About: Hi! My name is Tyson, and I’ve been around animals my entire life. Growing up with pets taught me early on how important patience, consistency, and love are when caring for animals. I currently work in childcare as a nanny and babysitter, and many of the families I work with also trust me with the care of their dogs inside their homes. Over the past seven years, I’ve gained experience caring for other people’s pets, including walking, feeding, bathing, nail trimming, and general grooming support. I also have my own Cane Corso at home, so I’m very comfortable handling large and strong breeds. I grew up with Kelpie sheepdogs and have always been amazed by a dogs intelligence, loyalty, and energy. As an endurance athlete, I'm already out walking and hiking several times a week, so I love bringing energetic four-legged companions along for the adventure. If your dog thrives on long walks in nature or by the river in addition to neighborhood strolls, you've found the right walker. I specialize in giving high energy, active dogs the exercise and mental stimulation they crave through longer walks on the Atlanta BeltLine, local parks, the Chattahoochee and nature trails. What you can expect: • Long, engaging walks tailored to your dog's energy level • Plenty of water breaks and a safety-first approach • Lots of sunshine and fresh air. For longer trail runs and hikes, I require a minimum hour booking however 90 mins to 120 mins is best to allow for travel time. I prefer early mornings before rush-hour traffic or between 10am–12pm, when we can make the most of the cooler, quieter hours outdoors. I’m also happy to accommodate regular walks, drop-ins and other pet-care needs throughout the day. Your doggo’s safety and wellbeing always come first. I’m especially passionate about caring for active dogs who love long walks, trail hikes and exploring the outdoors, but I’m equally happy to care for dogs who prefer a slower stroll, a backyard hangout or plenty of couch time. For trail adventures, I choose dog-friendly routes based on your dog’s fitness, age, temperament and experience, and I always carry water, waste bags and a phone. I keep a close eye on dogs throughout our time together and follow your instructions around leash use, recall, feeding, medications and any other routines that help your dog feel comfortable and secure. Repeat clients rates do not increase every period of stay.

I work part-time as a server and would love to spend the rest of the week with some furry friends. For dog sitting, I will need a week in advance to clear up any schedule conflicts, otherwise I may need to pop in and out throughout the day. When I’m out on dog walks, I really value your dog’s safety. I always carry pepper spray to make sure I can protect your dog if an aggressive dog charges during our walk. I also use body block techniques to keep your dog safe when off-leash dogs are around. I usually steer clear of other dogs on walks unless you specifically let me know that it’s okay for your dog to greet and interact with them. I prefer to be safe rather than risk your furry friend getting hurt. For cats, I’ll make sure they stay indoors unless you have a catio. If I do take cats to a catio, I’ll always supervise and play with them for a bit before leaving them to nap happily.
