“Whenever I’ve left town and had to find care for my dogs, I always had some worry lurking. The minute Jennifer texted me back, I could feel her love of dogs. We had extensive conversations and she responded immediately. When I dropped my two dogs off, for a 10 day stay, we chatted in their huge fenced yard while my dogs explored and sniffed and approached both Jennifer and Nick, something my shy girl rarely does. I knew then they’d be in great hands. I left feeling they would be safe, have great accommodations and get a lot of attention and play. Throughout my trip I got daily photos, videos and texts, even dressed in Christmas costumes! I could tell that they were beyond comfortable- they were happy and they felt loved. About: Hello! I grew up in New Jersey and have called Georgia home for the last 8 years. As early as I can remember, I’ve loved being around animals of all shapes and sizes. I bond easily with most animals because I am a kind, calm, and confident person. My friends call it a nurturing spirit because countless times I have been to a gathering or party and someone's pet decided that I was their new best friend. When I started living on my own in Atlanta, I decided it was time to adopt my first pets as an adult. I adopted two seniors who still had so much love to share. Their names were Brittanica (the cat) and Roberta (the dog). Both were diagnosed with chronic illnesses that required IV fluids and maintenance medications that had to be given on particular schedules. With advice from their care team, I made sure that each interaction for treatment was a positive experience. Sometimes I pulled out all the stops with treats, bundling them in a blanket, and setting up a soothing environment. If your pet requires such treatments, written notes would be appreciated so I can reference the process as much as possible. My current pets are younger than my first two and keep me on my toes! We have a lot of fluffy fun as Stellaluna is a sweetheart, longhaired domestic cat and Sir Waddles Von Wigglebutt is a very friendly, laid back corgi. We have a good routine where the first thing we do when we wake up is pre-breakfast cuddle time! There have been times where we’ve needed to be flexible and eat breakfast first though. My day-to-day is structured so that I can get steps in with Waddles and I can set up enrichment activities for his working dog nature. Often you’ll see us with the Atlanta Corgi group so he can be a social butterfly. If the weather isn’t great or I have a deadline to meet at work, he’ll stay home and do puzzles. Other hobbies that fit in my schedule include playing DND or board games, doing dog training classes with Waddles, and watching TV with Stella. When it comes to taking care of your pets, I will make sure that we keep to the routine they’re most familiar with too! We’ll do videos and pics as much as we can during the visit. My goal with each visit is that your pet is treated well and feels like they’re getting their own vacation even though they’ll be missing you. I work in the film industry in post production and I work remotely from home. I will have plenty of time to play and check on your furry friend for scheduled appointments. When I do not have an active contract, I enjoy taking longer walks and playing with your pet extra with your pet. To guarantee more than 30 minutes of play time, please book my 60 min visits. Safety is a top priority when I am taking care of animals. Regardless of how well trained a pet is, they are animals and are unpredictable at times. For that reason, when walking your dog, I will make sure that it is on leash unless we are in your fenced yard. If your dog is staying over with me, a crate is necessary so they have their own space where they’re safe when I’m not home. I do have a cat so if your dog is not cat friendly, we will not be able to work together. I believe in strong communication and transparency. While with your fuzzy friend, I will send you updates and photos through the app!
About: I am fully remote worker, so your dog has company all day long, no extended lonely hours. I currently care for my own senior Lab mix. Also cared for my diabetic senior Maltese for 15 years, so special needs are no problem. Your pup gets a part time home with me. Drop offs no earlier than 7am. Pickups no later than 9pm. I crate at night and when leaving the house for safety of all pets. Working from home grants me ability to care for my dog and others more closely, with more frequent potty breaks, and play time in fenced yard. I have a fenced in yard and several room spaces to separate if alone time needed, like sleep time or feeding. Your pup will spend days with me in my office while I work Monday-Friday. Depending on your location, I can provide transportation to and from my area. I provide house sitting as well, with the utmost respect to your home. I’m comfortable using alarm systems, key pads, entering/exiting closed communities/complexes, and being on security cameras. You can be confident that your pets will be loved like they are one of my own! I can send your pets home cleaner too, if you'd like, and I provide basic home care for overnight clients such as bringing in the mail, taking the trash out, watering plants, etc. However, I am currently unavailable to do overnight stays lasting longer than 4 nights. About: I’ve been taking care of pets for 14 years now, including my own and many friends, neighbors, and family. I work as a veterinarian. I’m willing to bathe your pets in addition to their basic needs. I know how to administer injections and other medications your pet may need. I take my currents pets out 3 times a day, and feed twice daily. I like taking them to parks once to twice a week if the owner is okay with that. I would take them out as many times as you see fit before and after class. If your pet is social they can play with my 10.5 year old and 3yr old. Both are very dog friendly and easy going. I do request them meeting outside before I bring them in. I do not believe in leaving your pets with mine while I am gone. Therefore the will be seperate when I must leave.

This is my first time working as a pet sitter on an official app like Rover, but I have experience taking care of my own pets and walking dogs on WAG!, so I know how much your pets mean to you! Saying this, I am beyond excited to get into the field! I am always open to talk and work around schedules! I hope that you choose me to care for your little (or big) bundle of joy! I’m currently working remote so I have plenty of time to watch, play with, and walk your pet! I often take walking breaks during the work day as well, so I will make sure they get plenty of sunlight and exercise. Your loved one will never be lonely and they will have plenty of company during the day. I will treat your pet like it’s my own: with lots of love and lots of care. I’ll make sure to check your pet daily for any abnormal behavior so that you are immediately aware of anything concerning. In my own home, I’ll make sure to put away things that may pose a danger to them, allow them to smell the area to become familiar with it, and stay in their eyesight so they can learn to become comfortable in my presence. In your own home, I’ll be respectful of your space. I’ll keep your pet from areas that are off limits and make sure to clean spaces that they frequent often. On walks, I’ll keep an eye out on the areas that we walk in and the things they pick up (especially puppies) so they aren’t digesting anything harmful. I’ll take all precautions to make sure your pet is safe and sound!

In terms of my tangible experience, I've logged an immense amount of hours volunteering at animal shelters and pet-sitting for various friends and family. About: I understand animal behaviors and aspire to be a trainer eventually. While working in a boarding facility I noticed the dogs were not happy, uneasy and confused. Some wouldn't eat for days, some wouldn't go potty outside, and most would desperately look for their owners during our walks. And don't even get me started on how disarrayed the cats were. From that experience I knew I wanted to encourage pet owners if they must leave their pets, leave them at home, or in a homely environment, where they can be undividedly attended to, loved and cared for. I am a stay-at-home mother/wife, writer, artist, and animal lover with ample flexibility throughout the week. I like to plan my days at least 24 hours in advance to ensure efficiency in all my duties. Nature, nurture, and animals are part of my purpose for living I believe. Therefore, their wellbeing is what I care about. I am disciplined, forthcoming and honest, and enjoy interacting with others of similar character. Even though I play heavily with animals when they want to play with me, I also create an atmosphere of mutual respect and order, usually upon 1st introduction. This allows the pet to follow my lead and trust in me as a child would a parent.
About: I have had pets since I was about 7 years old. I love pets of all kinds and have experience caring for cats, dogs, fish, etc, I have even owned an iguana and a geico. To be honest dogs are definitely my jam though! Nothing makes me happier than taking a pup on a nice long fun walk and giving belly, head, or leg rubs depending on what the pup prefers. I am always in service of all my four legged friends. I have lots of patient and know some training basics from raising and fostering my own pets. I am usually consistently available between 9 am to 7pm. I can be available earlier or later depending upon the times or services needed and my availability. I have a large fenced back yard. I usually lets the pups run around in the back yard every two to three hours then back in the house. I have a single family ranch style house but I do currently own two other pups so dogs must be comfortable with the presence of other dogs. My in home pets are definitely dog friendly and your pet will be kept separate unless you’d prefer them in a crate or free to engage with my pups just let me know what makes you and your pup most comfortable before hand please. If you prefer that I come to your home I am happy to walk, feed, and keep your dog company and follow whatever schedule is already in place. I can reinforce any current training you are doing as long as treats are available. Please feel free to give me a list of any pet care needs, known allergy, or behavioral issues. I am here to help you and care for your pet so you can have a piece of mind knowing your pet is safe and well taken care of.

About: I am very passionate about animals, I currently have one cat of my own and before she came along I was grew up with two dogs who lived to be fifteen and sixteen years old. At the moment I am only work part time so I have plenty of time to stop by and take care of your dog or cat I tend to avoid other dogs and do not have any in my home. When I go to the dog park, I prefer to wait until it’s empty and my dog can have free run.

“Whenever I’ve left town and had to find care for my dogs, I always had some worry lurking. The minute Jennifer texted me back, I could feel her love of dogs. We had extensive conversations and she responded immediately. When I dropped my two dogs off, for a 10 day stay, we chatted in their huge fenced yard while my dogs explored and sniffed and approached both Jennifer and Nick, something my shy girl rarely does. I knew then they’d be in great hands. I left feeling they would be safe, have great accommodations and get a lot of attention and play.
