“Briony & Dior took special care of my cat and kitten! They felt safe and comfortable and felt good leaving my 2 cats in their care. Great warm and welcoming people! I will definitely be booking an overnight stay for my cats again with them! 😁”

“Absolutely fantastic sitter! This was my first time booking with Rover. I was extremely nervous leaving my fur baby (who has horrible separation anxiety) with a stranger. Mary Claire was amazing. Her communication was quick and thorough. She sent photos each day of our sweet girl and my fur baby even cried when leaving. I would absolutely book with Mary Claire again!!”

“Katie was awesome! She sent great photos and updates and it looked like Paisley was getting lots of love and attention! We also appreciated her communication and flexibility. We would definitely book again!”

“Tavia was a perfect host!! She treated Luna like a queen. Luna loved her pets as well. I enjoyed getting videos and pictures everyday. She took her for walks and played outside with her too. Luna had a great time and we had peace of mind that she was well taken care of. We will definitely choose Tavia any time we travel now.”

“He took great care of my dog and provided daily updates. I was comfortable he was in good hands. His husky mix is adorable and played well with my dog. I booked a 2nd stay.”

“She was very responsive, super lenient on when you need to pickup and drop off, and best part I could tell my dog was loved. She definitely cares about animals and sends pictures throughout the trip as well. Would definitely book again!”

“Alannah was amazing with my pup! She kept me updated throughout the whole weekend and went out of her to make sure Sadie was comfortable. I will definitely book her again🥰”

“Mrs. Janet was wonderful to work with. Richie enjoyed his time with her. She kept me informed about how he was doing. She loved on Richie as if he were her own. I will be using Janet C again.”

“Glenn was great, our two dogs were a little nervous when I dropped them off but after their two day stay they didn’t want to leave. They ran back into his house. They were happy and smell great. If I need a sitter again no doubt I will use Glenn again.”

“Rebecca did an amazing job taking care of our Gordo! She sent pictures and videos multiple times a day and kept us up-to-date on how he was doing. He really got the royal treatment with lots of cuddles and treats. She even bathed him for us before pickup because he played in the mud. We will be going to Rebecca every time we need somebody to watch Gordo!”

“Such an amazing lady! A ton of updates on our puppy throughout the day, I could tell she did an amazing job watching our boy when he didn’t even seem like he wanted to leave haha. 100% recommend.”

“I've used Taurus several times to watch my dog, Sasha, and he's been fantastic every time. Right before I left town, Sasha developed a rash on her belly, and Taurus even gave her a bath, which showed how much he genuinely cares about the dogs he watches. He always sends videos and updates, giving me peace of mind while I'm away. I highly recommend Taurus to anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog sitter!”

“Kim was super communicative and flexible with boarding Biscuit, and proactively sent updates every day with the best zoomie pics. Biscuit had so much fun with her new friends and will be excited to go back. Thank you for letting her take over your backyard!”

“Amazing as always. We book with Hanifah all the time and my fur baby loves her. My baby is older and has health issues. It's important to have a consistent sitter for her and Hanifah is so great with her. Can't wait for next time. 🥰”

“Isabel was very accommodating for our last minute sitter needs. She's friendly, polite, and loves Beau Kai! We felt at ease leaving him in her care and will definitely use her services again!”

“Justin was very communicative with us and made us feel at ease leaving our dog for our first Rover experience. He was easy to coordinate a meet & greet with, and flexible about our pick-up drop-off times. Our dog was very happy during her two night stay at his home. Would definitely book again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Forest Park
Leaving our dogs with someone outside of family is always a bit nerve-wracking—this was only our second time doing so—but Taurus completely eased our minds from day one. Throughout their stay Taurus kept us updated with frequent messages, photos, and videos. Our dogs looked so visibly happy and comfortable in every single picture and video, which allowed us to actually relax and enjoy our trip. What really set Taurus apart, though, was how incredibly accommodating and empathetic they were when things didn't go according to plan. We were scheduled to pick up our dogs at 8:00 PM, but our flight was delayed by over four hours due to a severe tornado watch in Philadelphia. Taurus was amazingly understanding, reassuring, and continued to take wonderful care of our babies until we could safely get back. Both the drop-off and pickup processes were seamless and stress-free. To top it all off, Taurus even packed cute "Pooch and Chop" to-go snack bags for the dogs' ride home! That extra touch of thoughtfulness speaks volumes about how much they genuinely care about the pets in their stay. We cannot recommend Taurus enough. If you’re looking for a loving, reliable, and exceptionally accommodating sitter who will treat your dogs like royalty, book Taurus immediately! We will definitely be using them again.

Adreana was my last-minute result, so I gave her a shot! I contacted her and she "Accepted" the boarding for my three (3) fur babies. Upon arrival at her place of residence, she met me at the driveway entrance with a big, welcoming smile. I knew then my worries could be put aside. She grabbed two of the harnesses, and we went inside and chatted for a bit, got introduced to her fur baby (Shitz Tzu), very friendly and well-mannered. My three (3) had found a new friend. She sent pictures and updates. Well book again with this sitter.. Oh, an inside joke: Lexi is not pregnant...

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
