“I can’t say enough good things about Monica! She was a lifesaver when I needed a last-minute sitter with a home boarding setup that was more fitted for my anxious doggo's needs over the Labor Day week. She went above and beyond caring for my pup. She sent frequent photos and videos that showed my dog was happy, eating well, and getting plenty of exercise. It gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Her own dog, Hershey, has such a sweet temperament and you can tell he is a good companion for other dogs during their stay. I would absolutely book with Monica again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”

“I love how she cares for my fur baby. My fur baby was on medication and she continued his treatment while in her care. My fur baby is comfortable in her care. I am at ease knowing he’s with Sarah.”

“Kandice was great as always. She picked up/dropped off Cosmo since I was traveling and everything went so smoothly. Kandice takes such great care and pays attention to the little things that I never have to worry while I’m away. Looking forward to Cosmo’s next visit with her and Diego. 😄”

“Katie is such an amazing sitter. She takes great care of my dog while I’m away for work. She sends updates and pictures, and always makes time for lots of walks and play time. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Rachel was so wonderful with my boys. She was kind enough to accept a last minute booking and was so flexible. They seemed to settle down and get comfortable very soon. They got a lot of outdoor time, and I got a bunch of photo updates. I would definitely recommend Rachel to anyone needing a stay for their pups.”

“Kristen took great care of my girl. I even had to ask her last minute to give her some meds every day and there was zero problem with that. I would definitely re-book with her.”

“Our puppy had the best time with their family and the other dogs! He was well taken care of and very tired when we picked him up! We will definitely be using them for dog sitting again soon:)”

“Great as always! Love to leave our dog with Brielle- she provides a sense of security that allows you to relax knowing that your dog is in extremely well hands. That peace of mind is worth every penny.”

“Yunju and her partner were the best dog sitters I could’ve hoped for. She sent me photos, videos, and updates multiple times throughout the day of their walks, meals and hang time and made sure our dog was loved on and cared for! She is very kind, super communicative, and fast to respond. She lives in a safe gated community with a dog park nearby. I would 100% recommend Yunju to anyone looking for fun and reliable pet care. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

“This is our second time using Shawn and Wandie— they continue to treat Cocoa with love and excitement. They communicate throughout the stay with fun pictures and videos. Cocoa had so much fun during her stay she can’t wait to return!”

“Eden was AWESOME. She was able to help me out on fairly short notice and watch my fur babies. I greatly appreciated her patience watching them and being able to take care of them during our home remodel.”
“Laura was so kind to my baby from the moment I dropped him off to when I picked him up. She updated me frequently and was flexible with the time schedule. Cricket and I thank you!”

“Jessica was absolutely amazing! She’s sweet, warm, and kept great communication throughout. It was my first time using a sitter for my puppy, and I’m so glad I chose the perfect person. Thank you, Jessica!”

“Trinise was awesome! From the meet and greet to the drop off then pick up, she made the process smooth and I was very comfortable. He is a big dog so you’re always on the fence if he can be handled. I love how she has it setup like a daycare, you don’t even go inside you just drop off and pick up, it helps build the Trust. Plus she sends pictures and videos so you can see how well your dog is doing in her care. Her having her daughter there to play with my big baby sealed the deal. I can tell that he was soaking in all the attention, when I picked him up he wanted to get back out of the car. I love that for him and will absolutely book again with no questions!”

“Audrey was fantastic! You can tell she really loves what she does and takes special care of all the animals she looks after. Leading up to and during our vacation she communicated well and sent regular updates/photos. Our pup clearly felt right at home with Audrey. Highly recommended!”

“Daisy was incredible! This is my first time looking with Rover so I was a little bit stressed but from the jump she made me feel comfortable – and was extremely communicative the entire time as well as flexible with my schedule. She provided lots of daily pictures and updates. Love her so much we’ve already booked our next day with her!”

Nala absolutely loved her stay with Kristen! Nala made herself right at home, and was well loved and looked after. I got many picture updates while I was out of the country, and Kristen was very flexible when it came to picking up our girl, since I had to have a relative get her. Thank you so much, I’m sure Nala will be happy to see you again. :)

Adam did an incredible job. He was friendly, his house is clean and organized, and is set up well for dogs. He has a huge backyard that has plenty of shade. We felt extremely comfortable with Adam and his 2 Shiba Inu dogs Taro and Gobo. Adam was super professional in handling some issues that arose from 3 dogs being stuck in the house during a 4 day period of torrential downpours. He was gracious enough to find solutions to the issues while continuing to watch our dog for the full 2 weeks we were away. We are grateful to have found Adam and would highly recommend him.

Adreana was my last-minute result, so I gave her a shot! I contacted her and she "Accepted" the boarding for my three (3) fur babies. Upon arrival at her place of residence, she met me at the driveway entrance with a big, welcoming smile. I knew then my worries could be put aside. She grabbed two of the harnesses, and we went inside and chatted for a bit, got introduced to her fur baby (Shitz Tzu), very friendly and well-mannered. My three (3) had found a new friend. She sent pictures and updates. Well book again with this sitter.. Oh, an inside joke: Lexi is not pregnant...
I found a sweet 6 month old kitten in a parking lot one day and had no heart to leave it there. We took it to the vet, had his rabies shot given and lodged him at Carrollton animal hospital for a week till we could find him a forever home. After getting him discharged we still had not found him a home but did not want to give it to the shelter and me and my friend could not keep him for personal reasons. During this same time my dad had a fall when walking outside and hurt himself really bad and had to be rushed to emergency. In the middle of all this it was hard to take care of the sweet kitten, someone suggested I look up rover for him to be taken care of by pet sitters for sometime. I found MarcJamal there and his profile had 5 stars and great reviews from people who had left his pets with him. This was my first time I had no idea about this platform so that really helped. I booked Marc for 2 weeks to care for kitten while I would be able to take care of my dad and keep finding him a home. Marc was most reasonably priced which I could afford. From the day I went to hand over kitten to him, he came across as the most kind hearted and compassionate person, the right kind to take care of these innocent souls. We felt very relaxed leaving kitten with him as he was so welcoming from that first moment. On an almost everyday basis he would send me pictures and videos and updates on kitten( that's what his temporary name was). Those updates made us so happy and confirmed that we made the right choice by selecting Marc. Miraculously I would say and by God's grace a few days into handing kitten to Marc, we received a text from him that he and his family were planning on getting a cat sometime next year, but after having kitten with them only for those few days they had fallen in love with him and wanted to adopt him into their family. We could not be happier to have found sweet kitten(now named Goose by his forever family) such a loving and caring home. They even got him new toys, scratch board, food, carrier and all the good stuff. All I left with kitten that day was few toys, everything else Marc and his family got for him. I want to thank MarcJamal and his family for being so loving to a stray and deciding to give him a forever home. May God bless you'll with abundance in every walk of life and with good health and helping hands forever. Thank you for everything you are doing and will continue doing for Goose.

Nehda has been Henry’s go to sitter for over a year now. Nehda gives my pup all the attention he needs and gives plenty of updates through his stay. Nehda is super flexible and communicative with drop offs and pick up times. She is always the first sitter I go to when I need someone quickly! I can also tell how excited and comfortable my pup is by the way he jumps out of the car as soon as we get to Nehda’s home. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
