“Devan was wonderful house/dog-sitting our two dogs for two weeks while we were out of town. He was very professional and came over the week before to meet the dogs. We were able to see how he interacted with them and trust that he could handle them! He took great care of them while we were gone, shared regular updates, and cleaned up after himself and the dogs before we got home. We would absolutely recommend Devan for any dogsitting or animal care and hope to work with him again.”

“This is a repeat booking. Sydney is a conscientious house sitter, they are great with the kitties, show up on time and even took care of taking out the trash and washing the bedding. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Lois does a great job taking care of our home and our pup. We feel so much more comfortable traveling now that we know we have someone taking care of our dog and his separation anxiety.”

About: I grew up with a chocolate lab and took in two cats in high school. I’ve primarily had cats as pets recently (and have become a master at giving cats pills). I’ve dog sat and cat sat for several friends. I always have a great time watching their home while spending time with their fur babies. I work fully remote for my 9-5 as well so any home with good wifi I can be there the whole working day. I have good experience giving cats pills and liquid medicine. I work remotely so I can work from any home with good wifi. So if your pet gets lonely I can keep them company all day long. For things that require a routine or specific timing, such as medicine, I set alarms and calendar reminders. I love getting a clear list of expectations from the pet owner of how to treat their specific pet. Every pet is unique and I want to make sure I’m caring for your pet in the way best for them! I’ve watched cats that needed three pills in the morning and one at night. I’ve watched dogs with special dietary restrictions where I had to tear up boiled chicken for them. I’ve also watched kitties that just want cuddles all day long and dogs who want to play fetch all day long. I always try to accommodate best I can!
“Abbigail and Cody were so great with my animals. I’m so happy to have found them on here. My dog has quite a personality and absolutely adores them. Will be booking again because I feel confident he will be happy and safe when they are around. Really great people.”

“Jose was a fantastic in-house sitter for my Labrador Retriever, she took to him immediately and he was a great communicator, sending plenty of updates and pics. He left my house neat as a pin, I will definitely utilize his services again!”

About: Hi :)) I love exercising and being outdoors and nothing is better than doing that with a dog! I love walking and taking care of dogs and I have plenty of experience with dogs (young and old) and their dietary needs, exercise/physical concerns, and making sure that their overall wellbeing is taken care of and adored :)) Looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies!! I graduated from UGA with an Economics degree and am currently in school part time (again :(( lol), as well as studying for my CPA exams, so I have a very flexible schedule! I typically exercise early, it could be very early (6am) to 2:00pm in the evening, so I am very open between those times any day of the week to take care of your pet(s) :)) Later evenings are perfectly fine as well! Please let me know what you would like for me to do for your dog (pets), their dietary and exercise/physical needs, and if house sitting along with your pet, what I need to do specifically for your household to ensure a smooth experience! I am more than willing to accommodate and want to make sure everyone is happy and healthy!
About: Hi! My name is Tyson, and I’ve been around animals my entire life. Growing up with pets taught me early on how important patience, consistency, and love are when caring for animals. I currently work in childcare as a nanny and babysitter, and many of the families I work with also trust me with the care of their dogs inside their homes. Over the past seven years, I’ve gained experience caring for other people’s pets, including walking, feeding, bathing, nail trimming, and general grooming support. I also have my own Cane Corso at home, so I’m very comfortable handling large and strong breeds. Because of this, I’m confident managing leash pullers on walks and working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I pay close attention to dog body language and always aim to create a calm, safe, and fun environment for every pet in my care. I’m an active person and love engaging with dogs through walks, playtime, and enrichment so they stay happy and stimulated. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and has a great time while you’re away. I do childcare as far as being a nanny from 2:40 pm to 6 PM Monday through Friday so I am available anytime before or after that time. And I am available all weekend long. When caring for pets, my main priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for just like they would with their owner. In a client’s home, I respect their routine as closely as possible. I follow feeding schedules, walking routines, and any specific instructions to help the pet stay relaxed in their familiar environment. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and affection while you’re away. If I’m caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, supervised environment where they can relax and stay active. I have experience handling dogs of all sizes, including large breeds, and I make sure every dog gets proper exercise, structured walks, and positive interaction. I always pay close attention to body language and behavior to ensure all pets are comfortable and stress-free. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident that their pet is happy and in good hands.
“Our girls were really drawn to Rammiyah, esp the shy one. They appeared well and the house in order. I would have liked more pictures but communication was good. Definitely would rehire her!”

“James house sat and took care of our three senior pets for a week in August 2026. Our cat is 20 years old, while our dogs are 17 and 10+ years old respectively. Their ages require an extra level of care which James handled well. Thanks for all of your help, James!”

“Naya did a wonderful job taking care of our two rambunctious boys while we were out of the country for a week. She sent regular updates and pictures while we were gone and was very responsive when we reached out. We came home to happy dogs and a clean house - nothing better than that!!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for close family members, caring for their small dogs with love and patience. I also own a Rottweiler, so I’m comfortable with both small and large breeds. These experiences have taught me responsibility, trust, and how to connect with different pets, making me a reliable and caring pet sitter. I’m flexible on weekends, after work hours, and during holidays, which gives me plenty of availability to provide consistent, attentive care. I make sure to prioritize each pet’s needs while balancing my other responsibilities. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I always follow their routines to help them feel safe and comfortable. I provide fresh food, water, regular walks, playtime, and lots of attention. I also make sure to follow any special care instructions and keep their space clean. When caring for pets in my own home, I provide a safe, loving environment with plenty of exercise, play, and rest. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel happy and cared for wherever they are.
“Book this pet sitter! She is a dog whisperer!!! I can't say enough wonderful things about Mia. She stayed with my dog overnight for 4 days. My dog loved ❤️ her. Mia was also a great house guest in my home. Everything was very clean and tidy when I got back. She's a college student with lots of energy for your pet. I highly recommend her for the Lake Oconee area.”

“Lindsay was an absolute delight! She was incredibly attentive and caring with our kitten. She made sure he got plenty of playtime and attention while we were away, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. We really appreciated how thoughtful and communicative she was and would definitely recommend Lindsay to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Alfie was so well taken care of with Cabby! She watched him for almost a week at our house. We loved the regular updates and all the love and care she gave our sweet (but very needy) Pitt Bull! Cabby is incredible and we are grateful to have found her!”

“Viva is the best dog sitter!!! Our boys have such a wonderful connection with her and while we miss them when we are away, we never worry about them. She always sends the best pictures and videos, too! 15/10!”

“Jenny was very communicative, and took great care of our pets! She sent lots of videos and photos of our cat and dog being playful and happy, and we came home to a clean house. Grateful!”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats (often at the same time) since I was old enough to hold the leash and walk with one of my childhood family pups Hershey on my own. My spouse (Paroma) and I have fostered and rescued dogs and cats of all ages and sizes -- from rambunctious puppies and kittens to senior fospice (foster hospice) cats and dogs -- since 2018. We currently have a Pitty-mix (Mako) our long-legged Jack Russell terrier/Chihuahua/Corgi (Boris) and a sweet orange cat named Cathulu (or Cat, for short). Our animal care philosophy is simple: when your animal is with us, I (we) ensure they know they're loved, well-fed, and have plenty of play time, walks, and/or good company, no matter where they are. I am currently available for full time dog/cat sitting (our house boarding or in your house overnights), in-house/apartment visits, walks, play time, or anything besides certified training and grooming. I am available all seven calendar days in the week. I have a fenced yard, two sweet dogs and a cat to keep your creature company. If your dog or cat prefers their own space, I will absolutely ensure they have it in our home. When we schedule an appointment, I will gladly schedule a complimentary "meet and greet" for your pet(s) and I to get to know each other. During our "meet and greet," I'll ask you all of the questions related to your lovely pet's care. No "special need" or "quirk" will surprise me, so please feel free to share anything and everything with me as we meet and greet. I would be honored to take care of your sweet pet. They're family: they deserved to be treated like it.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 4,353 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Conley. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Conley walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Conley maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Conley choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Conley. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
