While I’ve raised puppies—like my sweet girl River, who I had from 8 weeks old to 3 years—I’ve grown to love the rhythm and bond that comes with dogs at every stage of life. I currently work remote so I have the flexibility to go on walks during the afternoon, evening, early morning or whenever they need to go out! I’m currently in an house with no other pets. About: I understand animal behavior, studied force free training and finally became a certified dog trainer earlier this year. While working in a boarding facility I noticed the dogs were not happy, uneasy and confused. Some wouldn't eat for days, some wouldn't go potty outside, and most would desperately look for their owners during our walks. And don't even get me started on how disarrayed the cats were. From that experience I knew I wanted to encourage pet owners if they must leave their pets, leave them at home, or in a homely environment, where they can be undividedly attended to, loved and cared for. I am a stay-at-home mother/wife, writer, artist, and animal lover with ample flexibility throughout the week. I like to plan my days at least 24 hours in advance to ensure efficiency in all my duties. Nature, nurture, and animals are part of my purpose for living I believe. Therefore, their wellbeing is what I care about. I am disciplined, forthcoming and honest, and enjoy interacting with others of similar character. Even though I play heavily with animals when they want to play with me, I also create an atmosphere of mutual respect and order, usually upon 1st introduction. This allows the pet to follow my lead and trust in me as a child would a parent.

About: Ive always been a lover of animals and my family and I have rescued multiple cats and dogs since I was little. Ive learned how to take care of even pregnant cats. I usually wake up around 8 am to feed my cats and clean their litter boxes at around 10 am. I come back at around 12 pm for a little snack and by 8 pm they have dinner and I clean the litter box for the second time. I keep a clean environment so that my cats are able to roam freely and I dont have to worry about them getting sick. Cats can get bored as well so I play with them and even talk with them.

About: Our family has had two very sweet cats for over a decade. We love them so much. I can always tell how they feel based on their nonverbals. I am happy to rearrange my schedule to meet the needs of the pet parent. Happy to work recurring gigs as well! Please feel free to request drop ins, sitting, and walks. Through volunteering, I’ve also taken a Behavior Treatment class for shy/fearful and leash-reactive dogs, so if your pup has some behavioral special needs, I’m more than happy to take the time to make them and you as comfortable as possible.
