“Where do I start? The beginning… Josi and Ricky were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC and AMAZING with my Ellie. We had a meet and greet 2 weeks before my family’s big trip to NYC for a big family event. The stars aligned and Mother Nature decided to give us a gift of snow & ice on the day that our flight was to leave. Josi was incredibly flexible with our drop off time. In our mad rush out of the door I forgot Ellie’s home-cooked meals (Ellie has allergies) in our refrigerator and I couldn’t turn back because of the snow. Josi cooked for my baby! She and her family sacrificed so much to care for and comfort my anxious 5lb Ellie. Fast forward to the day of pickup. My family’s flight was significantly delayed and we weren’t going to land back in the state until 11:30, Josi was sooo accommodating and allowed me to pick her up the next morning. Ricky met me with such understanding and kindness. Ellie was groomed and smelling so good. I absolutely cannot say enough about Josi. We will certainly use her again. About: I've taken care of many animals since I was young, I've been a sitter for 2 fur babies for 2years before I moved and I do have my own sweet girl, she just turned 5 this year. About: I understand animal behaviors and aspire to be a trainer eventually. While working in a boarding facility I noticed the dogs were not happy, uneasy and confused. Some wouldn't eat for days, some wouldn't go potty outside, and most would desperately look for their owners during our walks. And don't even get me started on how disarrayed the cats were. From that experience I knew I wanted to encourage pet owners if they must leave their pets, leave them at home, or in a homely environment, where they can be undividedly attended to, loved and cared for. I do understand last minute issues and do try to help where I can. I had a dog that passed away in 2018 of December and this is how I get my pet fix lol. About: Dogs have been such a special part of my life. I recently had to rehome my Morkie, who I loved and cared for over 3 years, due to going back to school to pursue my Master’s degree in Nursing. While it was a hard decision, it has opened the door for me to continue expressing my love for dogs through pet sitting.
