About: I have taken care of pets since I was a child. I grew in a mini zoo. We had cats, dogs, rabbits, pigeons, roosters, monkeys, turtles and civets just to name a few. I love animals in general and think take care of them makes the world a better place. I have a Job that allows me to work from home so I am always available to check on your fur baby several times during the day! I also live about 20 min from the airport so even if I'm far from you and you need to travel and need boarding, my place is very convenient for drop off and pick up from the airport. About: Hello! I grew up in New Jersey and have called Georgia home for the last 8 years. As early as I can remember, I’ve loved being around animals of all shapes and sizes. I bond easily with most animals because I am a kind, calm, and confident person. My friends call it a nurturing spirit because countless times I have been to a gathering or party and someone's pet decided that I was their new best friend. When I started living on my own in Atlanta, I decided it was time to adopt my first pets as an adult. I adopted two seniors who still had so much love to share. Their names were Brittanica (the cat) and Roberta (the dog). Both were diagnosed with chronic illnesses that required IV fluids and maintenance medications that had to be given on particular schedules. With advice from their care team, I made sure that each interaction for treatment was a positive experience. Sometimes I pulled out all the stops with treats, bundling them in a blanket, and setting up a soothing environment. If your pet requires such treatments, written notes would be appreciated so I can reference the process as much as possible. My current pets are younger than my first two and keep me on my toes! We have a lot of fluffy fun as Stellaluna is a sweetheart, longhaired domestic cat and Sir Waddles Von Wigglebutt is a very friendly, laid back corgi. We have a good routine where the first thing we do when we wake up is pre-breakfast cuddle time! There have been times where we’ve needed to be flexible and eat breakfast first though. My day-to-day is structured so that I can get steps in with Waddles and I can set up enrichment activities for his working dog nature. Often you’ll see us with the Atlanta Corgi group so he can be a social butterfly. If the weather isn’t great or I have a deadline to meet at work, he’ll stay home and do puzzles. Other hobbies that fit in my schedule include playing DND or board games, doing dog training classes with Waddles, and watching TV with Stella. When it comes to taking care of your pets, I will make sure that we keep to the routine they’re most familiar with too! We’ll do videos and pics as much as we can during the visit. My goal with each visit is that your pet is treated well and feels like they’re getting their own vacation even though they’ll be missing you. I work in the film industry in post production and I work remotely from home. I will have plenty of time to play and check on your furry friend for scheduled appointments. When I do not have an active contract, I enjoy taking longer walks and playing with your pet extra with your pet. To guarantee more than 30 minutes of play time, please book my 60 min visits. Safety is a top priority when I am taking care of animals. Regardless of how well trained a pet is, they are animals and are unpredictable at times. For that reason, when walking your dog, I will make sure that it is on leash unless we are in your fenced yard. If your dog is staying over with me, a crate is necessary so they have their own space where they’re safe when I’m not home. I do have a cat so if your dog is not cat friendly, we will not be able to work together. I believe in strong communication and transparency. While with your fuzzy friend, I will send you updates and photos through the app!

About: We are retired known in our neighborhood as Dog Mom & Dad because we take care of stray dogs, find their owner, and sometimes take them in if we cannot find their owner. For over 40 years we have had one or more dogs, all from rescue centers or from our local vet who will refer us to owners who are no longer able to care for their furry buddy. Our goal is to replicate the schedule and environment your pet is accustomed to, give the love and attention that your pet gets at home and reinforce the training you have implemented. Safety and security are important to us; consequently, we have developed an intake process that assures other pets in our care have the proper vaccinations to protect our other “guest.” Therefore, a pre-stay consultation is REQUIRED to ensure that the appropriate vaccinations are current, and any special needs are identified. We live in a quiet neighborhood, with very little traffic. We have a completely fenced back yard with cameras to record all activity. We are both retired and assure you that your pet will be supervised twenty-four by seven. Text, pictures, and videos will be sent daily. For boarding in home stays, if you drop off in the morning and pick up in the evening a daycare charge will be for the last day. Hours: Drop-offs and pick-ups accepted at our home from 7 am to 7 pm, Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 4 pm to 6 pm Sunday. We will transport your dog (6-mile radius from our home only). Messages returned between 7 am and 7 pm. Meet and greets in our home scheduled between 10 am and 5 pm. We’re both retired and have plenty of time for playtime, hugs and cuddles. We're available to provide short trips and outside walks during the day. We have a completely fenced in back yard and have plenty of time to keep your fur baby happy. During our "meet and greet," I'll ask you all of the questions related to your lovely pet's care. No "special need" or "quirk" will surprise me, so please feel free to share anything and everything with me as we meet and greet. I would be honored to take care of your sweet pet. They're family: they deserved to be treated like it.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets for 14 years now, including my own and many friends, neighbors, and family. I work as a veterinarian. I’m willing to bathe your pets in addition to their basic needs. I know how to administer injections and other medications your pet may need. I take my currents pets out 3 times a day, and feed twice daily. I like taking them to parks once to twice a week if the owner is okay with that. I would take them out as many times as you see fit before and after class. If your pet is social they can play with my 10.5 year old and 3yr old. Both are very dog friendly and easy going. I do request them meeting outside before I bring them in. I do not believe in leaving your pets with mine while I am gone. Therefore the will be seperate when I must leave.
About: I’ve spent my whole life around dogs, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. While I’ve raised puppies—like my sweet girl River, who I had from 8 weeks old to 3 years—I’ve grown to love the rhythm and bond that comes with dogs at every stage of life. I’m especially comfortable with routines, emotional needs, and making sure your dog feels safe and cared for while you’re away. I currently work remote so I have the flexibility to go on walks during the afternoon, evening, early morning or whenever they need to go out! I’m currently in an house with no other pets. I have plenty of room for them to hangout and feel safe. I’ll make sure they get lots of cuddles and walks.
About: Since i was younger I’ve always loved dogs. Whether my own or volunteering at a shelter my passion has always been animals <3 When i heard about Rover i was ecstatic. Having the chance to meet more fur babies , getting to know each personality, and learning more everyday is something i am looking forward to. I do work full time but an early morning shift (4am-12pm) I have the rest of my day, why not fill it doing something i love? Which is pet care! I take pride in animals and often feel as though i can connect with them better than humans! Other than working in the morning my day is free! I live in an apartment which does not have a yard, but there is a park less than a 2 minute walk from where i stay! My neighborhood is dog friendly and does require leashes on every dog! I can crate your dog if needed, and make adjustments as requested.
About: I am an aspiring veterinarian currently working and in school to learn as much as I can about pets and properly caring for them. I have worked at vet clinics for the past 5/6 years and would love the opportunity to care and help out your pets in any way I can. I am very comfortable with both dogs cats and other reptiles as well. I work at an animal clinic so caring for animals is always apart of my days. Animals station and in my care have the option of coming to work with me where they will have a nice comfy spot for the day. I also am able to keep pets at my home and do potty breaks and playtime throughout the day. I am an experienced animal lover and caretaker. I am able to give meds do some small training exercises. I am comfortable giving medication and working with pets that may not be well socialized

This is my first time working as a pet sitter on an official app like Rover, but I have experience taking care of my own pets and walking dogs on WAG!, so I know how much your pets mean to you! Saying this, I am beyond excited to get into the field! I am always open to talk and work around schedules! I hope that you choose me to care for your little (or big) bundle of joy! I often take walking breaks during the work day as well, so I will make sure they get plenty of sunlight and exercise. I’ll make sure to check your pet daily for any abnormal behavior so that you are immediately aware of anything concerning. In my own home, I’ll make sure to put away things that may pose a danger to them, allow them to smell the area to become familiar with it, and stay in their eyesight so they can learn to become comfortable in my presence. In your own home, I’ll be respectful of your space. I’ll keep your pet from areas that are off limits and make sure to clean spaces that they frequent often. On walks, I’ll keep an eye out on the areas that we walk in and the things they pick up (especially puppies) so they aren’t digesting anything harmful. I’ll take all precautions to make sure your pet is safe and sound!
About: Hello! I’m Adreana and I've seen the nitty, the gritty, and the nasty...nothing can scare me away, trust me I volunteered for a shelter in college lol. In terms of my tangible experience, I've logged an immense amount of hours volunteering at animal shelters and pet-sitting for various friends and family. I'm a huge advocate for exercise and fitness for pets so if you leave your dog with me, I guarantee that we will be going on runs and playing outside. I have my own fur baby and she is my whole life, I’ve even opted out of having kids ?? doggies will do. I one day hope to own my own “no-kill” shelter.
