“Kourtney was very professional, she sent pictures and photos of my sweet puppy. She took great care, Toffee was very happy and took to Kourtney immediately. I would recommend her to anyone .”

About: I have a husky mix and a German shepard, two tuxedo cats and one orange cat. I have always lived with pets and make sure to take the upmost care of them. I am a full time student. I take some classes online so I am pretty much home as much as possible. Gives me a ton of time for walks and play time. My care depends on the pet. Each pet needs are different. My German Shepard demands to play fetch 10 times a hour. My tux cat wants pets 2 times a day ish. I pay attention to each pet so they get the care they want/need.
“Brittany made Braxton and I feel welcome. I was a little nervous about leaving my big boy with a stranger. However, she sent me pictures of his activities which help satisfy my anxiety. This was also the first time he had a playmate. She let me know how both our pets were having a great time playing together. That was a positive for Braxton. She had him and his belongings ready for pick up on his last day. He was excited to see me was as I him. Thank you Brittany for reassuring me and taking good care of Braxton. I definitely would use her again.”

“Diamond is so kind! We had no worries. Her and her family were great! They took good care of our dog sheriff and sent pictures each day ♥️ She was so thoughtful and at an affordable price. We are very thankful and would highly recommend them to anyone!”

“Ms. Viet is a lovely Rover sitter! She has a genuine love for doggies, and doggies love her! My pup was soooo happy with her, and didn’t want to leave. She was a sweetheart and spoiled him with love and playtime! Ms. Viet was also wonderful to work with regarding communication for pickup/drop off times. I was very thankful for her flexibility! Her home is beautiful too, and awesome for doggies!”

“Joshua was wonderful my pet felt very comfortable with him from the moment he met him. It was just such a smooth transition . The next time my family goes out of town. I will be using Joshua again.”

“In all the constant photo updates it really looked like Odie had a great time with Shanique. She was also very responsive and took care of Odie as if it were her own pet. I'm glad I chose her and am happy to say that all the photos will be memorabilia of my pet's separate vacation from us.”

“My son stayed for a week and I felt very comfortable with him there. She provided pictures which comforted me on my trip. I almost thought my dog forgot about me because he was having such a good time !”

“Thanks for take such good care of my furbaby. Krystale was great and gave me daily update on Kobe. She was very informative of Kobes day and when we picked up he was happy. Thanks Kystale”

“Jalil sent pictures regularly and kept me updated while he provided boarding Nipsey. That made me feel so much better while away. I knew he was in good care. Every picture was of my boy smiling and enjoying himself. We love Jalil!”

“Janii is always amazing, I have booked with her twice now and will do so again. My dog absolutely loves her, and she creates such a comforting and attentive space for my fur baby! She makes sure that my pup is comfy and gets all the rubs that she wants, and as an owner, she always reassures me that everything is great and handled. She makes traveling a breeze!”

“Jewel was amazing!! My puppy was well taken care of and enjoyed her stay. Jewel sent updates and pictures throughout the day to keep us updated. Thank you for helping us out!”

“Ivanis is so very thoughtful and caring for our little girl. She is dependable and trustworthy. This is the second time we have had Ivanis watch our girl and she didn’t disappoint. I will ONLY ask Ivanis when I’m heading out of town. She is the best person for the job!”

“Sydney agreed to watch my dog Bear last minute and did a great job! I was pretty worried because he can be moody and occasionally resource guard. Everything was ok though and we had no issues. I recommend :-)”

“Great week-long stay with Sarah! We received daily updates/pictures, and our pup made lots of friends while we were away. Lots of outdoor play time and even got a bath! Would definitely recommend Sarah!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Stockbridge
Amazing sitter! Jessica was very responsive and supportive with my concerns. She treated Rocko as if he was her own and I am very grateful because my boy is a big baby. She also sent updates and videos to ease my nerves. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.🐾

Great experience with Glenn! He was responsive and I love the close proximity of the location. The only thing that would have made Kurry first stay here better would have been receiving an unsolicited photo/video update at least once during the stay. We will definitely be back often so Kurry can socialize with the other dogs and so he can get respite from me lol.

Ruth was excellent with Lola! I received photos and video updates throughout the entire booking and Lola was enjoying herself every time. I can see that my pup was cared for and loved and I’m so happy I chose Ruth and i would recommend anyone to book with her!! Thanks again❤️❤️

Christeria was an amazing dog sitter! She watched my two dogs, Max and Poppy, and did an incredible job with both of them. Poppy is a Lab–Pitbull mix who has anxiety and doesn’t do very well with other dogs, but Christeria was patient, understanding, and truly took the time to work with her. I felt so relieved knowing Poppy was in capable and compassionate hands. Max, my small Dachshund–Shih Tzu mix, was also well cared for and comfortable the entire time. Christeria was excellent with communication and kept me updated, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive dog sitter. I will absolutely be using her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
