“Sydney did an excellent job caring for my two fur babies. One of my dogs is a senior, so I’m always a little nervous about leaving them with a sitter. From the moment we met, Sydney put my mind at ease and kept me updated throughout the day with plenty of photos. It was clear that my dogs were well cared for and in great hands. I would absolutely book with Sydney again and highly recommend her to others. 🐾❤️”

“Anais is great! Shared photos and was flexible when I needed to extend for a couple of days. My dog Aida said she had a great time with plenty of interaction. Thank you!”

“Dog appears to have had an enjoyable experience with Jani and her family. She provided treats and toys. I was happy with the booking. Rover is more expensive than my regular boarder but good for last minute alternative. I would use her service again.”

“Crystal was amazing. We had our 1 year old cat boarded for a few days while we were on vacation. She took very good care of him, despite our cat’s slight mischievous behavior. Her cat room allowed him to be alone so we didn’t have to worry about anything and she even hid treats for his to find during the nignt since he seems to be most active then… Will definitely come back if we need him boarded again. Also gave me updates with pictures a couple times a day.”

“Owen had a great indoor and outdoor space for my doggos. He also kept in touch and regularly sent me picture/video updates. I could relax on vacation knowing my babies were in good hands.”

“One of my best friends recommended Alexandria and I was not disappointed. Alexandria was the best at sending daily updates, including pics and videos of our pup while we were gone. Definitely going to use Alexandria again as our go-to sitter. Thanks so much for treating Manny like your own ☺️”

About: Hi! I'm Sara, and I provide boarding exclusively for small dogs in a safe, calm, and loving home environment. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, secure, and loved while you're away. Whether your pup enjoys playing, snuggling on the couch, or simply relaxing in a cozy spot, I'll do my best to maintain their routine and make them feel right at home. My home includes two friendly small dogs (Penny -9 yrs old and Prince-7 yrs old), my husband, and a baby, so I only accept dogs that are comfortable in a family environment and have a gentle temperament. Many dogs thrive in this cozy, home-like setting and enjoy being part of the daily routine. Because I only accept small dogs, your pet can enjoy a low stress environment with individualized attention and care. One of the biggest benefits of my home is that your dog won't be overwhelmed by larger dogs or crowded boarding facilities. For the comfort of all parties involved, I do not host more than 2 pets at a time, unless they are from the same family. In addition, I work from home, so your pup will have company 24/7. I can accommodate puppies (over 1 year old) and senior dogs. I can administer most oral medications if needed. You'll also receive regular photo and video updates throughout your dog's stay so you can have peace of mind knowing they're happy and well cared for. For the safety and comfort of all pets in my home, I only accept: 🐾 Small dogs under 15 lbs (can discuss if they are a couple pounds over) 🐾 Dogs that are friendly with other small dogs 🐾 Dogs that are up-to-date on vaccinations 🐾 Spayed/neutered dogs I look forward to meeting you and your pup and becoming their home away from home! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home, which allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, supervision, companionship, and plenty of attention throughout the day. My own dogs are an important part of our family's routine, so caring for pets is already built into my schedule. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are incredibly important to me. As a dog owner myself, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet in someone else's care, so I do my best to provide a loving, home-like environment where they can feel relaxed and secure. I only board small dogs and keep the number of guest dogs limited so that each pup gets plenty of attention and care. Before each stay, I like to learn about your dog's personality, routine, favorite activities, and any special needs so I can make their experience as comfortable as possible. All interactions are supervised, and I prioritize creating a calm, positive space where dogs can settle in and feel at home.
“My dog has a somewhat nervous disposition, but Colleen went out of her way to ensure that my dog would feel comfortable with her. Before boarding my dog, she suggested meeting up at a dog park so my dog could become familiar with her and her dog. Later, when I dropped my dog off for boarding, Colleen carefully introduced her to the other dogs in the house one at a time so she wouldn't get overwhelmed. Additionally, Colleen incorporated familiar blankets and routines from home to help my dog settle into her new situation. Although my dog is sometimes too anxious to eat when she's in a new place, she consistently ate well at Colleen's. She also enjoyed going for walks, watching the world from the front window, and hanging out on the couch and back deck with the other dogs. Colleen shared regular updates and photos about how my dog was doing. She was also quick to respond to updates from my end. I'm very thankful for the thoughtful care Colleen provided throughout my dog's stay in her home!”

“Poppy spent 12 days with Martha and we she couldn’t be in better hands! Martha was very very attentive, caring and always responded quickly to our questions. When we picked Poppy up, we felt that she was feeling at home. Thank you, Martha”

“Sitong sent me pictures everyday while I was away for 3 weeks and was communicative when needed and Marley looked like he felt at home with him and his family. I believe he took care of Marley very well.”

“Valoneecia took wonderful care of our 2 dogs. Just upon meeting her, she had such a warm personality. One our our pups is 15 years old, happy to try to walk around but in a cast and a donut, and she was so accommodating and kept us updated on how he was feeling so we could decide if he needed his meds. She took our older dog and younger dog on separate walks so the younger one could get more exercise. Great contact and care. She sent cute pics and videos too! Would absolutely trust her to care for them again!”

“Leeandra was great! sent updated photos and was great for my pup! My dog is very high maintenance (wears a diaper and takes medication) and she did a great job! also was flexible when i needed to last minute add another day :))”

“Peggy was kind and communicative about our fur baby. She let me know how he was doing and sent pictures during the day. Her gentleness with him allowed him to settle down and be more comfortable. We'll definitely be back!”

Chelsea took great care of our dog, Ruby! She sent lots of updates and pictures throughout her stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. She was incredibly accommodating and easy to work with, and Ruby was happy and well cared for. We would absolutely trust Chelsea to watch Ruby again. Highly recommend!

Sydney was great! She kept me updated the entire time with pictures and messages, which I really appreciated. Zoey was well taken care of and it was clear Sydney genuinely enjoyed having her. Zoey also did really well with the other dogs Sydney was boarding, which was great to see. Sydney has a great personality, is very communicative, and made the whole experience easy and stress-free. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!

We were a little concerned about leaving our elderly dog for two weeks since he sometimes gets anxious in unfamiliar places but he seemed to feel right at home with Daniela and Dario. They took very good care of our dog and we would not hesitate to board him there again in the future.
Brittany was Amazing! My dog took to her instantly! She was patient and kind with my..."strong-willed" baby. Her fenced backyard was perfect to allow him to roam freely. She kept me updated with photos throughout his stay. We will definitely book with Brittany again.

Kristen was amazing. She was able to take Charlie with less than an hour notice and it seriously saved my day. Charlie came back super happy and relaxed. She kept me updated the whole time and sent pictures and messages so I always knew how my Charlie was doing. 10/10 would definitely book again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
