a priority for me, and my schedule is built to ensure I can provide consistent and timely care for every client. When caring for pets, whether it's for a drop-in visit or a dog walk, my first priority is to follow the owner's specific instructions and routine exactly as they are laid out. Before starting, I will ask about your pet's routine, personality, and how they respond to different environments to ensure a stress-free and positive experience. For drop-in visits, I will ensure your pet has fresh food and water, gets a potty break, and has some quality one-on-one time, whether it's through play, cuddles, or just companionship. For dog walks, I focus on providing a safe and enjoyable experience, matching the pace to your dog's needs and energy level while being attentive to our surroundings. I believe clear communication with the owner is key, and I will be sure to provide updates and photos to let you know how your pet is doing.

About: I fell in love with dogs since the age of 4 after being terrified from my first encounter. But after a few more curiosity approaches, I went from being afraid to loving every dog I came across from walks and loving every dog I came across even on the roads. No matted fur or patches will stop me from giving it affection (ask my girlfriend about the dogs I pet on our trips lol) Any moods the fur baby gives I try to match so we both can say (or bark) “yeah this was a great day…now what about treats!” Tend to every need I can, have bathed my own fur baby but no experience with nail trimming (not forcing to do something they don’t like) and always love seeing that wide smiles either from play or from my belly scratches! Working full time so will really be available on every other weekend with some days in the week. Just message me and I’ll let you know my availability! Never want to miss meeting another fur-ones! Constant monitor when at play in case someone decides to eat something they had no business. Will always check area for random loose trash that might look to appetizing for the fur baby. We’re not getting no upset tummies in this (or your) household!
About: I’ve been taking care of pets for 14 years now, including my own and many friends, neighbors, and family. I work as a veterinarian. I’m willing to bathe your pets in addition to their basic needs. I know how to administer injections and other medications your pet may need. I take my currents pets out 3 times a day, and feed twice daily. I like taking them to parks once to twice a week if the owner is okay with that. I would take them out as many times as you see fit before and after class. If your pet is social they can play with my 10.5 year old and 3yr old. Both are very dog friendly and easy going. I do request them meeting outside before I bring them in. I do not believe in leaving your pets with mine while I am gone. Therefore the will be seperate when I must leave.
About: I’ve spent my whole life around dogs, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. While I’ve raised puppies—like my sweet girl River, who I had from 8 weeks old to 3 years—I’ve grown to love the rhythm and bond that comes with dogs at every stage of life. What sets me apart is a deep sense of patience, attentiveness, and love that comes from years of hands-on experience. I’m especially comfortable with routines, emotional needs, and making sure your dog feels safe and cared for while you’re away. Whether your dog is energetic, mellow, senior, or somewhere in between, I show up with calm energy, genuine care, and a heart full of love for every pup I meet. I currently work remote so I have the flexibility to go on walks during the afternoon, evening, early morning or whenever they need to go out! I’m currently in an house with no other pets. I have plenty of room for them to hangout and feel safe. I’ll make sure they get lots of cuddles and walks.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
