About: I’ve owned and raised around 6 cats throughout my life. About 3 dogs and almost all of them were rescue pets. I’ve indulged in both dog and house sitting, most of which were overnight jobs. I’ve tended to malnourished puppies where I’ve nursed them back to perfect health. All around most of my experiences were personal, such as growing up with pets but by the time I was a teenager, I indulged in house sitting, dog walking, etc. The most pets I’d say, I’ve taken care of all at once would be around 5 or 6. I’ve cared for a few reptile pets such as turtles and snakes but it has mostly been cats and dogs. For the first time in my adult life, I have my own beautiful pup. About: Hi! My name is Sydney and I would love to be able to share my love for animals with you and your pet. I do other services such as wag for about 4 years. I also have done Rover before with my mom for 5 years prior. I know how to administer medication, due to the fact one of my own fur babies had diabetes. Very comfortable with senior care and their special ways as I had a baby that had doggy dementia. Also 3 years ago I got a puppy and he’s now 4 but this is to say I’ve raised and trained him (along side my mom) to sit, high five and be potty trained. I've had a dog since before I was even born, so I have a strong place in my heart for animals. I promise to be beyond patient and gentle with your pet because I would hope someone would do the same with mine. I also love to take pictures so l will always send you beautiful pictures of your baby while they are in my care. Im basically always home and always here to take care of your baby. I can take them on walks 3 times a day and if I do anything else outside I always bring them with me downstairs so they can have some extra outside time in the backyard. I also have a fenced in backyard with tons of space so they can sniff and roam freely whenever they’d like. I allow all animals on my furniture so they are always either in my lap or right next to me on my bed! In your home I will abide by whatever rules you have set to ensure your pets safety and make sure you’re comfortable. And if I have any questions at all I’m not afraid to give you a quick call so we can make sure we’re on the same page In my own home, if you would like me to ever put your animal up I do have an extra room in my house where I can put them so they don’t have to be in a cage and they have some more space. I also turn on animal music so they aren’t just sitting in silence while I’m not there. But animals usually have free rein here as I love animals being near me as much as they love being near people!

We do accept multiple bookings at a time if they are within the same household. Also, you must provide a crate at this time. Crates are a safe place where they can go and feel comfortable. It can be a very draining experience for them being in a new place. This helps to put them at ease and protect our home when we leave at times. Please be on time. We have lives as well. We have had experiences when people show up 2 or 3 hours after drop off time or dont show up at all. If you say 8am we expect you to be here by 8am. We also understand that some things are just out of our control. Please be considerate and courteous. I give them loads of love and attention, of course food water, and take them on walks as often as need be alongside whatever other requirements may be necessary for successfully taken care of the fur babies!

Growing up with a mother who has worked in the veterinary profession for over 26 years, I’ve been around animals my entire life and have learned a lot about proper care, behavior, and basic medical attention for dogs. While I do like cats, I unfortunately have allergies, so I prefer dog sitting and other household care rather than cat sitting. 🩷 Pet care fits easily into my daily routine even while working a Monday–Friday 8–5 schedule. I’m able to provide care before work, during my midday break, and after work, which allows me to maintain a consistent routine for pets. In the mornings, I make sure pets get walked, fed, and settled comfortably before I leave for work. I also have a midday hour break, which allows me to return for a potty break, quick walk, feeding if needed, and some attention/playtime. In the evenings, I dedicate time for longer walks, exercise, feeding, and companionship so pets feel relaxed and cared for. For house sitting, I do my best to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they receive plenty of attention and care while their owners are away. I’m also very communicative and happy to send regular updates and photos for peace of mind. I always follow the pet owner’s routine and care instructions so pets feel comfortable and stay on their normal schedule. If a routine isn’t provided, I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise, attention, and playtime, including walks of at least 45 minutes. I’m happy to help with feeding, fresh water, outdoor play, potty breaks, and lots of attention. With the owner’s permission, I can also take dogs to dog parks or longer walks for extra exercise and socialization. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, maintaining their routine, and providing updates so owners have peace of mind while they’re away. 🐾

I can't remember a time when I didn't have a pet.I have cared for dogs, cats, birds and other pets for family and friends and also as part of my duties at a former employer. I will provide daily reports on time of walk, length of stay, bathroom habits, check food , water. I will always place the keys in a secure location and lock the house when leaving. I am available for pet sitting in your home as I believe pets are more comfortable in their own home. I'm open most days. I'm semi-retired and my schedule is pretty flexible. For daily walk and visit 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Mon-Fri . I will care for your pets, and try to closely match the routine you have for your pet.
